  i played hollow knight and kind of liked it but tbh, checkpoints in this game were so far bethewen that instead of actually enjoing the atmosphere in the game and heaving fun i was 99% of the time on the edge of mental breakdown trying not to die, cuz if i die i would lose a shit ton of time getting back to the same place, to be honest hk would be SOOO much more fun if not how annoying the game is with the checkpoints, but thats my opinion

  @@NovaaZR by "easy but diable" I mean that it isn't hard, but you can still die to it, in contrast to the rest of the level, where you can die, and it's hard

  At the beginning: I’m pretty sure it was 5 frames, but you were holding A when you unpaused, and didn’t press it again until you paused, so it didn’t register

  I dont think so? I might have pressed A before the pause cooldown ended, but I think i really just hit the last frame of no jump window. Ill have to frame analysis later, but from .25x I definitely pressed A during the unpause

  I'm going to guess this game is 2 things: 1: a fan game not made by the original devs. 2: not made to be played on real n64 hardware and just replicates it's astetics.
