    This told me nothing about what I would like to know about the boat. I agree, BASED ON OTHER VIDEOS, that the Corsair is a fast sailboat. Tell me about it being a cruiser that I can sail places and not by necessity need to pull up to the marina dock and order pizza, in order to eat.

  • @robwrongshoes

    You ever been aboard one yourself? There were some finish quality issues in the past, but they've made great strides recently to address, and the boats sail beautifully. For what it's worth, I think it's funny how people take other's word as truth, without evaluating themselves the proper way. In either case, I think it's quite an oversight to evaluate sailboats and rank them, without ever actually sailing them.

  • @-TruthHurts

    i wouldnt pay to much attention to the ruby rose videos since they are quite shallow.... they never touch on the real questions to ask or show, like electric & electronic looming, plumming, structural integrety, rudder mechanics, rigging, actual handling under sail, etc....

    Hi Francisco. There are two heads on the vessel. The one on the port aft quarter is not connected to a stateroom, so there is no need to walk through anyone's private room to get to it. While the starboard forward head is connected is an ensuite head, that makes it an ideal owner's suite when you have guests, as you don't have to share the head with others. Instead, they can simply use the head on port. I hope this helps. Thanks!

    don't have ropes over your panels. Easy fix, raise the panels up to allow ropes to pass underneath. It also helps with airflow under the panels, keeping them cooler. both will help them generate more power.

    All boats are a set of compromises. If you lowered the berth height, you'd lower the clearance over water, and adversely impact performance. Either way, for most, the height is fine. They can sit up and read, and certainly, they can sleep, unless they prefer to hang vertically like bats.

    I absolutely love the galley down. For me a Galley up is kind of a deal killer for me, because your Galley is then in your living and entertaining space. That means that it always has to look perfect, and also you lose so much room in the Salon. Not only that but underway on a galley up just doesn't seem as safe. Also with the Galley down you or me would get a much bigger kitchen more counter space. So I am not a foodie, I spend as little time as possible in the Galley/kitchen, and therefore why do I need to have it taking up most of the salon? I think with the Galley down on this size boat a full size fridge would be better though, although I do appreciate the fridge not being below the counter. How is it you have a Seawind that is not sold yet? The manufacture seems to be on waitlist for Seawind's right now. Oh, I thought you were doing a tour on the 1600, my bad! That is why you don't have a bigger fridge! LMBO! Yes I edited this once I figured it out. 1260's are on a 4 year wait list last I heard, so really how do you have one that isn't sold yet?

  • @wrightyachtsales5571
    @wrightyachtsales55713 жыл бұрын

    Thanks for the comments. I agree galley down is an ideal setup on a cat this size, and in this case, it's very light filled and open. A buyer has indeed put a deposit on the vessel, so we're just working towards closing at this point, but we do have 1260 build slots available at the moment still completing in 2nd half of 2022.

It was just a suggestion to make life easy around you the typical setup is a small GoPro on a headband and again that will take some time for you to get it adjusted to that it takes the photos you wanted to take period but it beats growing a third arm. • @andreachinaglia5804

    this is only a perspective and very subjective statement. every cruising catamaran can reach good speed downwind and with enough wind, and almost no cruising catamaran can maintain the speed of the ones build for racing only in that situation, to have peaks of 15 or 20 knots does not make that big difference, even if can be rewarding for those that like that kind of fun. from the video i would say that the seawind can point several degrees better upwind, and this can make a difference as not every time is possible to go downwind, and, thing that can not be seen in this video, to be able to sail in a light wind is also very important. performing better in those 2 situations can make a difference cruising, as you have to resort to the engine less often. if that is better or is better to have more living space inside is also very subjective, greatly depending on the owner needs and kind of usage, spending most of the time at anchor and doing the long passages when the wind forecast is perfect that day or 2 less in a long passage does not change the life, for a boat that is sailing more often to be able to continue to sail when a too weak wind or upwind conditions make it frustrating for a heavier boat with larger hulls can be a big plus.

  • @andreachinaglia5804

    I would say that they offer most of the benefits the other catamarans offer, comparable sitting space in the deck and central cabin, comparable number and size of beds and a more then adequate galley, that being in a hull is actually bigger and more functional then most of the galley of catamarans of comparable length. But is true that they can be way less attractive then other catamarans for some people, weight reduction comes at a price, their interior looks more the one of a boat then the one of a luxury apartment, and also narrower hulls come at a price, a smart design can fit in them all that is needed, but they remain narrow... From what I read their building quality is not compromised by their low price and sailing capability, ie they all have foam core instead of balsa core, used by many other catamarans, and balsa wood can become rotten if the water leaks in reducing the life of the boat, and it is just an example. For some people the small Seawinds and very few other catamarans can be a really interesting choice, for other people a condomarans can be a better choice, but you can not have building quality, speed, internal space and luxury at the same time, not if you are not willing to pay way more then what Seawinds and condomarans cost.

    1600 looks ok, but you are right about all the other Seawinds. Finaly builder undertood that and 1370 has nice lines. Just they are too late for this design trend. If you look at the market leaders like Gunboat 68, you can see that sharp lines soon will be pushed out of the future designs.
