I have this guitar! It is basically brand new. I’ve played it maybe 3 times and it held tune perfectly. Using the tremolo arm for vibrato did not knock it out of tune in the slightest, and when a string does finally go out of tune, I can tune it without it throwing every other string out of tune. However I was practicing faux slide techniques on it today (I’m on a Jimmy Herring kick currently) and it was very quickly getting my guitar out of tune. I noticed how far you have to push down on the tremolo arm to go a half step flat and it has me wondering if it is the right guitar for faux slide? I have never played a guitar with a whammy bar. I’m 32 and played guitar since the 6th grade. I do have an American fender Strat I never play bc I can’t get it in tune and it drives me nuts, as a casual player, to deal with that. So I am very inexperienced with tremolo arms and wonder if anyone has any insight as to why faux slide techniques puts me out of tune. String stretching due to the guitar being pretty lightly played before trying to do whammy licks on it?

It's interesting to see how each builder takes on their relic work. When done right that broken in feel can be magic! We're a big fan of how Paoletti does it. Part artistic, part authentic, and the wood has a cool contrast against the metal pickguards and hardware. Thanks for checking them out!

Hey, does the attenuator on the royalist allow you to play in an apartment? While maintaining the identity and depth of the amp? Thank you very much
@Distinctiveguitar2 ай бұрын
The attenuators in these are awesome. They definitely retain all that tube saturation at a much more reasonable volume. Cleans and light gain are perfect for apartment playing, but if you're driving it really hard for heavier crunch the 40 watts is still decently loud even with the attenuator set to full.
