great coxing, I really appreciate the simple calls and the perfect timing for the repetitive calls, amazing for the rhythm, very very good coxing

“I’ve gotten told it’s the easiest sport in the world, but that’s not necessarily right, it’s the simplest sport in the world if you do it right” That’s perfect! You guys are killing it and are an inspiration in rowing! Keep it up!

So much wasted energy, I sense you’re trying to make up for the lack of harmony through raw physiology which could work but imo you’re not rowing well as a pair at all.. It all looks so twitchy and tense. Looks like perhaps Ollie has recognised his blade is consistently diving so he’s physically slouched to row flatter? Maybe not but it’s the sort of thing someone, especially big, who learned to row in an eight would do. Again don’t get upset it’s all just my opinion

Always find someone who thinks they know better then Olympic medalists at their sport

  • @tomgoldswain3

@@henrythehenri7262 it’s wisdom of 25 years’ experience and it’s the kind their coaches should be applying in their decisions. If you’re suggesting that the best rowers have to be guided by those better than them, then I advise you stop and think about that logic. The best pair combination should come out of the eight and this pair put back into the eight

It is interesting how the weak body position and elbow position around the back turn on the ergo can be seen in the boat. Clear area for improvement there for sure
