This is so much better as the "Pockets"-concert in Mannheim. There was a really funny musical chaos at the beginning of the tour. Seems like they could have practiced hard over the weeks 😄

I saw then for the first time on whim in a great bar in StCatharines "best bar i ever seen" MANY years ago and never heard of them.As soon as they started to play the sound was incredible i never heard anything like it sounded musical creative and clean sort of like "expensive sounding".After that night i spent the next days researching them and never stopped loving their music. A side story is that a mechanic shop i was at often the one dude knew one of the dudes in the band and said they had a binder that was huge full of songs never released hundreds of them.I always wondered or wanted to hear some of that unreleased music.

This sounds like Styx's Boat on a river-like versions of the Saga songs. Interesting, but not really what I was waiting for.

They were just the opening act for that band called... Saga! 🤣 And with hindsight it was the warm-up for the Symmetry album.

I think most, or all of the gigs were recorded. They did after all say that the initial plan was to release a live album. But then they figured they wanted to make new studio recordings, thus we got Symmetry (and I'm still miffed the deluxe edition didn't get a bonus live CD from these shows...)

Saga for me always has been quite a rollercoaster, with terrible downs, but with so many up's too, a cat track as frivolous as the swinging moods of a pregnant woman. This song definetely belongs on my Saga Best Of here on KZread, fantastic composition, the drumming sometimes is a bit bleak, but gosh, the guitar and keyboards !

@@dougpinnick9279 Aussi grace à Francis Zégut et Wango Tango ? Si je me rappelle bien, je crois que ça a dû être lui qui m'a fait découvrir le groupe. Il y avait un segment dans son programma qui s'appellait "la saga de..." La bande d'annonce promettait qu'un jour, on raconterais la saga de Saga. Et en effet, un jour se fut le cas. Cointreau faissait en Belgique des pubs pour des concerts, et un jour ce fut pour Saga. En fin de compte je ne les ai jamais vu live. Mais au Lycée j'étais le seul fan, entouré de fans de U2 ou Simple Minds.
