  Same here - Love Sculpture at Loughborough University - just 3 in the band - they were LOUD, one of the few bands that hurt my ears when I was watching ! They also did a very good version of The Beatles' "A Day in the Life" as I remember.

  It's strange to see a lot of these Old Gibson Guitarists using Strats nowadays. Dave Edmunds, Pete Townshend, Andy Latimer to name a few. Epic Performance👍

  A standard Strat weighs about 1-1.5 kilos (around 2 to 3 1/2 pounds) less than a standard Les Paul, which may be one of the reasons.
