Just a question, I have a 2010 2wd DC Tundra and I want to purchase this lift with the front struts, again I have a 2wd tundra and RC states the front shocks do not fit 2wd models. From what i see here everything looks to be identical to 2wd models. My question is, If I purchase this kit (RC 3.5 w/ Front Lifted Struts) will it fit? From what I know already everything in the rear is identical no problems there, but I don't want to purchase this kit with only new rear shocks. The Tundra I own Has 140K Miles and is due for a nice upgrade. Thanks in advance.
The fuse location used will prevent the lid from closing. Should have used the 7.5 fuse up top or the headlight fuse.
Look for more or less as close to stock replacement as possible under $400. This seems like it'd maybe be a little too loud for my tastes (and would worry a bit about droning on long drives?). I have a Mustang Mach 1 if I want something noisy, 2007 4Runner is my daily.
the biggest tire you can fit is about 1" bigger since thats all the room you have in the spare wheel storage area unless you move the spare to the bed or onto a rack. will suck to go out wheeling and destroy a tire and then have a smaller spare to put on.
The stock air box is more than sufficient, I just swapped out the stock filter for an AFE dry high flow filter. Cold air intake is a waste of money
I have a 2024 trd sport with stock 18 inch wheels do u think the 285 would still work well with out rubbing
I installed the passenger side first to familiarize myself with the general steps. Then I tackled the driver side, and it wasn't that bad at all. One thing of note, was a small issue with one of the welded backplate nuts interfering slightly with the metal brake lines. In order to minimize the contact, I cut down the bolt, so that it would not stick out above the welded backplate nut, and I shifted the brake lines in their plastic holders towards the back of the vehicle (there was enough leeway to minimize the contact with the nut to almost nothing). I am still thinking about a way to further isolate one of those brake lines from the welded nut, so that there is zero chance of contact due to vibration in off road conditions. Ideas would be welcome, if any of you guys can suggest something.
All this to not let us hear how it sounds!?!?

It’s nice but will I get $1,000 fine in NY state?
Cannot believe people are still buying these $1000 exhaust systems for our trucks. Go to a muffler shop. Have them remove the stock muffler and weld in a Y-Pipe and run a straight pipe. Costed me $80 in March of this year (2024). Blows this as well as all other expensive exhausts out of the water as far as sound goes. Very deep growl and can be heard from down the road!

Is there a video on the turn signal adapter? I have to depin/repin the adapter to allow my turn signals and hazards to work for my 2014, but I can't seem to get the pins removed with any tools. Probably something easy, just not sure why it won't release and I don't want to break it. Thanks.

What are the dimensions of the muffler inlet and outlet?
What is the length of the board ?
Is this a how not to install upper control arms??? Suspension should have the vehicle's weight on it before torqueing down the the upper control arm bolt nuts, especially when it incorporates oem style rubber bushings, which are not free floating.
