Hi, I too have been tempted to get the un nano smooth camel, I’ve held it and honestly it felt very easy to scratch. Though it looks better vs Nodde (that’s also in smooth leather but somehow looks cheap). I don’t recommend the dix in smooth leather; the part where the strap rubs the bag wears easily.

Hello Annetta, What a nice review. I’m also a lover of Ateliers Auguste, and hadn’t really noticed the off-white lizard imprint bag before. It’s now on my wish list. Regarding the Mini Marly Gold Edition, I got it in the tan box leather, and it is actually my favourite bag of all time (I’ve been a bag lover since 1964). In that colour, it doesn’t really remind me of your Celine bag. I just subscribed. 😊

The leather is more supple, they improve hardware like smoother zipper and Beri handle lock is magnetic bow so it moves smoother. Though I’ve read people saying Polene leather now vs 2018s is thinner xx

I would stay away. I purchased my bag in smooth leather from Polene last year 2023 and less than a year after careful usage my bag has started to peel. It is horrible. I also saw they increased the bag I bought from $420 to $510. I reached out to their customer service with pictures. Waiting for a resolution. In the meantime, my bag is not useful in it's condition. I would spend my money elsewhere. I might have been good before when they first started but they are horrible quality. I would also be careful about KZreadr's reviewing the bag and claiming it to be excellent quality. Remember those people get sent special bags and send their customers a totally different bag.

Ah I had seen many videos before starting purchasing Polene how the ones in smooth leather wear badly. Like cracking Dix where the strap rubs the bag. Never really recommended them :)

Hi! Watching this for the APC grace, this is size small? I purchased this is classic black and gold. Haven't gotten it yet. I wanted to love polene but the quality hasn't been great lately (I've heard). I like the look of the APC but i also like super classic bags. Does the leather scratch easily?

Hi yes it’s pretty small; first I got it I thought it could be a handbag for me. Turned out it’s more fitting as a handy crossbody bag. But capacity is pretty good, I can fit in small water bottle, glasses. Definitely not a mini bag.

Was curious because I have other bags that have similar size, like 20 cm length, 15,5 cm height and 6 cm depth. Polene is 20,5 x 17 x 9 cm. By measurement just so slightly bigger, so it should be fine for me. Do you enjoy it and recommend it or looking back you wouldn’t buy it?

I bought polene december 2023. The leather is good. I love it very much. It's my daily bag (so i can use it carelessly compared to my high luxury brand bag). It's holding well. There's no scratches or leather peeling off or what so ever. It's literally in perfect condition. Except the rain stain 😂 because I'm lazy to wipe it off and now is the rainy season in Jakarta.
