  maybe i'm looking into it too much, but humperdinck's little confrontation with westley in the pit of despair feels *very* queercoded. "you truly love each other, and so you might have been truly happy. *not one couple in a century has that chance,* no matter what the storybooks say." the emotion in his voice in that scene, along with rugen just looking on from the side is just UGH. he was upset because he couldn't be with rugen because of his status as prince, and he took it out on westley who was in love with someone who it was socially acceptable to love 🙁🙁 anyways i love tragic gay people

  Jess and Zac's characters were absolutely my favorites, they were so hilarious. Jess's character intro made me crack up and her jokes for the stand-up challenge were actually really good while staying in character. and graNma sWeetie coming in for the heckle was like the cherry on top.

  This part made me miss hardly work. Ensemble situational humour. They said they will return to sketch again when it makes sense. I'd rather see a Curb your Enthusiasm insoired version of Hardly Working - broad strokes planning but improvise dialogue and edit the best together. The character work of Vik's show, D20's semi-open story structure, the technique and history of CH, plus the humour, talent, and culture DO is already cultivating. Give us the dry wit and cutting improv rolled into a messy beautiful Always-Sunny-esque heightened-reality docudrama thing.
