I can relate to a lot of what you said in an oblique way. I have OCD ( "pure O as it's called") and for many years hated myself for not playing the field before meeting my girlfriend who later became my wife. Learning to let go of things that in the long run don't really matter may have saved my life. I think you may have a misguided idea that you are doing something wrong in trying to attract women which maybe causes you to try to "look more appealing" superficially. Hit the weights and diet for yourself. Not anyone else. Style your hair how you want Because YOU want it that way. I haven't done the online dating thing in AGES and once I even tried speed dating. I have had some nightmare dates during that process. But sifting through the duds is something that most of us have to do. Don't give up on the online dating thing yet. Maybe stretch the truth when setting up the "interests" part of your profile so you will have more matches, then once you get to know someone after a few dates ask yourself if you can look past some of your differences. You can't expect to have all the same interests as your potential partners. I hate my wife's taste in music. She doesn't "get" Mst3k or my love of spicy as fuck food or Japanese film. These little differences in interests don't matter at all! try the online dating thing again, and be aware that a lot of them are going to be an awkward dumpster fire. Above all Be confident because you have no reason not to and trust me when I say that confidence attracts people.

Here's the deal about lifting: I don't actually want to do it. I'm perfectly content with the way I look. It's just that women are not content with the way I look, and I want to attract women. Therefore, I must change. I spent years just not giving a damn about how I looked, and I only repulsed women. It isn't as simple as just doing whatever I want.

space chief are you sure that you repulsed them? That's a strong judgment on yourself. Or maybe I should say against yourself. You seem like a handsome dude, don't give up on yourself at the starting gate. There's nothing wrong with learning to love yourself. Maybe that should come before anything else 🤔

I doubt you repulse women. Most men aren't buff and at least you look healthy and that you take care of yourself. I really think that the women you would connect best with aren't going to walk up and compliment you because they're shy. Maybe try joining social groups in your area or through your local library and meet people with similar interests.

As a fellow introvert I know how hard it is. 4. It sounds like you weren't looking in the right places. No one goes to those places for relationships anymore. Idk if I'm helping but I hope I did. The funny thing is, every time I hear someone tell me I'm good looking, it's from what I assume to be a straight male. I can count the times I've been complimented by females on one hand.

That's impressive that you put yourself out there. I subscribed to your page because of the mst3k videos so I wanted to tell you that there's a mst3k dating site on Twitter. There's a good chance that the girl for you is also shy so she wouldn't approach you either. You're good looking, you can do this!
