    My reason for believing he lives, is because I know he lives because I asked him to reveal himself to me if it is true and he did, that's all you half to do... if you ask him to revel himself to you sincerely in your hart, he will do just that ....

    Some notable points from 2 of Ravi Zacharias’ “Why is Christianity true?” KZread videos, including this one: 1. “A worldview is built around 4 questions, origin, meaning, morality and destiny. There are 3 tests for truth, logical consistency, empirical adequacy, and experiential relevance.” 2. “Only in the Judeo-Christian worldview are these 4 questions answered with corresponding truthfulness and coherence of a worldview.” 3. “All religions are not the same, they are fundamentally different and at best superficially similar, different because of the uniqueness and exclusivity of Jesus’ claims, the embrace He gives to all humanity, the perfection of His life, the purity of his life, and His death AND resurrection” (all other religious leaders and prophets have only died, none were ever resurrected and in particular, resurrected physically/bodily never to die again; Christ’s resurrection gives His followers assurance and hope of one day being resurrected like Him and living with Him in Heaven and on the new earth). 4. “The Quran is the only Historically claimed document that denies that Jesus was crucified or died on the cross; Greek, Roman, Pagan, Jewish, and Christian historians say He WAS crucified on a cross.” 5. “Truth by definition is exclusive. Buddhism, Hinduism and other religions either claim exclusivity or have it built in but in the person of Christ you see the DEMONSTRATION in His birth, life, death, and resurrection; this coherent demonstration proves He is who He says He is; take for example, the PROPHECY of Christ’s virgin birth hundreds of years before it happened, the UNMATCHED PURITY of His life, the death HE PROMISED for the forgiveness of our sins, and then the RESURRECTION He promised,” all 4 aspects cohere which should convince us that He was telling the truth that He is God the son, that He can forgive sins, and that He is the only path to God the father who He is equal with aka a part of the Trinity etc.

    I think Ravi misses out a huge part of it. Everything you said there is true but the CORE of why Christianity is different is missing from the points you have listed. Christianity is different because of the GOSPEL. What is the Gospel? Well the guy asked why is Christianity different since we have to keep a certain set of rules to get to heaven? Firstly, the premise of his question is WRONG! In Christianity, keeping rules or being moral doesn't save us. Apostle Paul said we are not saved by our our good works but by our faith in the blood of Christ. No amount of good works we do can give us righteousness because we are dead spiritually and we need to be born again through the blood of Jesus Christ. Jesus said that we are born again when we put trust in His blood 100% instead of our works. According to the bible, we are all born sinner because we inherited adam sin and we can only become righteous when we believe in the blood of Jesus Christ. Our good works have NOTHING to do with obtaining salvation. We must come to the end of ourselves, believe we are sinners and put our trust in the SAVIOUR.

    Quran Surah al-imran verse 26 26. Say (O Muhammad ): “O Allah! Possessor of the kingdom, You give the kingdom to whom You will, and You take the kingdom from whom You will, and You endue with honour whom You will, and You humiliate whom You will. In Your Hand is the good. Verily, You are Able to do all things. Quran Exegesis on Surah al-imran verse 26 by Ibn Kathir meaning, You are the Giver, You are the Taker, it is Your will that occurs and whatever You do not will, does not occur. This Ayah encourages thanking Allah for the favors He granted His Messenger and his Ummah. Allah transferred the Prophethood from the Children of Israel to the Arab, Qurashi, Makkan, unlettered Prophet, the Final and Last of all Prophets and the Messenger of Allah to all mankind and Jinn. Allah endowed the Prophet with the best of qualities from the prophets before him. Allah also granted him extra qualities that no other Prophet or Messenger before him was endowed with, such as granting him (more) knowledge of Allah and His Law, knowledge of more of the matters of the past and the future, such as what will occur in the Hereafter. Allah allowed Muhammad's Ummah to reach the eastern and western parts of the world and gave dominance to his religion and Law over all other religions and laws. May Allah's peace and blessings be on the Prophet until the Day of Judgment, and as long as the day and night succeed each other. [email protected]

  • @jesuslovesyou1921
    @jesuslovesyou19212 жыл бұрын

    According to scripture Jesus said once we are born again, He becomes our Sabbath rest for our souls. So a Christian's sabbath is everyday when they are born again because Jesus lives within them. So don’t let anyone condemn you for what you eat or drink, or for not celebrating certain holy days or new moon ceremonies or Sabbaths. For these rules are only shadows of the reality yet to come. And Christ himself is that reality. Colossians 2:16‭-‬17 Are you born again and have you received the gift of Salvation?

    @@jesuslovesyou1921 you didn’t answer my question. He said in the video that the Sabbath Day was changed from the 7th day of the week to the First Day. Where is that found in scripture? Also, the fact that we find rest in Gods anointed one and salvation, doesn’t mean the 10 commandments are null and void.

    "What can account for that" Something natural? With no evidence of anything supernatural every happening, why would the most likely situation be magic? Ideas can boom and spread quickly. Not only is this not uncommon, but it's an every-day occurrence. Why in anyone's sane mind would the default be 'supernatural' instead of the common spreading of compatible ideas? This is just personal incredulity; "I don't know what could have caused it, so god".

    These revelations regarding Ravi Zacharias' behavior and conduct are shocking for many people and some still can't believe it. Yes, it's very difficult to comprehend how someone who presented himself as Christian leader and a role model could do such thing and I understand why this is so hard to process. But I've seen a lot of commenters who are starting to come to grips with what he did and are now making excuses for Ravi's behavior (similar to what I've seen happen with other pastors and others held in high esteem) saying that everybody sins and nobody is perfect. While that is true, they're missing the point. Ravi Zacharias held himself up as a person of God, a Christian teacher and leader and a moral authority. He put himself into that position. And he profited off of it, making millions of dollars off of book sales and speaking engagements around the world. But from what this investigation has revealed, he was engaging in reprehensible moral conduct for many years! Complicating matters even more, in this video he had the nerve to talk about temptation and how to overcome it when he himself couldn't overcome temptation. Because of his particular role in the church, he needed to be held to a higher standard, just the same as a judge or any person in authority is expected to live up to the law. What kind of judge sentences people to jail for drunk driving and then repeatedly drives drunk himself? He would be removed from the bench. So of course We expect judges to not only uphold the law, but to follow the law themselves. Likewise, we expect pastors like Ravi Zacharias to not necessarily be perfect or sinless, but to at least not be blatant hypocrites who regularly give in to their sinful desires. Yes, pastors, bishops and others in similar positions need to be held to a higher standard. Honestly, it would have been better if Ravi Zacharias never became a pastor, started a religious organization or went in front of the world to show off his knowledge and get into debates with people he disagreed with, especially atheists. He has brought Christianity into disrepute like has happened so many times throughout the years. What makes this especially aggregious is that he was known as one of the world's foremost apologists for Christianity, but was essentially living a lie. Heck, before he died he was exposed for exaggerating and even lying about some of his academic credentials and his organization had to issue a statement about his "biography," which you can find on the RZIM website. Did he even believe what he taught and preached? It's hard to say but a lot of credibility he brought to the table has gone out the window.

    What is grace? From G5463; graciousness (as gratifying), of manner or act (abstract or concrete; literal, figurative or spiritual; especially the divine influence upon the heart, and its reflection in the life; including gratitude): - acceptable, benefit, favour, gift, grace (-ious), joy liberality, pleasure, thank (-s, -worthy). How do we receive grace? Faith accesses grace! Rom 5:2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Saved through “Faith” accesses His grace! Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: The grace of God teaches us to walk in righteousness! Tit 2:11 For the grace of God that brings salvation hath appeared to all men, Tit 2:12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Tit 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ; Tit 2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. Tit 2:15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee. So “Faith” is “Not Sinning”! Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world What is Sin? 1Jn 3:4 Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. Does a person have TRUTH (JESUS) if they don’t “Keep His Commandments”? 1Jn 2:4 He that says, I know him, and keeps not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. Joh 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. The Law is not about salvation, it's how we show our love to God and others by "Keeping His Commandments"! 1Jn 5:2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. 1Jn 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and His commandments are not grievous.

    Jesus told Christians to pray for God's Kingdom to come and for His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. God's Kingdom is a heavenly government ruled by Jesus Christ as King, Isaiah 9:6,7; Luke 1:31-33. Soon Jesus as King of kings will bring beautiful changes to the earth. There will be no more death, pain or sorrow on earth, Revelation 21:4,5. No more wickedness on earth, Psalms 37:9-11; John 3:16. The righteous hearted meek ones will inherit the earth and live forever on it, Psalms 37:29, Matthew 5:5; Proverbs 2:21,22. The earth will be cultivated into a Paradise like God intended in the beginning, Genesis 1:28; Isaiah 55:11. Jesus will do on a grand scale what he did when he walked the earth including raising those who are asleep in death, John 5:28,29. There will only be one government over the entire earth, God's Kingdom government, Daniel 2:44. Jesus said that this good news of the Kingdom would be preached about in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come, Matthew 24:14. Jesus taught his disciples how to accomplish the preaching of the good news, Acts 20:20; Acts 5:42. Who are following the same instructions that Jesus gave the first century Christians? How will you respond to the good news? John 4:22-24; John 17:3; Isaiah 42:8. Do you believe God's Word? Isaiah 55:11. Do you have questions about God's Kingdom government or His purpose for the earth?
