The 2019 is much better for sure but has that VW look to it 2018 looks much better, and the technology in it is still extremely good

Hopefully the 2019 is really better than my 18 money pit. I’ve had to replace front rotors and brakes at 15k miles at my cost - rotors warped. The limp mode problem was a loose spark plug wire the first time according to dealer. Limp mode at 24k miles was supposedly bad gas, $1,200 to flush fuel tank, lines an replace new plugs. My state USDA went and tested gas tanks where we last fueled up, all ok. Water pump was bad and replaced, plus stereo console had to be replaced because volume switch quit working , both are known faults according to dealer mechanic. At least the warranty covered these two 11/21 just before my warranty expired. Getting into rear seats is uncomfortable, especially for taller people. I’ve also had to replace all tires at 20k due to cut tire. You can’t just replace one on all wheel drive. The one plus is great gas mileage on the highway 32-34 mpg and engine performance power. I bought it for my wife and I told her to trade it in if something else breaks. 😢

I have three Audis... B8 A4, B9 SQ5 & big turbo RS3 and even I see how stupid this add is. Although quattro is great it really boils down to tires. My Audi with all seasons will take twice as long to stop as my Audi with winter tires... with that being said #TeamAMG

Apparently, if you switch off an RWD car’s engine in snowy conditions, and pitch it against a running Audi with Quattro, the advantages are even more pronounced! What a joke of a comparison this video is - only makes Audis look like a fraud, which is a massive shame!

This ad is misleading and borderline a scam. If you compare a RW/FW drive Audi with summer tyres it will preform exactly the same. A fair test would be a AWD Lexus/Mercedes with winter tyres. It’s like a grown man challenging another grown mans 5 year old son to a strength competition, the right thing to do would be to challenge the other grown man and not the son.
Interesting the germans went with "Quattro" , which is spanish. I guess "Vier", 4 in german, doesnt sound as nice.

What a ridiculous comparison video. Two RWD cars against an Audi Quattro. I’m not sure how good Lexus AWD system is but my Mercedes E350 4matic never gives me a problem like that. I been driving Mercedes 4matic for 15 years and I never got stuck anywhere ever. Stupid video!!

So you compare two RWD cars on summer tires and floor it in them again an AWD A3 on snow tires which is really FWD biased HALDEX so not really "True" QUATTRO and you ease off the line as well. Truth of the matter is if all three were AWD with snow tires, they would be the same off the line. The real difference is how they dynamically handle in the snow while cruising. IMO proper QUATTRO with decent tires will handle better in the snow then its competitors and the only system that can truly go shot for shot with AUDI is Subaru's Symmetrical AWD.
This is so stupid, besides the tyre difference, the drivers don't know what they are doing, if you drive a powerful, RWD, manual car, turn TC off, you can make crazy good progress just by keeping the back wheels spinning. I get around my hilly city in the snow, in my BMW, on summer tyres.
