  Bro you‘re Guide was very useful, especially the career path. Nevertheless, I am a Bit worried though to the fact, that if you Post a Guide like this for every Finance career, especially the popular ones like IB or PE, your products become a Bit useless. Even for me as a Highschool grad in Germany, who has Done a LOT of Research, was before very intrinsically questioned: „Shall i Buy it or not? Maybe there is some useful Information that i didn‘t know“ Now I am like „Ok thank you for that, i do Not Need to Buy it anymore because i know everything“ . And this a Major Problem. For me, as a Client is it perfect, But for you Not really because you don’t Generate enough income. Maybe it is useful for you. Have a nice Day and keep your work up 💪👍

  If your grades are not good in uni or college and you want to break into investment banking go heavy on internships, networking and technical skills. Do not underestimate the power of knowing excel very well. Bankers do not want to train from scratch. I have seen them ding people with perfect grades because their technical skills were poor and had lack of work experience/internships.

  You really do not need a degree for investment banking. Just an online course in accounting, excel and PowerPoint. The only reason you "need" a degree is the paper ceiling is alive and well in investment banking. As for GPA (grades), they only matter to idiot recruiters because they do not know what they are recruiting for. If you intern, learn the skills needed for banking and network, the GPA becomes significantly less important. If we get rid of the weird irrelevant requirements, and focus on skills and preparation, those who worked after high school instead of going to college would be a more desired candidate.

  Hey Afzal, most of the time lines you reference in your content are geared towards people who knew from the onset that they wanted to go into the world of finance. I did my undergrad at law school and only now realise I actually want to pursue a career in finance. Can you make a video detailing transitioning from other career fields into the world of finance and the age complications if any and detail how the path to breaking into finance will look like in such cases.
