Hi @aminash, i have query regarding cert renewal on secure+. While renewing the cert also we need to follow the same steps majority remote node step!! And also we need to copy the renewed cert on both source and destination hosts? Please confirm it is urgent requirement..

I'm an intern at a company that uses IBM SCD, but we don't know how to use this tool that well, so we hired third-party company to help us by giving us support and consulting us through out our file transfers. I was just introduced to this new task (mediating) this third-party and our company transfers. Do you have any suggestions on what I should learn in order to eventually not need this third-party company anymore? Meaning in order for me to learn all I need to help my company transfer its files securely and with all the tools that IBM SCD has to offer? recently I am trying to install C;D and found this channel, it helps a lot. at least I can install C:D server from scratch.(previous always fail) these video is for transfer file to another C:D , does it required to install Secure + or file agent first? or just C:D server+client is enough?

Hello, Connect Direct is a stable software and is currently used by many enterprises. However, it is not the only knowledge you can survive with. Moreover, there are other competitive products in the market that small entrises opt for instead to keep their costs low. You can get into Connect Direct with no prerequisite as such.

NDM aka Connect:Direct has a more controlled way of transferring files, plus it can compress packets on the go to save you bandwidth, encrypt them to ensure security and then there's a resume option in case your file transfer gets interrupted which is innate to the application, unlike ftp which is client-managed
