well if I am correct, frank and Alice longbottom were tortured by barty crouch junior, how, because in harry potter: the goblet of fire, one of Harry's teacher was going to be send to azkaban, so he named four names that killed people with a spell, the last name that he said was "torture of auror frank longbottom and his wife, barty crouch junior" so maybe barty crouch killed Neville's parents with the cruciatus curse, if I am correct

I have a few of the 20th anniversary edition sets, but this one is my favorite. There's so much detail to it, the art is beautiful, and the style is so unique. It's the only set I own where I display the back of the box instead of the front. I preordered the books directly from Nanmeebooks, and it only came with the large set of postcards. I actually checked their website, and they don't even advertise the smaller ones. It also didn't come with the book cover, but it did come with a small tote bag with the artwork for the 2 books on each side.

I think that the egg candle is an The Occamy´s egg. The Occamy was in the movie Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and their eggs are silver. So maybe... :)
You are exactly right. I guess I haven't watched the FB movies as much to catch it during the unboxing. Next time I watch them I will be on the lookout for the egg.

I adore your channel name, my family are big into wonderland, haha, I'm Alice, my husband Rod is the mad hatter, and my bro-in-law, Rab is the rabbit, ha. Anyway, loving the combo of that with wands, so magically creative of you. No, I am not going to talk more about your channel name than this box, though I could. Creatures is such a bop, so much could've been done and this box was a hard C for my fam. The coloring rubbish is just a bloody color for each creature, no picture of the creature on it, just a cop out if you bloody ask me. One of the least favorite things just wtf! Especially as they could've done so much more. I love the useful aspect but for me that was a flop, thoughI am glad you like them. The so called fluffy creature was a black and white cat head looking thing, extremely creepy and mine was fluffy on 10 percent of the bottom then the rest was sticky and icky. Really, they could not notice that? IF not a Puff who wants a cat head? I was very vexed/disappointed. Any items I did not love in the past were like I don't care but others might, and this was just nasty ugly bad. Sure, it says to let it dry, but really? What sort of product makes you let it hang out for a week to see if it improves? Just really no reason to make such a thing. I did love the dragon egg candles smells like fruit loops and I can use it for smething after so loveing taht. And the book wolet is nice too, we can keep our medical cards in, because Roddy already uses a Universal monster book of monsters one that is 3d, fury and adorable, and I don't carry one, but it's still useful. The Dementor statue was triggering, haha, but I didn't complain as it isn't their fault. Kind of reminds us of a Ring raith Great review on your part. Bella L
You had me 🤣 at the cat head part. That is so true it does look like a cat head. I do agree this was one of their weaker boxes from ones I have seen in the past. I may be wrong but I feel like in the past they would have more quality items and now the boxes come with maybe one or two good items and then allot of filler with paper products, stickers and the random trinkets.

Many adults and thier children draw and color Harry Potter! Pencils are not a high budget item. But the colors are very hard to find that match the HP world.

I think this box was a little underwhelming. There’s so many creatures they could have represented that would have been better. The cheat sheet not really giving details and just referencing past boxes was asinine.

The egg is an occamy egg apparently. I’m more of a Harry Potter fan than fantastic beasts though so I’d never have known it. No idea on the statue!

The problem with collecting wands is that we keep on finding reasons to add "just one more", either because it's gorgeous, or different, or from a character we love, or simply because "we are just missing that one to have the complete set for the Professors at Hogwarts" 🤦♂🤣🤣 It's so addictive, damn! 😁 But if I had to chose one, I'd say the Elder Wand - it is the first item of my collection, very special, the one that started it all 😊 Take care and, again, thanks for sharing!

I really love that after the second movie they decided to give each character their own unique wand. It makes them fun to collect. I try to sneak one in here and there for Birthdays and Christmas gifts.

When it comes to replicas im also finicky. Coming from amazon sometimes they dont pack it well. NC US usually ships from virginia and packs well with a great customer service. Though I do sometimes get stuff from amazon bec of my GCs. Truly a gorgeous replica!!! I display mine with the cover half open…

Ckrookshanks is half kneazle. Kneazles have an ability to recognise bad people. And half kneazles have this ability as well. So that's why he attacked Peter so much

The last one I think is *impossible*. We didn't just see things from Harry's perspective, we also saw things from Snape's perspective at moments and bellatrix. Also, the fantastic beasts movies wouldn't exist if that's the case. Sure, some don't consider them canon, but they were written by Rowling. So there's no way that's what she had in mind. If this is all Harry's imagination, how come we see things Harry doesn't experience? Sorry, I've heard that theory so many times, I had to release my anger 😂

I heard another side to the filch cat theory that mrs Norris might be his wife... either she stays in animagus form only when she's out in public and stays human when she's in private with filch, or she's stuck in that form kind of like how rita skeeter was when hermione caught her. I think filch is too miserable of a character for the first one to be true though haha. it's kind of my favorite theory not because I like filch but it definitely makes you think a lot. and the concept of animagi is one of the most interesting wizarding world things to me.
Honestly that just makes me feel bad for Filch. Maybe that's why he loves Mrs Norris so much 🥹
I've also heard the Mrs Norris being his wife theory, not that she is an animagus but that she is a maledictus like voldemorts snake Nagini. So eventually Mrs Norris wasn't able to turn back into a human and was stuck in her cat form forever

I just bought tickets for this Saturday. I want to give it another chance with better weather.
If they learn from marvels mistakes and accomplishments then they will do good. If it's done right and more book accurate then it will be Harry Potter for adults while the of movies will be for kids/ introduction to franchise. If they don't go woke or get greedy it could be beautiful.
If the new Matrix movie is any indication of Warner Bros mentality with reboots, then I have little faith in this new project. But I hope they prove me wrong.
Id like to have a show that gives way more attention to the books. There are so many great storylines or chracters that were left out in the movies.

I was hoping with this reboot we would get episodes focussing on different characters of whats happening. Like imagine we get an episode of Voldemort and Barty Crouch Jr. planning to kidnap Moody and be an imposter. I know it was a big reveal in the books, but what if we got the insider knowledge this time to give more meanings to these things.
You seem to forget J.K. Rowling is making all the decisions for the show.
That could be good or bad...she was also heavily involved in the Fantastic Beast movies and they didn't turn out as expected.

If they just focus on capturing the core themes of the books then it should be fine. Adaptations can go so wrong when the writers and/or directors don't understand or don't care what made the original story resonate so much with audiences and try to make their own story with the characters. That happened with those Hobbit movies, the Rings of Power Amazon series, and that weird Halo show which completely ignored so much of what makes the story and characters good.
