Hi everyone welcome to our channel as we build the channel it will consist of videos of our holidays abroad hotel reviews, which will be set around couples and families, giving as much information as possible on the reviews we do. The reviews will not be based on the cheapest flights our cheap accommodation the reviews will range from 3 star up to 5 star apartments and hotels. Also walk about tours of the holiday resorts we stay in. Stayed there in April 2024 on my own. Nice hotel, rooms ok but too big and impersonal. Never saw the same staff twice. Restaurant like a canteen. Convenient for promenade but I thought that it was just like Blackpool with sun. Not impressed with Costa Adeje. Big manufactured resort.

Is it worth it for the royal. I'm going this year. I've booked all inclusive but after booking I found I you have more access to the hotel if you spend more (on the royal) will it ruin my experience if I just stayed with all inclusive?
Hi Dylan good question 👍 I would not say it would ruin your holiday as the hotel is fantastic however upgrading to the royal level as you rightly say does give you certain perks. It’s not so much more access to the hotel but it does make sure you are on the lower sea view side of the hotel ( if you have not booked a sea view room) which is the most popular side, this is the main reason guests book the royal level, you also have access to the royal level pool and a separate restaurant but you can use any pool or restaurant you wish in the whole of the hotel and more branded drinks are available to you also. I am not sure about the extra cost for the royal level but if you’re thinking about paying it, it would only add to your experience of a wonderful hotel hope this helps I would also advise you to contact the hotel and book the upgrade through them as they will be able to tell you about the availability and it will be cheaper to upgrade direct 👍

Yes if you haven’t booked a sea view room or definitely try to get a sea view room upgrade 👍
Are you able up upgrade to reserve when you arrive if you haven’t done so prior to booking?
Hello yes most hotels will allow you to upgrade on arrival the only thing is depending on how busy the hotel is at the time of your holiday. It would be a good idea to contact the hotel directly you should be able to use your booking ref and see if you could reserve a room for when you arrive 👍 I hope this helps you out thank you for your comment and for watching it’s much appreciated 👍

Hi Billy most people do go for the All-Inclusive option but depending on who you book with bed and Breakfast is an option 👍
Hi John I would pick this Hotel over the Elba Sara just because it holds a lot of memories for me, my daughter who is now 26 never spent a Christmas in the UK till she was 10 years old, as due to my work commitments Christmas / New year was the only time I was able to go on holiday and the Barcelo was one of our go to places. This video is the first time I have returned for 10 years 👍

I stayed there last year and found the food very disappointing. It was badly laid out and was more like a school canteen

Great post, very informative. I visited Fuerteventura last year twice. (Stayed nearby) and found this hotel so booked a week in a month’s time. Really looking forward to it. I’ll let you know how I get on. (I recommend the bike shop up the road, I had a great day with Cool Running’s).

Hi! I'm due to go here in a few weeks time and I'm trying to get my head around the layout of the place. We've booked 2x sea view rooms... are these on the side where the Royal Level access is?? If so, is there 'active level' facilities on that side? Pool, buffet food etc, or do we need to cross the road to those facilities??

It's a great hotel, went this year in January. Definitely try the Mexican and Brazilian restaurants on site - don't t eat beforehand for a few hours 😊

Ok, That's even better. When you had the frame bare, I noticed the skid plate/frame section was removable. Mine is like that also, but that piece is missing on my bike. Is that a standard part? I'm not seeing any online. Thanks.
Yes it’s the original on mine but I suspect they are a very hard part to source as you mention not being able to find any. Most of the parts for these old bikes now are very hard to come by what a lot of people do is to try and source a donor bike make one out of two the only other option is to have them newly fabricated unfortunately

Now I'm retired and just bought a 1975 350T shepra. It's in rough shape. Would it be OK to email you? I have some questions about my bike. If you are not comfortable with it, that's no problem. Is the pool salt water & is it heated?
Hi Ellen yes it is a seawater pool or Lagoon as the hotel like to describe it using Basalt, it is not a heated pool although it is great to swim in and really refreshing on those hot days you get in Lanzarote

You seem to stay in all the hotels I want to go to!! We have booked the Elba Sara but was thinking Barcelo Fuerteventura or Lanzarote active for our next holiday, which did you prefer? Really great videos thanks for all the information.
Hi Leigh really appreciate your comment 👍 Elba Sara is really great it’s just had the facelift they were telling us they were going to do when we stayed. I am going to do a updated review on that as we took a look at it when we were in the Barcelo watch out for that one👍 as to which one we prefer that is really a hard one to answer as they are all great hotels from a couples holiday point of view, however the Barcelo Fuerteventura Mar has to rate very high for the children activities / family holidays they kept the children entertained non stop and just to throw you a curve ball our next planned trip away in September of this year so you might want to hold off booking your next holiday just yet is going to be at the brand new Barcelo Playa Blanca for 7 nights all inclusive and we are super excited about that on 👍
Aw that’s great will keep an eye out for that video. We’ve got two boys so family friendly would be great. We will try to take a walk and a look at the barcelo when we are staying at the Elba. Hello there again ,did you hear any information on sands beach resort, i heard it was going into liquidation ,is there any truth in this because we are staying there in June for 1 month, i know it has problems already but im not sure how bad it is, is it going to close down anytime soon or anything, thank you.
Hi Michael not sure about liquidation to be honest but it is definitely up for sale, I would strongly advise you contact the sands beach or at least your travel agent if you have used one to try and get as much information as possible, don’t leave it to late to get to know 👍
