Great vid, were looking to buy one also, curious tho, neighbour seems a little too interested... Lol
2 hours later….
I’m looking at having a opus 4 made. Do you reckon if I took it out camping with out the hubby. I alone could pack it back up by myself? Totally love the remote control.
Hey! The only part of packing up you might struggle with is pushing the front bed back over. It can be done just needs a little strength behind it. Also having two people to latch it down when packing up is always helpful. I’ve set it up on my own but never packed down completely on my own. Hope this helps :)
@@aussiecampers6139 thank you for replying. I’m a little nervous, but it looks like the best option atm. I’ve rang a company to book into a demo. Looking forward to trying it out in person.
It really is a great camper and so easy to set up and pack down. You could even try to hire one if there are any available in your area and test it out for a weekend? Happy camping!
@@aussiecampers6139 thank you, I’ll look around .
Hi Anty Sinimim it is Bayleigh you videos are so good
Shouldn't you put the support legs down first?
I thought I might want one of these until in watched this video. Christ what a faff - imagine doing that in a wet, rainy, windy field in Wales em rather than a nice flat, sunny driveway
lololol you obviously haven't seen any other setups. This is the second easist camper trailer to setup on the planet...
@@queerfusion I have subsequently watched other videos and it’s very simple. Just this one seems ( not sure why) to make each step take forever
Hi Lawrence, we have actually done both the set up and pack down in the rain and wind and found it quite easy. The purpose of the video was just to show the process slowed down as all others I could find (when we were looking to buy) were all sped up and didn’t show it step by step, or with only one person doing it on their own. Totally up to you what your purchase and what suits you best- we’re just sharing our experience :) hope you find something that works for you!
How amazing is it! Just love this camper so much!
Thanks for the comparison. We are in exactly the same situation, deciding between those two campers. I’ve heard however that the opus OP4 beds are small, or short, and not a full queen size. What can you tell me about that? Regards, Paul.
I went and looked at it, they are "RV" sized queens, and the one bed by the dinette as extension cushions to make it a full King size.
It’s a hard devious hey! They are smallish queen beds, however the bed my partner and I sleep on have an extension so we actually sleep north south vs the east west as the beds fold out. With the extension it actually makes it a king bed, so super roomy. If you check out some of our camping vlogs you will see what I mean :) hope this helps!
Can you keep the beds made up in the camper?
Hey! So we keep our beds made with the mattress topper and sheet and just add the blanket and pillows when we set up camp :)
That hooks great. How does it perform in a windy day? Thanks
Hey! It’s actually really great in windy conditions. Check out some other videos on KZread- when we were looking to buy, I found a video of a helicopter being flown over it to show you just how well they hold up.
Now you've had the opus for a while, are you still happy with it?
Great question! We really are. I think the only thing we are missing is an AC. We live in Queensland so super hot here and while we’ve only been camping in cooler months we would love to do more and not be restricted by cooler months of the year. The camper itself is great though and are so happy with it!
Great video, good space with the awning.
Do you find you get dust or rain coming through the door?
Hey! We haven’t had any dust or rain come inside. We also store it outside with a caravan cover from BCF on it and we’ve never had any issues :)
@@aussiecampers6139 Awesome thanks :)
Enjoy guys. Wishing you many happy memories in your Opus.
your videos always make me wanna go camping
What remote are you using to manoeuvre the camper
It is an option from OPUS. Simple design it pushes a roller into place up against the tire. Not sure how it would work with other trailers though.
Hello! I’m not exactly sure of the name of the caravan movers as we bought the camper second hand and they were already installed, but have a Google and you should find a few types :)
How much does this cost?
Have a chat to set up camp if you’re wanting new, as we bought ours second hand. Second hand was a great option for us as we didn’t feel we needed new for how often we can use it (around 6 times a year)
I thought that the dealer would organise the roadworthy and the gas certificate before pickup.
I probably should have mentioned we bought this camper second hand :) I assume when buying new they would handle those things.
Hi, can you tell me where the cushions from? Thanks 😊
If your wondering about the blue patterned cushions they are from Bunnings ☺️ the other leather looking ones come with the camper.
@@aussiecampers6139 yes the blue ones, thanks so much
i love watching these. Although seeing your spreads makes me hungryyyyyy.
Thanks! Yes, I think we eat better when we’re camping than when at home!
Also, those pigtails are too much 😍😍😍
Makes me want to go camping
Very excited to see this bad boi chalk up some adventures
