    Now who wants to be on their knees or bent over to run a splitter? Not me. I'd have some legs on it so I could work at waist height, and have some kind of platform or table mounted on the back side of the wedge to catch the pieces after they're split so they don't just fall on the ground.

    @@UncleMike1776 I will make a stand with wheels on one end to move it around and steel plates on each side of the beam and a large plate on the end of the splitter for the split pieces to slide on to so they don't end up on the ground.

    @@richardschaffling9882 I think I did a bonded title or something like that plus a lot of paper work to get the title in my name, but I got it handled it was pretty straightforward.

    I mow a cemetery and the trees are always shedding limbs. I have a bucket 🪣 strapped down that I fill up with sticks and trash. And I’ve found that if I keep the blades sharp and don’t hit sticks my fuel lasts a lot longer and I can cut a lot in less time. Keep those blades sharp because it will cause a belt to break. And the short one is about fifty bucks.

    @@UncleMike1776 I did it leaving interior trim, washer line, and electrical on 2018 suburban today(May 18th 2024). Just had the small electrical plug to undo. Your tutorial helped, it just seemed easier to me since separating those pieces anyway to leave under part on vehicle. Thank you for the help!
