Catching a walleye & musky are my goals for 2024. I plan to go to Pomme De Terre, Henry Sever, and Hazel Creek to catch one or both.
Bears are neat!
I had a young male black bear in a tree right outside my house in the front yard, the dogs treed him. We called one of our local conservation agents, he gave me some rubber slugs In case he came back and became a nuisance. He hasn't showed up again..... Yet!
This video was exactly what I needed!!! Thank you sir, got a lot of coon tail in my tank
don't like the firearms pointing downrange during ceasefire, gun racks behind the points should be provided, remember assume every gun is loaded
I have question. In the Kansas City area there has been a distinct absence of May Beetles (June Bugs) for several years. What’s happened to cause their absence.
Thank you folks. Such important info.
Thank you for informative video! These short videos are excellent!!!
Another great informative video!
Rarely spotted, always heard!!
I got bit by a brown recluse a week ago today and it’s currently still a big wound. Even with treatment.
Don't pick up road turtles. Give them a scoot off the road with your foot.
Great video!
About 20 or so years ago I guided a group of MDC employees to a glade area in the Hercules Glades National Forest. The trail to get there went through a thick forested area and it's at least a mile to the the beginning of the glade area. They were getting a bit nervous about rather I knew where to take them by the time we were getting close. I could tell because they told me so. Then, just a bit further on I told them we were very close but we had go off trail for a bit and that made them wonder even more about rather or not I knew what a Glade is because all you could see was the thick forest. It was only about a few hundred feet before we got to the edge of the glade and, oh my goodness, I've never seen such nerdy excitement in my life! Or heard so much Latin being spoke. I had no clue what they looking at and talking about but it was clear they were excited about it and finding all kinds of gladey stuff there and they weren't even 50ft in from edge of it yet. After a bit they said they found some stuff that none of them had ever seen before and that really got them excited, and me too even though I had no clue about what it was, and still don't. I have to say that it was a pure and unforgettable pleasure to be able to watch and listen to them and see them so excited about what they were finding and learning.
I see one of theese in my backyard so cool
Enjoyed yourvedio! Fished mark twain for crappie! I'll try cat fish next time! Thanks for the information! Helps to know things before you go !
I would have thrown that back having no idea what I just caught.
Honestly I miss this kind of direct information. On youtube now you gotta wait through an ad then wait through the youtubers sponsor ad then wait for the youtuber to plug their own channel AND THEN you get to the video, smh it’s just cable tv now.

I let a bee smoker get away and had a very much unprescribed fire. But the pasture is crazy green now without all the thatch and sticks!
Autumn olive berries are edible - may even be a superfood.
Thanks for the info.
Great video!!
Great video. Thanks for making these.
Should be called the Missouri Department of Conversation
Can't have a campfire. You people let the bears and mountain lions back in tge state. There is no more enjoying all the places MDC has provided. Outside isn't safe.
Bicyclists regularly get caught trespassing in my area of McDonald county. They use everyone's property like a personal bathroom. They are not wanted here
Instead of having a food producing shrub that is great at ammendibg soil, spray chemicals so tall weeds and grasses can grow and provide a habitat for tics.
Yummy im from missouri. My dad used to call them yellow bellies they are good eating ! Hey go ckeck out Sumner Mo Swan Lake. Chariton
I got 20 acres of that stuff. Hate it. It does help with erosion and birds love it year round. Especially song birds. Right outside my bedroom window. 😠 I've pulled out the stumps with my tractor and the roots left in the ground sprout back in a few weeks. The stuff just doesn't stop.
Thanks guys. Most informative

What a throwback! ❤😂
