Welcome to The Cadillacguy100 Channel. My videos show the restoration and preservation of America's Best Luxury Car- The Cadillac. I also show local car clubs and did stray from the Cadillac Subject for a short time to show the rebuilding of my Late Fathers Ford LTD Crown Victoria. If you love Large American Luxury Cars- you have come to right place. Thanks for watching.

I'm that guy scratching his head. Thanks man!
@@dungeoncrawlerharl Hope it helped
The reason there is mention of cam/eccentric position is because you “CAN” install the pump on the wrong side of the cam and it “WILL” bolt up normally, resulting in breaking the tip of the pump arm off. Ask me how I know… had to change the timing set due to the arm tip snapping off and Landing between gear and chain. I never would have guessed that scenario but it’s fact. It sucked but wasn’t all bad… I went ahead and slid an Isky cam in her and she’s a bit peppier albeit still a cruiser.
@@pauldimarco9718 Great tip. Thanks for sharing!
For not being driven in over 10 years, that was very good.
Later videos are much better- with longer drives Thanks for watching!
Body by Fisher
Would it crank or turn over I think I’m having the same problem if so
Correct- it would turn over but had no spark. Good luck and thanks for watching!
Love seeing your videos, very inspiring!
Thank you so much for watching!
Can't wait to see it evolve.
Thank you. The welding is taking much longer than expected. It's very disappointing but we hope to report progress again soon. Thank you for watching.
Are any of these Cadillacs still available?
Sold long ago. Please subscribe to get current videos. We try to sell one Cadillac a year. Thanks for watching!

Beautiful is not enough to describe this 64 Deville. And yours specifically is perfect. The paint, and the interior is gorgeous. Would you ever consider selling her?
We currently have nothing for sale. Thank you for watching. Please like and subscribe!

Much appreciated- I love my hobby!

What was the torque specs for the lower strut bolts
You didn’t show anything
Make sure you use a multi meter to test continuity on each and every circuit before installing the harness.
Yes. I agree 👍Thank you!
What a rats nest of wires. Happy to hear you haven't lost your sanity sorting that all out. If I lived closer I'd love to help, but alas, I'll have to live vicariously via your KZread channel! Good luck!
Thanks- it looks worse than it -perhaps because this is not my first rodeo . Stay well!
My parents had an '81 Sedan De Ville, then an '84 Fleetwood Brougham D'Elegance. Great video, and excellent choice of music!
Thank you for watching!

Great stuff man, good luck with everything, looking forward to more uploads!
Thanks for watching- hope to get lots of videos this Summer!
Our neighbor drove SDVs and in 80 a Seville Diesel, then a new FB every year until the early 200o's when he retired. His last one was an 06 ?SDV. They were all beautiful colors, usually the De Elegance package. he put like 80,000 miles a year as a sales rep. He told me the ride in a Cadillac was beyond compare...
Very nice to hear from another Cadillac fan- thank you for watching!
Very cool 🤙 I have a couple dozen cadillac's. Just came across a 58 parts car pretty complete minus bumpers
Thank you for watching- where is the 58 parts car- they are hard to find now!
@Cadillacguy100 I'm in Spokane WA I know of 2 58 4 dr parts cars. 1 is at antique auto ranch and they would ship parts. The other is in a 1k car collection most of which fell victim to a fire the 58 is one of the survivors.
Can't wait to see this one finished!
Thank you- it might be ready before the 58- time will tell. Thank you for watching!
Amazing Classics you have there, really enjoy your videos!
Thanks for your support!
Can’t wait to see the progress, absolutely love your enthusiasm. Keep up these amazing videos,
Thanks so much for watching!
Found a real gem !!
Thank you for watching! Watch the videos to see how it turned!
Great post. I have a 1979 Cadillac Deville which for the past 30 yrs has turned out to be the most reliable car I've ever owned as well.
Any cast Iron Cadillac Engine with no computer will be a dependable and long lasting vehicle. Thanks for your comment!
That is a fabulous car. Thank you for sharing.😊
Thank you!
Beautiful car and looks fun to drive as well. Which transmission is in this car? Sounds like a 3 or 4 speed? Thanks!
In 64 the Sedan DeVille came with the new Turbo 400. However- this car had no engine or transmission when I rescued it. So I took a 44,000 mile 429 and Hydramatic out of a 64 Series 62. So she has three forward speeds. Thank you for watching!
@@Cadillacguy100 Thank you for replying to me. Can't wait to see more of your video updates and really did enjoy the driving video. Perhaps another driving video at some future point?
@@JRobert111111 Yes- definitely. Now that my oldest can sit beside me upfront- more driving pics should be easier! Thanks again!
Very nice car.. Thanks for sharing..
Thank you for watching!
These cars are with timeless shapes unlike now days a kind of shapeless vetches look similar and a kind of amphibians or baby whales ? if not a frog
Bloody hell.

Thank you for watching!
Great channel. Can you put a link up to the Cadillac parts place in Ontario?
Here you go- www.cadillacville.com/
Beautiful cadillac you have there! Must be a pleasure to drive. I haven't driven my 58 cadillac since December. Though I live in Southern California, we've had so MUCH RAIN, I haven't taken it out. We actually had an inch of rain again yesterday! But its supposed to be sunny and warmer this week so I'll be able to get her on the road and give her some needed excercise. Have a great day.
Thank you for your comment. We are currently restoring a 1958 Cadillac ourselves and looking forward to the day we can drive it too! Enjoy your day!
@Cadillacguy100 Yes I've visited your site before. How is that coming along? My cadillac was bought by my parents in 1960 from a Doctor friend of theirs. I was 1 year old. Series 62 sedan sedan optioned up with power windows wonder bar radio, power antenna, and very rare Factory AC, mom gave it to me in 1982. Lifelong Southern California car, little surface rust here and there underneath, nothing else. I'm very attached to to it ! It does need another new paint job, and new upholstery, but its still decent. It's Prestwick Gray, a dark Gray, With 2 tone silver interior. Keep on that 58 you have, you rescued her!
Happy Spring! Nice to see the 64 on the road. From a manufacturing standpoint, it would make no sense to have much different panels and mounts for the different transmissions, otherwise it would have cost money to make the Hydramatic available in the lower cost Series 62. The THM probably weighed less and operated better. Finding someone who can work on a Hydramatic must be getting harder and harder.
@@johnfranklin5277 No worries I will endure. Sadly had to put up with lots of haters. In Canada- there are no better options. Plus I enjoy the process of turning something the World thinks is beyond saving into a real and dependable car again! Engine and tranny were pulled last Summer- so working on that. Welding is taking much longer than we anticipated- over four years at this point- but we at happy with the work done so far. Once it leaves there- things should ramp up very quickly- Thanks for watching!
Hey I was wondering where in Canada you are located. I am looking to get my roof done and I am in Toronto.
The roof shop is located in Kingston Ontario. bradsautoglassandcanvas.com/
My neighbor a retired Lt. Colonel had the same color with a leather interior.
I'm looking for one and am serious. Like a maroon or blue one.
I have 1972 Cadillac fleetwood can I pass the AC compressor and only use the radiator fan to the power steering pump And if I can you guys know the part number
I put rear fillers on my 92. one came from a junkyard and was original ( some what flexible ) one I ordered. Got all the rear fillers new for $138. The problem was the right one the one I needed was fiberglass and to get it to fit at all I had to do much cutting and grinding
Yes-lots of fitment issues with reproduction ones. Thanks for watching!
Love The Longer Video- Great Job Editing!
Thank you so much!

What most people do not realize is all the small pieces he fabricated are crucial to the build. The smaller pieces take more time and labour to fabricate. Still progress!
I’m looking for some sheet metal for a 1958 Cadillac coupe deville I just found. Do you have any contacts?
