What about the basic dagger and curved blade with a clip at the base used by the 2009 skeletons?
Very well put, as I (as an adult) am not looking for a play set, but one for display. Historical accuracy would have been much more appreciated.
I dobt get this obsession to make women i to warriors. They just arent.
I dont like too much detail printed on the horses because it makes them less reusable. I have the prince of persia one with the carpet on it and I would have liked to use it as a black horse for my castle knights - but it doesnt fit because of the persian rug on it. The point of lego is that you can use to pieces to make whatever you want - so the more detail they add the worse of a lego piece it is really. The side detail should have been limited to the bardings so that you can reuse the horses in my humble opinion
Good🙂👍
Love the hideout and bridge. If inly there were instructions.
Do you feel the same way now after you've seen it? :)
Most Vikings were afraid to tell other vikings their true genders.
35 for 3 horses, a BURP and 4 minifgs isn't bad. However I wouldn't want to pay $27 for a battlepack. I would want to go towards 10-15 for 3-4 Minifigs and 1 horse + weapons, a rack and maybe a small siege engine.
I mean I had to wait in a queue for 12 minutes on Lego's home site when it was released so I think it sold well it would be nice to get some cheaper lotr lego tho
Hey I watch that guy
Hahaha
Pretty epic
I think lore wise, the current lego Vikings dont live in a world filled with monsters like their ancestors (2005 Vikings) did. So they're not a war like, what few monsters are left aren't as terrifying.
Did you only use pieces from the viking village? You should put up instructions I would buy them! Been thinking of taking apart the viking village and selling but would rather do this
Yeah, this only uses the parts from the set! Unfortunately, I don't have building instructions... I'm afraid the best option is just to pause the video a lot and try to copy it...
I really hope we get more then just the ideas set
You don't even have the set, how can you even do a review? The build is flimsy at best
Id love to see an artificer
do the 2x2 half and quarter circle pieces attach to the shields? or does it have to be a whole 2x2 circle piece?
*lego Minecraft horse and skeleton horse left the chat*
I would like to made a mermaid sorceress based on an idea I had, if I ever play DND
I find it funny yet depressing that the best chance at an official Master Chief minifigure is through a Fortnite theme.
Finally, a man who appreciates Lego beard accessibility God bless you good sir
Sorry I think this was faked
8:55 Channeled your inner Matpat there 😄
This has got me thinking, is it even possible to have a beard like Bombur's in real life?
Possibly
Double rowboats in genius for a longship. I used two red ones to make an old steamboat. Has that technique ever been used in a set?
Yes, I originally got the idea from a 2006 (I think?) Vikings set. The technique was also used in a 2013 Lake-Town set for The Hobbit.
They should use it more often, super cheap and quick way to make a good looking hull
The Little Mermaid head hair combo for the king, is a recolor from a Minidoll set
Too many one-offs that are used for a few characters and never seen again. Too much color locking, too.
Useful fact for viking fans: the new Gimli beard from Rivendale is compatible, and looks good with the realistic viking helmet! I don't see anyone talking about this!
Ive been looking at the 7 dwarfs beards. They might work well with some of the helmets with eye guards. Gonna check it out.
I made a similar dwarf barbarian, but added ice skates on top of the axes for a heftier look. Also used Gloin's beard from the Rivendel set in combination with Storm's mohawk from the Marvel cmf series. The torso I used is Bro Thor's, it may be fat for a human, but just right for a dwarf. Added a brown utility belt to frame the torso, and make it look bulkier. Currently my favourite fig :) Very much love your human knight design, I'll steal that torso/leg combo for sure :)
Sounds excellent, I'll see if I can pick up a Storm minifig sometime soon here (before prices rise)!
I found out my beard is worth some $$$!
I never realized Unagami had a unique beard, cool!
great video
You say second D&D CMF wave like we have a first one All we have a rumor
17th
5:34 the molds have broken, it's very expensive to keep them from not breaking
thank you, this could help track down some good beards for castle customs!
Great video! I just learned a lot about LEGO beards!
I miss the Lego Fantasy Dwarves so much. Such amazing helmets and beards
Really fun stuff, as stated in the video they fit in quite well as lotr dwarves too, which certainly comes in handy.
i really wish i had more beards, i espcially love the modern dumbeldore beard for wizards and medival blacksmith beard for dwarves
I need to collect some more beards, I don't have nearly enough.
Heres a comment for the algorithm!
*Second*... My king. Loving these sort of videos, might i suggest: "every lego animal", covering animal moulds. However, if there are way too many then please take no notice of this comment. Love your vidss! Edit: Might i suggest instead "every lego fantasy animal" to fit more with your style.
That's a great idea! Thank you, sir!
@@BricksAndDice PS: smaug needs to be at the number one spot 😉

just got a new horse. am i crazy or is its gap for the minifig shorter than in the old horses? my knight seems so high on his horse. (no pun intended)
I hope they do a zebbra one day but wild animals or savannah set definitely needed
Oh, that would be really cool! I'd be super excited to see if MOC-builders would use that for Castle factions.
The audio is kinda off sometimes
