    Hi is it street legal in switzerland?

  • @Stefstylezz
    @StefstylezzАй бұрын

    @@lorenamorais283 hi! I'm not sure. If Switzerland follows the EU regulations regarding exhausts, then no. There is no EU number on the muffler, and as a generic slip-on, almost no new mufflers have an EU number. They have to be specific for a certain bike and then they need to be tested and homologated. So I'm afraid not, but I'm not 100% sure

    How to remove Intake baffle

  • @Stefstylezz
    @Stefstylezz2 ай бұрын

    Hi! When you remove the left plastic cover, you can see the OEM airbox. Where the air enters the airbox, you can see 3 screws. If you remove these 3 screws, you can pull out the baffle. The filter will still sit nicely in the airbox, but it will be a lot louder! Hope I was able to help you!

    @@Stefstylezz yes thanks, it's not dangerous for the motor ?

  • @Stefstylezz
    @Stefstylezz2 ай бұрын

    @@ExTAZzHSA it should not be. It is a slight restriction, but mostly for the sound. The filter element in the original airbox is of a very bad quality, that is more of a problem. The bikes can also adjust their fuel levels a little bit to adjust for the difference in air there might be. I run a different air filter that does actually deliver more air, and the bike is not always happy with that one. But this baffle is mostly for sound, so should be good to go.

    There are different types of this exhaust, this is about the most replicated exhaust you can find... I just loosened the 3 screws holding that cap on, and then got off the cap. If it is stuck on there, you can remove the exhaust off the bike and hit the inside of the exhaust with a pipe from the front. It should dislodge the end cap. That's also how I removed the inside of the exhaust to install the other inside pipe with the DB killer. Hope that helps, and hope you get the instalation done!

    Als je dezelfde onderdelen gekocht hebt zoals ik gebruikt heb, moet je rekening houden dat je niet teveel wol hebt op het eerste deel van de interne buis. Anders kan het zijn dat het binnenwerk niet volledig naar binnen kan schuiven. Je kan eventueel een rubberen hamer gebruiken om een paar tikken te geven. Het binnenwerk heeft 3 inkepingen die aan de schroefgaten moeten zitten, zodat je de vijzen kan monteren in het deksel. Ik heb zelf een beetje wol moeten wegsnijden om het binnenwerk ver genoeg naar binnen te krijgen. Ik zou dat eerst proberen, het binnenwerk is specifiek gemaakt voor deze uitlaat, dus dat zou moeten passen. Je kan ook het originele binnenwerk en de DB killer binnenwerk naast elkaar houden als je twijfelt dat de afmetingen kloppen. Hopelijk lukt het zo wel?

    Really difficult to say haha. I'm gonna quote prices out of my head. 400 euros for the Remus muffler. 150 euros for the midpipe. 300 euros for the H&R lowering springs and afterwards 500 euros for the current voilovers. Also 250 euros for the rear lights, 50 euros for the led side blinkers. 150 for the rear spoiler. 1000 euros for the audio installation (front speakers and subwoofer in the trunk). 300 euros for the DTN intake. 100 euros for the carbon fibre coil cover and about 150 for the titanium heat shield over the headers. There are some miscellaneous things, but I think these are most prominent modifications. So in total not sure, a while ago I calculated at about 3000 - 3500, but now I'm not sure lol. Hope that helps, many links can be found on the video I made as an overview! That one is in my channel. Thanks for watching!

    Yes, with the Remus backbox, as well as with the Ulter Sport exhaust that I customised it sounds nice. There are a few single mufflers in Japan that seem to sound nice, but I don't think they would be legal in Belgium 😑 although this straight pipe is also technically not completely legal 😇😂
