Is your shiseido the 213 or 215?
You are right that the shu uemura is more defined in the middle part of the curl, but the shisheido gets all your inner and outer lashes and looks great too. This really shows how being more deep set can give a more defined curl while being less curved allows a curler to curl more lashes. It really is just down to what type of look you prefer and it sounds like you like the shu uemura more 😊

All of the frumpy dresses looked old-fashioned and ordinary. All are ridiculously overdone for a Courthouse elopement wedding.

I'm sorry I didn't care for any of them on you. It's not you, it just appears the fabric is swallowing you. You're a beautiful young woman. Per chance, have you given thought to a tea-length or street-length dress? If those dress lengths are appealing to you then you could even make some minor alterations after the wedding and use the dress again. Just an idea.
Lol it did feel like that, but hopefully once altered & some heels on it won’t look like that 😅. I think I’ve decided on a A-line silhouette.

They all look beautiful. It just depends on your venue. The last one with the short capped sleeves & sparkly bodice is gorgeous. That's perfect for Las Vegas or a beach wedding, or even Mexico or Europe. It may be a little much for the court house.
