I mean no offense but I'm new to the gym and I was wondering if it's ok to do higher weight but not lift it all the way like your doing?

i recommend for arms not going to heavy. i like to go lighter and go til failure like shown in this video. higher intensity sets like (higher reps/dropsets/supersets) have done more effective growth for overall muscle development. if that’s answers your question
