  Haven't had good luck with external pumps. Seems after driving an hour it starts dropping pressure and pump sound like it's staving. Running 8an lines

  This may be a very obvious question so I apologize, but when doing an external set up, would I remove the pump out of my in tank hanger assembly? I’m having a difficult time understanding how to make this work using a stock fuel tank

  You don't need both. If the vehicle you're swapping is already fuel injected, you have nearly everything you already need in place. My opinion is the in-tank pump is superior to an external in most cases...it will run cooler, quieter, and last longer. You may only need to swap out the stock pump for one that delivers more fuel depending on the vehicle. What vehicle are you working with?

  @@BLVCKFLAGD I’ve got a 1993 Mustang with the 2.3l engine currently. I’m going to be using a gen 3 lm7, just a cam, springs, and headers kinda like your set up. What I saw my dad do on his ls swap (93 OBS Chevy truck with a 6.0) was to use an old Monte Carlo fuel pump and put that into his in tank hanger assembly. That pump makes a bit over 60 psi though

  Alright maybe I'll get a response from someone on here I'm LS swapping a 94 ranger. I'm wanting to keep the original fuel tank my question is can I just add a walbro Inline fuel pump in sequence with the ranger fuel pump? (Can I just wire them on the same circuit)

  Since your ranger is already fuel injected, just use an in-tank pump. I would guess the stock pump won't flow enough so just swap it out for one that will. It will probably work with the stock pickup and wiring with little or no modification.

  I'm using the stock truck stuff. Depending on the motor mounts it may or may not work for you. Alternator probably wouldn't fit if I didn't have a cowl hood. There are smaller parts store pulleys you can get for the power steering pump if frame clearance is an issue.

  I just bought a 73 Chevelle, The 3rd Gen Malibu's have always been my favorite body style was a child of the 70's, born in 72, and these Mid-late 70's cars were the new cars and everywhere in my childhood, My grandparents had a V-6 malibu 4 door (don't remember what year) when I was a kid and my High School Sweetheart had a 75 Malibu. I've always had a weak spot for the Mid-late 70's Muscle cars, owned several in the past, mostly Nova's, Dusters, Volare's and Cougars as Daily Drivers, My 73 has the 307 with the 350 Auto trans, which is just fine for me, I'm going to just fix what needs fixing, throw some dog dish hub caps on the wheels after I sand blast and paint them and just drive it and have fun with it. People need to realize that buying and building a Muscle Car on the Cheap is still VERY doable, I paid $3500 for my Malibu and drove it home, even after a complete go through of the car with new seals, gaskets and bearings plus cleaning everything up and rattle canning the Suspension parts and the engine I'm going to be going to be looking at an ALL IN budget of 7-8k, that's REALLY good money for a 70's Muscle car.

  I had some critics recently telling me that I shouldn’t use aeroquip push lock hose in my car ,how long do have you ran this hose safely? Thanks for the info

  It's been on there for over 3 years with zero issues. The hose itself is pretty stout...much more substantial than the rubber fuel injection hose you'd get at a parts store. Fittings are nice and tight with no leaks. They don't budge unless you cut them out.

  You can wire it up to key on hot source. Preferably use your key on 12v to trigger a relay going to the battery for the fuel pump.

  sbc trans will bolt right up to an ls, but it's the flywheel spacing that's tricky. I don't have part numbers but I know its a matter of using the correct flywheel clutch setup.

  Im an asshole so im gonna say the cherry bombs (glass packs) thats what i run on all my LS swaps and they set of car alarms left and right…just idling by at that….but they are not too obnoxious and asking for trouble like straight header and provide just enough back pressure to be considered a performance muffler
