Dads Advice

Dads Advice

Hey there! Welcome to all the Dad's (and Mum's) out there. After looking far and wide there just aren't many channels out there for Dad's....Well, as an upcoming first time Dad myself I thought I start this channel where you can find the products I have purchased and what I think of them!

Enjoy the journey!!

    We live in London too, why do you need a rain cover with the newborn pack?? It already covers the baby really well Also you’re putting the car seat on it wrong! Why are you folding the leg part before attaching the car seat??! Just detach on the sides and attach the car seat, duh!!

    1. Thanks for the really useful video, it answered both questioned I had and questions I didn't even consider. Preparing for a baby is hectic and your videos has really helped so I can't thank you enough. 2. I have three follow up questions I'd really appreciate if you could help with... A. which car seat is that you have there that works with the babyzen yoyo and will it work with baby zen 2? B. If I can get a baby car seat that fits the babyzen yoyo, can I just buy the 6 month + pack and use the baby car seat instead or the 0 month pack? C. Which other car seats are available that could work with the babyzen yoyo? Once again, thanks a bunch!

    How is the suspension on the stroller? Does the baby have a rough ride when the stroller goes over rougher pathways?

    Hey! I use de bassinet, and we discover the adaptors fold sideways. Doing that, you can fold properly the chair, otherwise they get in the way. I think it might be the same in those adaptors! Let me know if it help you. Thanks for the video!

    What was your experience with the BabyBjörn Travel Cot? Thanks!

  • @dadsadvice
    @dadsadvice11 ай бұрын

    Hi there, The BabyBjörn travel cot is great, very light weight with a very easy set up. The mattress is good too as it is firm and sits on the floor so it doesn't sag. The only thing I personally find a bit tough is that it sits on the ground so it's a long way down to put your baby on the mattress from a standing position. Check out my video on the travel cot here!! kzread.info/dash/bejne/inyC1MWikcKopbQ.html

    Hey, I just purchased yoyo2, Aqua, and the handle situation is pissing me off. I watched some videos and I heard click when it's fold down and I am wondering, is it a fault from factory or there are models without click sound and fixed handler? I am not sure what to do, return it or keep it as it is. Kind regards.

    You made eveything looking so complicated. I've been using this stroller for the last 6 months and the car seat seats on top of the newborn back if you don't fold the bottom bit. You can leave the carseat adaptors on the carseat itself and just click it in next time

    Hi, it seems that is a sound problem for this video. Why did you choose to buy this pram instead of using the yoyo?

  • @graciela3989
    @graciela3989 Жыл бұрын

    Another thing, I do not fold it! I carry baby and stroller under my arms haha Because, once you fold it, what do you do with baby that cannot still walk..? you carry it with you? This is heavy to carry. Our yoyo is new, this is why is hard to fold, but on day to day basis, I do not fold it. Maybe for the car trunk, yes, or train travels. Otherwise, not.

  • @graciela3989

    I know have the yoyo and it was a game changer. Now I can go alone in the metro, easily carrying up and down the stroller in the stairs without folding it (baby 7kg+stroller 7Kg is not heavy), plus once in the metro I fold down the handle and it only takes the place of one person...no excuses for not letting us enter when the metro is full (= all the time), specially on strikes times here in Paris. Is a game changer, go for it

  • @benyaminewanganyahu

    Was looking for a video about the yoyo, which this is not (it's about the newborn pack). Thank you and have a nice day :) Also FWIW, we never used our newborn cot - baby always preferred to be in a sling and they're not too heavy in first 6 months.

  • @leza4453

    I also used a baby carrier but still took the yoyo with me for my diaperbag&stuff and to put the baby in while sitting in a café/restaurant (because eating&trinking is difficult with a baby in a carrier). Also I used it sometimes to stroll up and down at home for soothing

    Very useful video thank you! I am only 5ft tall so I have had my eyes on this pram for a long time, as it seems good for someone my size. My partner is taller but not as much as you. Are you happy with your choice of getting the newborn pack over the bassinet? I see the pros of the newborn pack but also worry that it's not as sturdy as the bassinet. What are your thoughts on that?

  • @dadsadvice
    @dadsadvice Жыл бұрын

    Hi there! We got the newborn pack because of how compact it can fold which is a huge benefit for us! I think if we weren't going to use our pram for travel we would have gotten the bassinet because it looks a bit more sturdy and you can remove it which would be really handy! Another benefit of the bassinet is, I don't think there are seatbelt straps, in the newborn pack there are and our baby doesn't like them too much! Our baby is now 4 months and the seatbelts in the newborn pack are really tight too, we can barely strap him in!

    The pillow is not good to permit free head movements of the baby, it leads to plagiocephalia...baby needs to move his/her head freely, or it will be flat on the bottom. Do not put it.
