Bradley is serving very well in Ukraine and destroying many Russian vehicles of all sizes. It also wrecked iraqi armour in the gulf war. The generals here were completely right. Being large and conspicuous doesn’t matter in the era of drone warfare and satellite reconnaissance. See how the Russians who made low-profile vehicles have increased those profiles by many feet with anti-drone cope cages.

I used to fell for this kind of criticizm. The Bradley proved to ve very effective in combat and also the F-35 seems to be a very good fighter jet. Of course US military spends money sometimes in inefficient things and there is corruption, but ny nature, in every military it is line this. The decisions done by leaders are always far away from perfect.

Along with the many other things this movie gets wrong, one thing I've not seen mentioned is the original cost (that they probably made up, shocker) of $1.5 million per vehicle. That was in 1968, which is equivalent to $13.5 million in 2024. That's more than the price of an M1 Abrams. So yeah, not really a "bargain".

And the Kontakt dynamic protection units exploded. The guys calmly drove away from the fire, but because of the broken rotating turret they crashed into a tree. They calmly left the car. The tank remained there. Whole. You can search for photos and videos. In Ukraine, Bradleys are burned in batches every day. The film is completely true. This is an easy target.
