    Hai molto da imparare non sei nella condizione di insegnare. Allenati sei un allievo non un maestro. Non controlli bene la rotazione del coltello si vede che sei un principiante. Senza offesa ciao.

    Question is, how well does it work from 5-7 meters away from target.

  • @RoninSensei
    @RoninSensei2 жыл бұрын

    About the same as regular no spin. Just need to add a bit more stroke to the throw and it’ll travel further.

    Hey it's cheap and can be used to hack stuff without worrying to lose hundreds of dollars like you said, so it's all good 😁

    I really liked how you included the what I call zingers or rebounds . I see so many vids where they edit the misses . I'm definitely want to try your hand hold myself. Thanks for the video .

    Love the wrap. Oddly specific question: I notice there's an unsharpened part at the bottom. Does it come with 24" of sharpened blade or is that the overall length including the unasharpened part?

  • @RoninSensei
    @RoninSensei3 жыл бұрын

    I believe the last 2 inches is Unsharpened and it is added to the length total.

    Do you think you’ll ever have a tutorial on how you did the handle? I have a Cold Steel Wakizashi and I also dislike the handle

  • @RoninSensei
    @RoninSensei3 жыл бұрын

    Dremmel it down till it’s almost smooth and then take 550 paracord and pull out the center strings. I used probably close to 20 ft. And tuck the first wrap on top of itself. Use a little super glue to hold it in place every say 5 wraps. You can look up tsuka maki techniques if you like getting fancy. Finish it the way the finish traditional tsuka maki.

    Love those targets. They're stacked so your hitting the narrow sides too. Consider me inspired. The underhand looks effortless and the cross body back hand you put all your weight into. Sweet.

    I have been throwing for a few months and can generally bury them at that range. I have seen many styles and try to emulate them. I will definitely try the 2 finger no spin and a new way to under hand em. nice. One suggestion, breath when you throw and in hale after, it looks like you hold your breath when you throw. It helps me.

  • @RoninSensei
    @RoninSensei4 жыл бұрын

    Thanks for watching. I was trained to hold then exhale because the raising and dropping of your chest changes things in your body. This is an old habit (40 years) that has been so ingrained I’m afraid it would screw me up. Lol. I will try it anyways but, no promises on liking it..😉👍🏻

    Cold Steel knives are better for spin throwing. If you use no-spin throwing they are not so good, they do not have good tip, they are light and thin. If you would use some other kind of knives, for example arrows, they would stick often even in those throws when these Cold Steel knives do not stick. By the way interesting modification of throwing, thanks for inspiration.

    How is the grip on it? Slippery or good

  • @RoninSensei
    @RoninSensei5 жыл бұрын

    The grip isn’t bad. It’s a mat polypropylene handle you can add more grip easily by lightly stippling it but I find it’s grippy enough even when my hand is wet with chainsaw bar oil. I did this video years ago and it’s still my go to chopper.

    @@RoninSensei You may laugh, but I live in LA in a bad neighborhood and I've been searching for a good weapon to keep in my apartment other than a gun. This seems like it will fit the bill.

  • @RoninSensei
    @RoninSensei5 жыл бұрын

    RP T I won’t laugh I was raised in Inglewood.. I’m aware of how bad it gets out there.. go to coldsteel.com and look at the variety of machetes they sell. Some are made actually more for self defense. This one would work for self protection though.

    I think there are better things for desert heat. Candles and heat don't mix. I would go with cotton-balls and Vaseline in a zip lock baggy for desert conditions. If you take the time to coat the card board completely in wax it'll be water proof. Yes one dried it'll work. I recommend a blazer pocket torch as your lighter back up.
