  They were a true blessing as a teenager we used to go to the Gordon's Institute in Mowbray where many teenagers in Cape Town once a month and they would be there to minister to the young people ❤🙏 and I still listen to Don Moen today .. 💙 a favourite or two is "Our Father" and "Be still" .. thank you Don Moen for your continued faithful praise and worship 🙏 I am 70 this month 🙏

  this group came to our reservation in Poplar Montana on the Fort Peck Indian reservation, my brother Rocky Cummins and i did a few services with them, so good to see this !

  Reading the comments inspired me to go looking to see what I have and I found 4 albums, Maranatha - still sealed never opened. Musicians called out - Jan Law, Don Moen, Beverly Schmidgall, Jim Gilbert, Dan and Steve Jaquith The Great Praise Meeting - opened but in very good condition Musicians called out - Steve Merkel, Bonnie Mays, Warren Merkel, Judi Omdahl, Susan Smith, Beverly Schmidgall The Living Sound, arranged and conducted by Larry Dalton - opened in very good conditon Musicians called out - Jan Law and Roy Rogers Let's Build a Bridge, recorded at Captol Records Cover Photo - the Oppenheimer Theater Welkom, O.F.S. South Africa -sealed never opened No musicians called out I know I have a few more somewhere. I need to get my turntable fixed and transfer these to digital.   Just listening to Don Moen (UTube( and reminded of the time he came to Stoke on Trent in the early 70's with Living Sound. In a "conservative" Pentecostal church, (Apostolic), I remember their sound really challenging some very traditional views as how Christian should sound and look! Here I am 50 years later still listening and being blessed by such memories and currently via Don Moen and his "band". Truth stands above fashion & culture, Thank you Jesus.

  I don't know if it's the exact one but it's most likely Tafjorden-Reindalen. The entire move (aside from built stages/rooms) is filmed at the Juvet Landscape hotel in Norway. It's nestled between at least 3 mountain formations.

  I remember seeing them a few times when they came to Seattle. There was a song about rain (the gentle rain...), that I used to play over and over (not sure if it was a recording of that specific concert or on vinyl!). Would love to hear that song again 40 years later.

  They used to come to our church in Tampa, Florida and Don Moen would stay with us at our house. Wonderful people, and devoted servants of the Lord.

  Best Gospel Group EVER! Met Larry Dalton in 1973 when they performed in Civic centre Stellenbosch. Tried to attend most of their shows in South Africa when they toured here. Would love to know more of what happened to the group and all the individuals. Any Pics available? The LP "Into the 70's with the Living Sound' backed by the SABC Symphony Orchestra was excellent. My old LP scratched and anybody out there willing to upload it, would be fantastic. Keep posting. Thanks again.

  the group dispanded because they got to big there were 4 teams under the Living sound banner, to be honest i wish theyed reform the world needs jesus with everything thats going on like the covid and stuff

  Larry, I have except for one all the Living Sound albums that I've collected over the years. The one that I don't have , I in a sense have as I have it on a cassette, the quality not great. I have the ability to convert LPs to digital and burn a CD or just mp3. Yes Living Sound was the band of the 70s and were we blessed by their music. I remember when Don Moen toured here with Living Sound in the late 70s, they were waiting for the music to come from USA. In the mean time Don wrote a few songs which resulted in the album called 'Things have changed' and that album was recorded in Johannesburg.
