Hey, love the channel what a great pick up! Wish I had a contact like that 🤣 would put a lot more hours into my part time eBay store if I had! I’m going for a full set of Xbox 360, so would be interested in some from your stacks, if you do private sales?
Hi thanks for the comment. I am allways open to do private sales no problem at all, just let me know what your interested in!
This actually blows my mind. I am part time reselling along my full time job and a Toddler and have a few thousand but nothing like yours. Well done mate. I just source from charity shops and Vinted so it’s very slow but I don’t have the time for car boots unfortunately.
Id definatley say try a carboot, charity shops are so hit and miss and the price has gone up massivley.. another thing you could do to get your stock is join local facebook groups which give things away for free. Ive picked up consoles, tvs all sorts for free.
Love the videos mate keep them coming. I have a question, did you notice an uptick in sales when you went from a normal ebay account to a business account?
Not really noticed a massive increase yet
As someone jsut starting out, i like watching these videos.
@@bidgey welcome to the channel!

Hello Thanks for the video. Quick question how do you know if the games work fine on the console or do you test every game out before shipping?

@@Frazerflips Will do! Thanks once again matey!
Great video! Some other resellers I've watched recommend using four pictures at a minimum per listing for the ebay algorithm to increase the rank of the item in the search (for games I tend to do front, back, inside and spine). They also mention to try and use up as much of the 80 character count as possible as each keyword used will increase the chances of it being found by a search string e.g. if it was Silent Hill, my title would be: Silent Hill PS1 complete Sony Playstation game horror Konami gaming rare scary (78 characters). Have you tested either of these against your current methods? If you have, have you found any difference in impressions, click through rate and conversion rate? Have you considered trying to sell off the big bundle through Whatnot?
I havent tried but if my title is short i will add good condition fully complete free uk post etc that takes alot of title space up, as for photos, ive started doing 4 or 5 now and i have seen an increase in sales so definatley is an algarythm! Never really though of whatnot yet, i might give it a go as some youtubers i watch are making a few hundered per show.
@@Frazerflips for titles they said to think about what keywords a customer would likely type in. I used to add the condition in the title but then asked myself if I’ve ever written very good condition when searching myself so I changed the keywords I used. I found adding same day dispatch helped even though I’ve never written it myself.
@@MF-zh4ig brilliant cheers i will try that!
Keep up the good work. A few points from someone that's been selling for 10+ years on eBay across multiple accounts... You will be better off using a business account, as you are operating as a business. Not only does having a private account go against the TOS so you do run that risk of closure, you will benefit from better visibility in search results, have access to premium seller badges and become a top rated seller. Also, eBay regularly offer business sellers discounted sale periods, between 10-20% where eBay take some of that percentage themselves. For example I'm signed up to a 10% off 3 day sale period in August, but 40% of the 10% reduction is covered by eBay, so the actual discount you're responsible for is less. Items on sale have better visibility too. The first three words on each listing are the most important, so you're doing a good job mentioning the game straight away! Also, three images as a minimum, which you're doing and that's good. Being active is also very important. An active store with frequent listings keeps everything ticking over. If you have a drought in new stock or are expecting such, schedule listings to go live over a time period. 10 listings in one day and nothing for the next 9 is worse than one listing each day for those 10 days. In addition to this, listings go stale overtime. New listings get a fresh lease of life, people see them in the newest first filter etc. If you have a listing that gets over 90 days old, without any sales your best bet is to end, and re-list the listing. This will give you a better chance at selling the product. Customer feedback is very important! Depending on what you sell, your reviews may take a hit. Some products are more likely to complaints than others, but always take the comments on board to improve, whether it's change of courier, postage or simply improving communication (such as setting up an automated reply if you know you're going to be away, or only have access to reply in the evenings for example). Good luck with your future sales, just remember to keep track of everything and pay your taxes
Appriciate the lovely comment and feedback. I will be upgrading my ebay soon to a business. Thank you for tips too! Will tKw this on board!
always cool to see how others manage their businesses haha way more organised than mine
Improve your titles and you will See a big difference in sales
Yeah more descriptive your titles the better!
Is there a reason you don't list from the app? Saves the time downloading the images.
@@Samtaclause If It's just one item ill do the app but i find it quicker to do bulk on a pc
@Frazerflips makes sense, I like to use the app personally. I barcode scan the game, sell similar, take 4-5 pictures and list. Il have to give this method a go.

What are you using for postage? Just the royal mail qr codes via Ebay?
I use royal mail through eBay, if you do post 20 things a week through royal mail you can apply for a business account and get cheaper rates/
Whats your ebay store name please
Ebay store is in the description!
where do you find these deals
Met this contact from a gumtree pickup, then got chatting. Youd be surprised how many contacts ive made over 6 months simply asking, do you have any more for sale?
What are those little stands you use to put your games on with your listings please? They look really cool.
I cant remember which one I bought, but if you search "Acrylic Game/DVD Display Stand" you should find some similar results. Only cost me 5 or 6 quid.
@@Frazerflips Thank you
I tried cleaning a PS3 game once on a JFJ....Not a good idea lol
With blu ray disks you have to be very careful, i only do 10 or 20 seconds on the jfj if that, the JFJ is pure brute force.
Considered adding an outro to the video? Adds 30 seconds run time to the video and allows you to put up a video people can click next and a logo for the channel people can click to subscribe. We do it on our other channel, @dailywrestling
Hi yeah not got round to making one, do you know or could you make one potentially?
Need an intro too!
Would love a video of you showing how you’re listing, me listing 80 items would take about 20 hours!!!
Coming soon! I'm filming a video today seeing how many listings i can do in a day!
For sure do a 9 month and 12 month video bud. Subscribed to see how ya get on!
What’s your reasoning behind not charging for postage? You’re not at the level of KZread revenue yet right? Any sponsor offers?
I offer free postage to entice people to buy, i worked out i x 4 profit on the games i buy anyway if i set at 4.95 even so all good! Even 1.50 profit per game if you sell enough adds up!!
Postage is just built into the sale price anyway. It's either £6.99 or £5+£1.99 postage you end up with the same. It catches those people that select free postage when searching for things. There's always pros and cons. Sometimes things look more expensive than it does with separated cost but people search cheapest total price. You can also get away with not doing combined postage discounts since it's already "free"
Gran turismo 2002 did you sell that yet? Not an expensive game but i have the platinum version and id prefer the normal copy

That's some cool finds on the games. Found my first Pokemon game of the year and got well excited for it haha
Its really exciting when you find a high value item and the person asks a quid for it! I cant believe i got 2 gamecube games plus 5 pokemon games for under a tenner!
Enjoying the videos. Do you think you make more money through selling games now or other items?
I find games easier to source and stock, I can have 500 odd games on one small shelf, where the Random items i sell i might have 20 items on the same size shelf, so I think for me Games are easier to shift and sell
@@Frazerflips Just ordered myself a new JFJ machine. Bloody things are so expensive.
Keep up the grind dude. If you are unable to test a game, how do you position the sell on eBay? Do you mark it as untested etc and then cut the price to reflect?
If its an expensive game i will usually have a pile for testing, sometimes my brother comes over for a hour amd tests them all. If the game isnt high in value lile 4.95 ill put on ebay and put in description game is untested.
@@Frazerflips thanks dude but what I mean is what if you don't have the console to test the game ?
@@nathrjl5274 Tbh I have a testing console of each at home, so I have a ps4/xbox one/xbox 360/ Ps3/Ps2/Ps1/ Wii Etc. I can test 95% of the Games its only if i get something like sega stuff etc It can be tricky but as long as your clear in your listings you should be fine.

I highly appriciate your grind, but can I just ask. Wouldn't you have made the same if not more. If you just worked a full time job instead, or if you do that already. Just working overtime. 10000 gain in a year, just seems to be so much effort. For basically scraps.
HI so I actually work full time, this is a side hustle. So its all extra income. I eventually want to do this full time however I'm not at that scale of the business yet.
this is bonus for him, plus it keeps you occupied from the mundane get up and go to work routine. it's a little excitement, i can't blame him.
what job do you do. sorry to ask.
@@Supraboyes Keeps me busy yeah I work through the week doing forklifting so very mundane indeed! I love reselling the thrill of finding something is the best bit!
man I wiish I could source that much volume and having some dent titles with less repeats for those insanely cheap prices. I just started reselling about 3 months ago and it started off really well but the last two months sells have just bottomed out. Even garage sells in my area have been slim. Just not sure what else to do.
@@TheN3llee hi mate, we all have rough months just stick at it. Honestly the more you buy the more you know what price you can sell for. I slent about a hour a day browsing at different times of day on fb marketplace, gumtree, even a few mins on vinted. Just stick at it. Carboots first thing in the morning helped me alot when starting out. Get there flr 530/6am as people setting up to get best deals.
Nice going, I did this for 2 years after covid (was made redundant). At first I was making smaller amounts but learned so much! That was key learning how and what to find best. My biggest month was spending 8 grand on stuff to resell I had bought it really kicked off. In the end I started slowing down as I found things tough when my son was born, partner was home with the baby and I was busy being a parent half the time. I knocked it on the head after the second year, paid my taxes etc but with the money I made (after my bills) i still bought things i found as a hobby for my own collection that I knew would add value, more of a hobby now as I'm back working for a company. My partner gets fed up of my massive collection of Nintendo items in the house lol but they are worth a fortune! I do miss it so much though, it paid my bills and also got my own massive collection for the future I guess.
@@Clarke2316 thats sounds great! I dont really collect. I know alot of resellers do make money to make there collection better. Ive really got the bug hard for this reselling stuff, but im single, have alot of time to invest so it keeps me busy! I think ill allways do reselling
Good luck it's tough
tell her in time they will be worth a mint more than now, it's a retirement package keep them. Back in 1999 i bought panzer dragoon saga for £19.99... best investment yet along with a 93 Supra that i bought for 6k in 2009. panzer going for £600 and the non turbo supra 20k, and i'm still holding.
Do you disk clean all your games?
Hi, so i visually check the games and 30-40% wont need any cleaning, some only need a few seconds just wipe over and some need the full treatment.

so ebay and postage fees really take a huge chunk, how many hours have you put into that as well
Id probably say 2 to 3 hours a day some days 4 or 5 however ive had 2 weeks off this year plus a few days ive done nothing.
The way your going you will have hit your target by the 9 month mark, depending on stock levels you might hit 10k in one month in December.
nice!!! keep grinding my dude :D your doing well
Cause your doing this part time u getting taxed cause your making that sort of money a month

Are you using Royal Mail? I average 5 sales per day in games but spending £1.90 post per game (large letter)...just wondering if I am missing a trick somewhere
Hi so royal mail is 1.9 for 100-250g which is most games and manual, however of your sending minimum 20 a week u can sign up for royal mail business account and get cheaper rates. I dont do this as you have to go to a post office i believe to sort out orders i have too many.
@@Frazerflips i have shipped 19 orders over yesterday and today and i must admit...standing in the post office sending them all is becoming unrealistic.
Honestly i even print my own labels (label printer is a must) and even then if there a 5 quid game half time ill just throw it in post box. Unless the game is of value and i want tracking etc
Just a small tip, if you send more then 25 parcels a week, and print your own labels then sign up to Royal Mail account, worth it for the collections alone. They pick up daily from me.
@@JasonOsgood-jf2xz Don't know if you know, but you can do it online and the postie will come pick them up, they'll even bring the stickers. It's a lot quicker and no need for a post office.

Thank you for the video. We started 3 months ago, with the aim of going full time in 2025. Which software do you use, to list sales & stock please? Thanks
Hi so i keep track of all my sales using google spreadsheets, its basic but does the Job. As for selling i use ebay and vinted. There both good for different reasons.
Class mate, what makes you list on Vinted vs Ebay? Especially when Vinted doesn't have seller fees?
Some things like consoles you can sell alot faster on vinted, sometimes if its a rare item ill put on both as well. Ebays bread and butter have a few hundered listings. Vinted i do things to ship fast
If you are new to my channel and just coming across this video please check out the new updated video, where I show you 6 months of earnings on EBAY!

Since this video 2 months ago fed ex have slightly changed the supplies, you cam still get free shipping supplies but you have to semd a few things through them first, think its because everyone was claiming shed loads of shipping supplies and not sending through them.
only a few games there then mate :P

Appriciate the lovely comment Mike, definatley pushing to do this full time, hard work pays off!
I have some questions , how much long will the creams they give you last like how many discs can you do before the creams or liquids run out if you put only a little bit on each disc and also where else can i get the the second cream from
so usually I buy the Halfords compound which is 14 quid and a 1 litre bottle. I use 2 to 3 small dollops on the pad per disc, id say you can get 250-300 discs if your careful. some disc obviously require more solution than others, but its one of those things you get use to over time. So the Meguiars compound is amazon/ Halfords 14 quid a bottle. The white solution I get from a ebayer aldazsupplies, its abit more pricier than the amazon alternative but its slightly better.
I find it impossible to sell games and dvds. Big companies sell them for less than postage!!
its competitive, but usually adding a free postage and promoting listing 2%, and adding some good photos really does help increase the sales. Also, occasionally I do 10% of everything on my store.
Mine arrived yesterday, god send as I had about 80 games which were sat as dead stock. Blu ray still not very pleased with the results on PS3 and Xbox one....any tips?
Hi mate, To be honest with xbox one and Ps3 disks, most I buy seem to be good condition because they are blu ray discs. I would definatley avoid using the "sanded pads" on these, I would just do 20 seconds with alot of compound seems to do the trick
