hi, professional software developer here. Litteraly everything you've said is wrong. Every foundation you've layed out and evey conclusion you've come to. None of what you have mentioned here in this video is a technical problem. It's totally possible to store all the data in the cloud without any of the issues you've raised such as duplication of pokemon... And its totally possible to implement cross platform online gameplay Switch, Gameboy Advance, and Advance SP. The question is just whether nintendo is gonna put the money into it. They likely wont because this would cause major code changes and there isnt enough benefit
Its a shame they did it one time on 3DS and will never do it again. Such a sick joke! The saddest part if cloud saves really were a duplication concern they could just mandate that you save the game before and after connecting to the online along with syncing that save data with the cloud immediately. Or, ya know, just disable the cloud saves for the Gameboy titles to or just don't let them communicate with Pokemon Home. I really do not agree cloud saves are at all a factor in why they won't give us the classic games. Cloud saves were not a big enough worry on 3DS and they certainly were not a worry for the Wii and WiiU cirtual consoles. Nintendo just doesn't want to. Pokemon is considered too valuable of an IP and they just want people playing the newest releases/remakes. Nothing more complex than that.

You obviously have not looked at some of his higher viewed videos if you think his "obnoxious voice" is the only reason the video has not been highly picked up by KZread's algorithm. I'm not saying there isn't actual legitimate criticisms to give to his content, but his voice is not one of them.

Despite some of the technical difficulties in the video, this makes me excited to see how far FPGA has come in arcade hardware. Building a Street Fighter arcade cabinet (or any other arcade game) out of a MisterCade sounds like a fun project and investment.

Just like there is. Dedicated M-17 N64 app i think they could make a Pokemon NSO App disabling cloud saves on it but also making a connectivity update that grants access to the ROM and SAV data from the NSO Pokemon app to work in pokemon stadiums 1 & 2

they could probably just remove the save state functionality from just the pokemon games (and maybe others) and maybe replace them with different games (game a, game b, game c, like that) as for the cloud, they could just not save the pokemon games specifically idk
With games getting the unofficial PC port treatment these days it'd be awesome if it happened for this game in particular, especially since it went ignored for the Castlevania Collection.

What would be even cooler is a rom hack that adds the Johto region to the original Red and Blue now that would be epic it would basically be Gold and Silver but with the original Red and Blue Kanto and not the Gen 2 version of Kanto which is empty and boring.

What I think GameFreak should do is go the Mega Man route and introduce a Pokémon Legacy Collection. This game can come with red, blue, yellow, gold, silver, and crystal, as well as Stadium 1 and 2 built into it. Pokémon Legacy Collection 2 can contain Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed, LeafGreen, Colosseum, and XD. Pokémon Legacy Collection 3 can have Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, SoulSilver, and Battle Revolution. Oh, and each of these collections can have ways to legitimately obtain mythical Pokémon. Maybe even extra features as well, like a solo run mode, to give the games a huge amount of replay value, and a sandox battle system, to allow players to just roleplay any battle scenario they want for the fun of it. This could allow GameFreak to re-release these games on any future Nintendo system they wanted, giving them easy income, and allowing us permanent easy access to these titles. But this won't happen. GameFreak doesn't want people to know how good the old Pokémon games were, because then consumers might actually demand that kind of quality in their new releases, and they can't have that, can they?
More tedious work of having to build stuff or create duplicates of something to just traverse an area. This isn't my idea of fun.

As glad as I am this is a new exciting upcoming Mario Party game, I wish there was another one titled Mario Party: Grand Masters. I imagine it having a feature similar to one in Mario Party 2.

Echo ability looks fun to use and breaks the boundaries of previous top down games. Also happy the ability is something new and not just giving Zelda a sword and magic. Just imagining the possible solutions to puzzles gets my brain buzzing.
It's definitely a first, where you actually play as the Princess herself. They really wanted to change things up and break the status quo here.

Time will tell if you’re fully wrong or only half-wrong depending on if it’s cross-platform. I can definitely see this being the Breath Of The Wild of the current console transition period and wouldn’t mind seeing this as a trend for every Nintendo console transition going forward.
