  This is my absolute favorite place to eat in LA. This place is the perfect example of looks being deceiving. The aroma of this food is very seductive and the taste is amazing! The Goat plate is the best! If you like goat or have never tried it this place is a must try!

  "Violent gentrification"?? Give me a break. There are many neighborhoods across Los Angeles where Hispanics pushed out Jews, Japanese, Whites and Blacks completely transforming those neighborhoods. Funny how it's only a bad thing when Whitey changes the demographics. The Highland Park Avenues gang was one of the most notorious gangs in Los Angeles and harassed attacked and even murdered Black people in an attempt to rid them from the neighborhood. Many of the gang were sent to jail for hate crimes and racketeering. Many just went "underground". Having clueless Hipsters roaming the streets seems like a small price to pay for safer streets, thriving businesses etc... seems like an improvement and the exact opposite of violent gentrification. Neighborhoods are constantly evolving/changing and no one owns them. LA Taco really needs to go back to just reviewing tacos because their attempts at "journalism" always favors one group first and one group last and I'll let you guess who that is....
