My average workweek on my one and only eBay store is under 25 hours per week. My hourly rate (after deducting Cost of Goods) is $60.76 per hour.

In 2020 I did $150,000 in gross sales on eBay.
In 2021 I did $130,000 in gross sales on eBay.
I have no employees and source, photograph, list, and ship solo.
If I can do it, you certainly can too.

Some answers to frequently asked questions:

1) Why do you run a 50% off sale in your eBay store?
---When I made the decision to sell high volume on eBay I was watching another eBay seller on KZread (many years ago) and they ran a concurrent 50% off sale in their store. I am literally copying what they were doing at the time, not knowing any better. There is NO STRATEGY behind why I run a 50% off sale - I copied another seller and have never done it any different, so I continue to do it. I DO NOT believe it gives me any sort of competitive advantage whatsoever in my rankings. I'm too lazy to change it.

I agree with the Halloween decor. My local thrift store only had a pumpkin candle holder. I love vintage Halloween decor so I’m always looking for it at the thrift stores.

I think you are missing the boat by not buying summer shoes. I live in Arizona and wear sandals year around. Going to Hawaii in September and am shopping for sandals and summer clothes for that trip. Summer sells year around.

Never found Rhoback! I’m not sure it is as known here in South Carolina, BUT I will be looking in Atlanta next time I’m there! I have several Willis Coach bags in my personal vintage Coach collection. Maybe it’s time to go through them and sell the ones in less than perfect condition. I usually pay about $10 for these at the thrift store.

Hey, just curious how often do you go through all of your listings on eBay to make sure that they are currently listed because we all know eBay takes things down without telling you but I was just curious to see how often you do an inventory check and what do you do with the things that you decide aren’t worth it to sell anymore? Do you have a Yard Sale flea market or just donate it?

Im not doing as well as you but made little more in June I think just keeping listing, accepting more, getting offers out. I also have range of clothing so not as rough as other youtube sellers who might sell just jeans or something. Shoes definitely been good.

Thanks for the good tips.. Have you seen Fossil Purses, Clutches, or Wristlets?? They sell fast for $25 minimum to $39.. Then there is Lucky Brand Purses that sell quickly.. Also look for Wristlets & Wallets as well as purses.. They clean up nicely with wash rag & Water on the leather if they aren't scuffed.. They are BOLO like Coach.. Just in case you weren't aware..

That huge box of cords we all have. Pull it out and sort them. I made $500 in a week cuz I matched them to things and sold electronics. I never ever sell electronics because I'm easily intimidated. You never know what you have in that death pile.
