Hi I have got the freebies via mail but it's not opening. Password is there?
Love this!
Happy 4th of July 🇺🇲🦅🎇🎆🎇❤️🤍💙
You are amazing ❤
Polar Express is kind of Hit or Miss. I love it because you know I grew up with it both the book and the movie however, with all the recent adaptations of picture books that have come out in the past 10 years, I respect polar Express for actually trying. It doesn't wink at the camera and and doesn't treat its audience like it's dumb Oh one more thing I forgot to put on my initial comment. That is like something the movie should have gotten Oscar for is soundtrack phenomenal and I'm not talking about the parts that are like a musical I'm talking about like the ambient background themes which are pretty timeless.
never got the spinner or the manipulative in the freebie sadly :-(
Are these activities would be appropriate for age 6-7
Sister Family would my first grab, but I like them all. Awesome list, thank you. I must subscribe 💐
Thanks for watching! I'm so glad you liked the list!
Which of these new May books are you going to grab first? There's so many great picture books to choose from!

Wonderful
I'm so glad it was helpful for you!

Suggest some stories for children below 1.5 years
Hi! The videos that I create are for elementary school teachers, but I bet there are other channels that have books for younger children. 😀
I teach Kindergarten and I think Total Solar Eclipse would be good.
Awesome! ☀️ 🌙
Which one of these solar eclipse children's books are you going to share in your classroom? Let us know in the comments!
Thank you
You're welcome! ☺️
Have you tried any of the AI story creation platforms like Nookly?
What books about recycling do you pull out for Earth Day? ♻
How can I access the free downloads? I am unable to find it in the description. There's a link to thecolorfulapple, but it didn't send anything to my account, when I sign up. Please help.
Hi! Sometimes they end up in spam or the promotions tab. If you don't see it, send me an email at [email protected] and I can get them to you!
The books listed in the dropdown does not match those you spoke about. I hit the "more button" and the list was completely different. my favorite would be Owl Moon; however, I have not read Hello Harvest Moon(but I am intrigued to look for and possibly share next year in my classroom). I know your membership is geared for Grades 2-4, however, could a 5th grade teacher(like myself) benefit from it? Thank you. Alicia from CT
Thank you for letting me know, Alicia! I just fixed it, so all the links match the video. I do recommend the book club for lower elementary. However, if you email me at [email protected], I can send you a sample lesson! Then you can decide if it will work for you.
Happy Women's History Month ♀️
Although not a St. Patricks Day story, "My Lucky Day" by Keiko Kasza, is a favorite of mine for the classroom.
Oh I'll have to check it out! ☘️ Thanks!
Thanks for including Moonlight Memories in this wonderful bunch!
It's a great book! 📚
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and tips, it's been very useful in preparing me for my interview 😊
Oh I'm so glad! Good luck! 🤞🏽
😍 *promo sm*
I lovevthis channel😊
Can you please make a video about Read Aloud Theatre? Thanks
You are NOT ALONE! I love sticky notes and agree wholeheartedly with your brand assessment.

I also found Leopold's Long Awaited Leap Year Birthday--a picture book by Dawn Desjardins
Ooo I'll have to check it out! Thank you!
Are you reading any Leap Year picture books on February 29th this year?
❤🎉🎉 love
Teaching students about wants vs. needs is tricky! These wants vs. needs picture books can help!
What is your Caldecott prediction for 2024?
I present to my students each year in library time the book, Mr. Wuffles, by David Wiesner. The students (and I) are intrigued by the pictures, the new language created by the aliens, and how the insects and the aliens learn to work together to outsmart Mr. Wuffles. Great read-aloud.
The printing portion was easy, it would be nice if you could post video on how to create a word etc. document that make sure that the word are perfect in each box when you print.
You can grab a free template here: thecolorfulapple.com/free-printable-post-it-note-template/ I hope that helps! :)
THANK YOU!!! I am actually starting opinion writing and these books are great. I do teach 5th grade, however I use a great deal of your resources and gear them for my grade level. I am truly interested in becoming a member to your book club would it be appropriate for my grade level? I use a ton of picture books and sometimes need some ideas. Please share your honest thoughts and "opinion"(no pun here).Love your videos. Alicia from CT
I'm so glad they are helpful Alicia! I LOVE that you are reading picture books with your 5th graders. The book club resources are targeted towards 2nd grade, however. I use 2nd grade standards and the activities are geared towards younger students. You can grab a free lesson here to see if it is a right fit for your students: thecolorfulapple.com/free-all-are-welcome-lesson/
thank you! im a storyteller performer, I write my own stories, but i always find it very hard to give a workshop storytelling for the kids. I'm so glad that it is helpful for you!
Which of these new picture books released in November 2023 are you going to read first??
I am going to teach the "Last Stop On Market Street" and "Invisible Boy". Great video and do you have any other suggestions besides the ones in the video?
Thank you for the recommendations! I put holds at my local library on whatever titles were available to pick up ASAP 😊
Yay!
