Great video. You mentioned you used the factory floor, is that right? If so, any issues with how your additional floor extension piece of plywood butts up against the factory floor? Any special joinery you used to avoid that line being obvious? Also, what did you use to cover the factory floor d-ring holes to make it secure and hidden? Cheers!
This is beyond sick!!! Great video and so much respect for showing us the whole process. Thank you Kate ❤
She gets many compliments now! 🤘🏼
Welcome back Kate!!! Nah, I like to take my van apart over and over again and redo what I already have done...........don't ask me why, I guess I get bored! LOL To clarify it's just altering things after 3 years of using it. Typically I just ride mountain bikes and ski! Perhaps I should start surfing.....but the waters here in the PNW are cold and I'd rather just boat in it. HA! You've always had a creative eye, nice board!! Take care!
Yeah the cold days are rough that’s for sure!
Nice 3:43
❤ nice ink Kate xxx
Thanks mate

Nice🥶🥵
Thanks
You used the wrong screws to attach the fan to the frame. The screws with the white tips are used to install the inside flange
Awesome build!!! What's Bruce's weight?
beautiful and just a good girl, tell me, are you still in Australia now?
If I had a purple one I would call it Thanos
And the important part for those fantasizing of a similar build...$200-250k?
How easy would it be to repair if anything broke down in a 2nd-3rd world country?
Would like to change a few things. The layout isn't optimal use of space. The interior looks boring and the bathroom area looks like the inside of a slaughter house. The lighting on the inside is insufficient. This van has no ventilation in the shower area. The ventilation in the living area is insufficient. There are not enough exterior lights. There is no ladder on the back. No side flares and thereby not possible to sleep side to side which would free up about 50 cm (20 inches) of space along the length of the van. The insulation is not good enough for cold climate. There are no skid plates for the undercarriage so if you happen to hit a stone it will damage vital areas and you will be stuck in the middle of nowhere. There are so many things they could improve on this van.
Why stop at a ladder on the back. Why not two more on the other side and one on the hood? In fact no van, just ladders. Climb to new heights.
@@werollwithit Why be sarcastic and unable to take critique? A ladder on the back is seen on many vans like this. But you can skip it if you want. Is that your take from everything I suggested? Why didn't you comment on the other things I wrote, instead of being a sarcastic "smartass" with a cheap comeback? 🙄
Where did you find that reducer connector ?
From diesel heat in tassy
Thanks for posting this. Just about to install a heater in our 2018 313. Not sure which pump housing we will find on tank but either way shouldn’t be a problem😊. Regarding “in tank” pick up tube length. I would tend to place the end quite low to allow for out of level parking etc. We don’t plan on staying in one spot for multiple days so would only use a litre or two max. Cheers 👍
If you need it that low to allow for out of level parking (uncomfortable sleeping) you’re definitely risking running your fuel empty with your heater. But it’s your build and your choices.
@@werollwithit Haha too true. And being an ex builder, alway try to get as level as possible 😂👍
Gas mileage may I ask?
Music is much to loud
Nice rig. Terrible sound quality and annoying buzzing special effect on transitions.
Good afternoon. where did you go ? I saw your green Mercedes camper in Sacramento in the mountains. I couldn't catch up with you. The last time I wrote you a comment was in Moscow when I lived.
Oh nice! That will be someone else in the green van now as I sold it. Am exploring Australia now
@@werollwithit You are such a cool girl. i watch you over time when you put together that beautiful green mercedes benz. I also got excited about the idea to once again leave Russia and settle in the USA, it was difficult for us, but I overcame everything. You motivate people with your videos. Release more beautiful video, now from Australia.
Can i ask where you got your fuel line and hose from
DieselHeatAU
Que genia!!! Did you have any warning light after this?
No none! :)
I know the Dana 70 rear axle was usually free floating, is it that way on this van? Also do you know the exact dana 70 axle which was used? There are quite a few variations so it would be interesting to know which one best fitted the springer.
Sua Van tem uma montagem maravilhosa em todos os detalhes. Parabéns!
‘Brigada muito mano!
Perfect van
thanks!
"clamppy friends"!
Subscribe for more technical terminology 🤣
Hi what size is the connecting rubber hose 4mm and the larger size is ? Thanks paul
ahh i think 6 I got it from diesel heat in tassy
Hi. Love your videos. Where did you get the storage cubby above the visor??
That’s stock on this model van
This seems like the only clip on this new shaped Sprinter, so appreciated. Its good to see peoples mistakes as well when the diesel spilled everywhere so as not to make the same mistakes.
How is the quick release from the emergency pelicase ? And awesome 🤩 😍 Van. My dream
Bonjour, je souhaiterai utiliser un tissus comme le votre sur les murs.Savez-vous ou puis je le trouver ?Comment s'appelle-t-il? bien a vous Cyril ( france)
Have been trying to find that hose that connects the thin fuel line to the top of the tank with no luck...any ideas? Cheers 😁
Seriously I wish she had mentioned it. @werollwithit do you remember what that is called or where to get it?
@@mickbradford7955 HA! Thanks! I ended up finding out my 2019 has an Aux tap built in! right behind drivers door, 5/16 quick connect. I'll have it tapped on Friday!
I get mine from diesel heat in tassy
HI. Loved your video. I didn't quite hear what size Torx socket you used on the strap bolts I haven't got any, so need to go buy some. Hope you can help. Cheers
Oh I think they were tens - but good to have a small set of them, they come up a lot on the sprinters. I keep a small set on board
@@werollwithit Thanks for the tip. Off to Supercheap, Autobarn or Repco tomorrow. 😀
I really liked the car Mercedes Sprinter What it looks like
Good afternoon and sorry I wanted to know where you bought the seats on the Mercedes Sprinter
They are Scheelmann’s
Good afternoon. I wanted to know if it is possible to install a second tank under the Sprinter
Put one in the engine
Cek harga
Had a look at mine (4x4 2020 V6) and what looks like to be a breather for the fuel tank just has an open end (it was tucked up into the chassis a bit) ,is that right :-o what if you do a water crossing ? will water get into the diesel tank , need one of those ping pong ball fittings like my goggles and snorkel had as a kid , or has something fallen off, wouldnt think you could vent to the atmosphere in this day and age ...???
Nah it’s water tight doing it this way
Congrats on best sprinter on the entire planet! Would you mind sharing what width axles you put under there? Or what vehicle they came out of? I am searching for some myself. Thank you.
what is the fabric that you used on the walls etc? very nice.
How much did it cost for you to build that amazing van? And how much time did you spend on it? Thank you 🙏🏻
Amazing
it says 4x4 abve here but you say 2 wheel drive in the video... which is it?
Originally 2WD from factory, then custom converted to true hub locking 4x4
@@werollwithit HUB Locking! A much better system in my opinion. I have had both and the HUB lock was 100% better.
Прикольный автодом👍
How much for the green 4x4 van?
It sold in 2020 for $300k USD
@@werollwithit possible for a rebuild and sell to me?
@@oringo556 I have one for sale now on www.adventurerigsaustralia.com You have to send it off to do the solid axle swap tho
@@werollwithit arhh ok! Im looking to buy the bruce banner type and get it shipped to Canada to start out adventure of driving from Canada all the way down to Chile!
@@oringo556 yep that’s the same, just doesn’t have the solid axle swap yet (which is why it’s 100k cheaper) if you seriously want it email me
I wonder if installing a T-connector at that blue fuel line would do the trick.. hoping to avoid dropping the tank
But then you run the risk of using all your fuel up by the heater overnight better to put the new hose and run it shorter so there is always some gas left
Sorry my english...do you refer to the line with blue plastic conector?
@@mecanictransmision I added the blue fuel line
@@werollwithit... how did you do?
@@mecanictransmision that’s what the vide is about. Adding the blue line for the heater
Hi amazing amazing build. I wouldn’t change anything except the exterior color to dark blue 😎.. QUESTION. Did Tourig do the whole build? How much are they responsible for .. definitely shopping and this being the best build seen (ever?🤷🏻♂️) would love to know if majority of it is done at the same shop
Tourig did the interior of this one
Hey Kate, I'm a little late to the party; your video on Nate Murphy's channel about Bruce brought me here. I was curious as to why you switched up from the long wheelbase to the medium wheelbase, I'm currently trying to decide between the two myself.
I want it
Love your rig! What's the dimension of those mags? (offset and diameter)
