Purchase a copy of Color Me Beautiful. I have abided my colors (I am a "Summer") for decades and it has kept me from wearing colors that don't suit me.

Mashallah sister, it's too big of a risk because we can't be 100 percent sure of how breathable it is. It's not worth risking our prayers for. Watch mukti men's video on this topic too, he too explained it well.

Its just a scarf. Women used to wear them in the sixties when they had their rollers in- see Ena Sharples coronation st in the 70s and of course hilda ogden and norah batty- all dyed in the wool scarf wearers.

I'm a Christian and I feel in my heart to be more reserved, I remember my grandmother covering her hair with a scarf every time she left the house and she was Catholic. As a child, I thought it was very different here, today I understand that women have always covered their hair throughout history.

I was born to a family with no particular religion, but I practice/follow Judaism. I just feel very uncomfortable showing off my skin and hair out in public, so I may do this. However, I’m 14 years old and in 8th grade, so now I’m also afraid of my peers making fun of me and judging. Help meeeee!!!

They probably just accept it cause they’re in a Muslim country. That’s how I feel when I see a bible in hotel rooms. America is a predominantly Christian country founded on Christian values so it makes sense and honestly faith is what we all need right now so y’know 😊 where you from?

I need some advice. For probably a year now I've been interested in Islam and wearing a hijab, but especially recently. I tried on a scarf in the style of a hijab and I felt so beautiful. I love the idea of dressing modestly, and I do. But my passion has always been dance. I literally could not live without dance, but from my understanding dance is haram. And it's also just terrifying to explain reverting to my family and friends, especially because I am still in school, meaning I would have to explain to a lottt of people. Everyone always says "do whatever you want" and "just be yourself, it doesnt matter what they think" but it's so difficult. I also live in the US which isnt predominantly Muslim. Please help :(

If you have to wear glasses but you have a long face, you can’t put the fold so low because the glasses deform the fabric.

Subhan Allah, I started watching this and in my heart praying I hope she does not say it’s ok to wear it. I would never want anyone to take me as role model and see me do it, follow me and then their prayers won’t count. I’m so proud of you, for me it was when I had it on, I could not bring my heart to be present, it was so hard to be in a state of khusho3. I had to choose Allah swt over something that’s temporary for this Dunia And I always follow the rule of, if you leave something you love for the sake of Allah swt then he will definitely grant you something greater in return.

Hi Haute, My name is Amy and i am a Christian. I have been wearing my head covering/veiling since the beginning of 2024. I wear a Hijab a lot and other head covering. You said something that resonated with me and it stuck out like a sore thumb. As a Christian and covering my head has been hard for my family and my friends. But i believe that God has called me to cover my head for him. And it was hard at first; since i didn't do it all my life but i feel safe and secure with God since i started covering my head. Thank you for validating me. Thank you for your video i learned a lot. And i want to say God Bless you. With lot's of love, Captain Amy Lutz Date: 03/02/2024 Time: 0845💞💯🙏

I bought around a dozen of these maxi sized bamboo hijabs back in 2021. They are so incredibly soft and I am still using most of them today. I have not had the mind to toss or recycle even those few that have become somewhat worn out and have repurposed them as towels etc. Wish they bring back the maxi ones. Great quality!

I was researching and everything i found said a girl starts wearing a hijab between the ages of 7 to 12 or when they start menstruation. What about someone like myself who starts menstration at age 15. I was also very tall at 5ft 9 inches tall. What would the proper time to wear it in the case of a girl like myself. I am just asking out of pure curiosity and genuine interest

Thank you so much for thos video! Exactly what I was looking for! The example hijabis you chose to represent the different shapes really helped to envision what the shapes look like on actual humans, instead of just the concepts. Thanks for all the work you did explaining the face shapes and how to style hijabs to complement them.

Jazakallah for this. But what you suggested was the individual element and the perception of people (any girl) towards hijab and the many factors that sum up to the action of leaving the hijab. But there is one crucial and wholistic factor that we have completely overlooked. It’s the societal factor and the system of authority that does not abide by or implement Islamic Shariah laws which educate and protect women and acknowledges them of their Islamic rights and obligations. Hijab is not only a part of personal belief, it’s an obligation for all, just like prayer and fast. The day Islam is implemented as the law of governance and the education system supports complicity and develops strong, god fearing and pious women who know their rights, is the day when society would establish the standard of a women’s dress code and that would be law of the land. InshaAllah.
