Good explanation of the pairing
Thanks for watching! Let us know if there are any other pairings or topics you'd like to see discussed?
I was wondering if when filming your show if you let the wine breathe once poured , but edit out that time so we aren’t sitting around for 15-30 minutes, or do you just tilt the glass right away? I personally like to try it right away then see how the flavor differs a short while later.
@@diabloprops in some cases I do but most of the time the videos are shot in real time. So I'm tasting it right out of the bottle just like you do!
Happy weekend, friends! Let's pop open something delicious. If your'e a fan of Russian River Pinots, give me a shout here. Would love to hear your thoughts.
Summer's officially here and so is the heat, so let's pop a crisp and refreshing white wine this time. Have you ever had Marsanne from Saint-Péray before? If not you should definitely check this one out. Share your questions or comments here!
not yao, joão pronounced jew-how good video.
Thanks for helping!
carbon dioxide??? Ouch! isn't it like deadly for the earth ??
THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS
Happy July, wine lovers! We've got another great tasting adventure for you this month. One of my favorites - Syrah - this time from Washington State. I just popped these open the other day and MAN are they BIG. Get ready, and let me know if you have any questions here. I'm happy to answer.
Oooh, wines with a creamy, buttery finish are some my favorites. I will try to find this one.
I’d rather have a Cava than a Prosecco!! Just bought some less expensive Champagne 🍾 at the store yesterday and have them in the wine fridge to try some day!!
Us too! Thanks for watching!
What's up, friends? I know the summer is (unofficially) here, but there's always time for red wine. Let's uncork a red from Bordeaux's Right Bank - a beautiful 94 point Merlot-based wine from Saint-Émilion. Share your thoughts and opinions here!
Hi! Love the content. Why choose to emphasize the point scale though? Like according to whom? (Or is it your own rating?)
I really like Spanish red wine from the north: navarra, Ribera del Duero and ... Rioja. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for giving time to share about SA wine! I so appreciate your hard work on this 🙏🙏🙏
Thanks for watching! Gesondheid!
Hey friends! Let's open some sake. Have you tried this one with us in a prior tasting? Do you enjoy sake, if so, what are your favorites? I'd appreciate your thoughts and feedback. Thanks!
Marc - if Sauvignon Blanc is the white version of cab sauv, why is it in chard bottles rather than cab bottles? does it matter?
Hi Mary, the bottles are actually a hybrid of Bordeaux and Burgundy shaped-bottles. Bordeaux bottles have the round shoulders and Bordeaux have those sharp angled shoulders. In a region of the country (Loire) that doesn't really have it's own style, they just borrow from the other regions. And no, it doesn't really matter. It's more a stylistic choice by the winery.
June is here, and that means it's time for another Premium Wine Club release! In keeping with our theme for the warmer weather, we're doing all Sauvignon blanc for this set. What are your thoughts on SB? Any questions about this offering? Post here and I'll be sure to answer. 🥂
Hey friends. Let's uncork something a little different... Do we have any Baga lovers in the house? What is your experience with the grape/wine? Any questions about this wine? Post here. Cheers! 🍷
I think the Rhone Valley is my favorite French wine region.
It's a toss-up between Burgundy and Rhone for me, but I agree! Syrah might be my favorite red.
Wine with pizza? Grilled lamb?! Pizza is not proper food for anyone with taste and lamb must not be grilled because it will keep the unpleasant taste characteristic of the species…
Happy #winetime, friends! It's time to uncork something old, but new... let's get into this lovely Hermitage wine from Cave de Tain. Still available for purchase over at the new WTSO Bottle Shop. Let me know if you have any questions. Cheers!
What a great video. Thank you!!
Hey wine lovers! There's no better way to celebrate than with a Sparkling wine. Have you tried English Sparkling wine yet? Do you think it's as good as Champagne? Share here.
Mahogany color? No. Brick, yes
Very educational; as someone who does not know a lot about alcohol in general, I find these videos quite useful.
Thank you for watching, Daniella! Come check out our selection of wines at wtso.com and let us know if you have any questions.
I love field blends
Come join us!!
Looking forward to it!
See you there!
Happy May, wine lovers! We're coming in hot with another unique and delicious offering: this time we have Old-World inspired Field Blend reds from a relatively new producer in Sonoma. I find them to be reminiscent of Super Tuscan wines from Italy. Feel free to comment here and ask any questions you may have, and I hope to see you for this tasting!
Nice review Thanks and cheers🍷
Thanks Mary!
Hey wine lovers! I know, warmer weather is approaching, but there's always a place for red wine in our hearts. This Syrah ranks up there as one of the boldest wines I've had, ever! Curious to taste it? Check it out at the WTSO bottle shop. And of course, leave your questions and comments here! Cheers 🍷
Wonderful wines and tasting
Great info!
Where did you get that wine aroma box?
Let's warm up for the weekend - and next month's tasting - with some of the world's best Chardonnays! Are planning on joining us for this event? I'd love to hear your opinions on Chablis and California Chardonnay. Feel free to share here. Cheers!
Welcome back for another tasting session. This time, we're headed to Rutherford to drink Merlot. Rutherford Hill is the OG of Merlot in the Napa region and this wine does not disappoint. Do you have this one in your cellar? If not, grab a bottle and taste along. Cheers!
I really enjoyed the class. Very informative.
It was like drinking a high end Mad Dog 20/20 or Boones Farm... the hangover 😫
This should be a great one. I have found so much variety in Chardonnay and want to learn more about it.
I'm an unapologetic Chardonnay lover, and yes, this is one grape/wine that really has a thousand faces/flavors. That Chablis is divine. See you there, Scott!
Hello, wine lovers! We're excited to offer this month's set. This compare and contrast experience will be a lot of fun; let us know if you have any questions!
AND, added bonus, I did NOT open it when this was first sent as part of the PWC sparkling offering, so I can now share it on Easter Sunday with my wine-loving Tribe! Thanks, Marc!
My pleasure! Enjoy Mary! And Happy Easter!
LOVE THIS!!!!!
If you love Sparkling wine, you'll want to try this unique bottle from the Veneto. Made from Garganega, fragrant and crisp, it's the perfect wine for the Spring. Let me know if you have any questions or comments!
Great job Marc
Trying to find the follow up????
Very Nice!
The first and only time I visited Oregon wine country was in 2019. I want to get back there so bad. I enjoyed Domaine Drouhin, Hawks View Vineyards Domaine Serene, Willamette Valley Vineyard and Cave Ridge Vineyards. Ive been to Napa Valley a couple of times but I really prefer Oregon.
Happy Friday, friends and wine lovers. Thanks so much for joining us for the Brunello tasting last night. If you've ever wondered about that label/band around the neck of your wine, wonder no more. Here's a brief explanation of what those mean. Cheers!
Oh boy. Another wine channel that doesn't know where where is Zinfandel from 🤦♂️
Beautiful review 🤤
Thanks for watching!
I had a really nice time two years ago wine tasting in the Willamette Valley. There were some misses, but definitely some hits. Although I went during the summer, Wichmann Vineyards wouldn’t ship the bottles I purchased until October when the weather was cooler. Their reasoning being so that bottles wouldn’t be stuck in hot trucks and package centers.
I find the region to be much more down-to-earth and homey than say, Napa. The winemakers there are all friends and they have a strong sense of community. My favorites were Ponzi, Adelsheim and Knudsen. Cheers!
