My brothers both live in Columbus and I live near Salt Fork State Park. We visited the State House once a few years ago, it was very cool! One of my brothers used to live in German Village so I’ve been to the Book Loft multiple times. I’ve never eaten at Lindey’s because every time we’ve eaten at the area we’ve gone to Schmidt’s. I haven’t been there since Covid though, and I’m very disappointed they got rid of their buffet. Your video is very well done!

I’ve heard from another realtor my LO works close with - hint at this as well. Is it still a good time to sell? How are you reassuring your sellers? Do you think buyers still need to make crazy offers?
Hi Brittany thank you for watching and commenting! YES, it is still an amazing time to sell. I tell my sellers the truth, that real estate is like a cruise ship. It turns very slow, and luckily I believe we CAN spot the icebergs ahead if we pay attention. Of course, I believe the market is plenty strong enough to sell NOW. What I would not do is advise waiting until "selling season" in 2022, which is ordinarily Feb-March-April. Who knows where the ship will be at that point? I think buyers can make slightly less crazy offers than back in Feb-March-April. I'd advise my buyers to take it down about 20%-30% in intensity!
How do you measure affordability? Is there an index put out in Columbus?
Hi there so sorry for missing this! I would say that median income in Columbus for a household is 53K. These numbers just came out recently. Our median home price is now 229K at listing, 270K at sold prices! In my opinion once that passes a ratio of 4 it begins to get worrisome. Especially 5x. We are near or at that level now... past it for many homes. So... yes affordability compared to median income is not there. For this level median income median home price should be 210K or below.
