Thanks for the video. As paying ChatGPT user I don't really see the benefit besides the ease of use to rewrite. Am I missing something?
You know, it’s like going to the cinema instead of watching a film on your laptop. Someone asked this in the facebook group yesterday (facebook.com/groups/daveswift/posts/7910564285645214/). Here was my reply: I mean, obviously ChatGPT Plus can do darn near anything. Letterly is focused on a particular task. Like do you need a grill, if you can cook steak in the oven? If it's worth it to you, it's pretty reasonably priced ($59/once) for lifetime access, vs. $20/month for ChatGPT Plus. As I mention in the video, I'm personally leaning towards this being a feature built into iOS and MacOS, so I would probably not spend more than $59 on this product (e.g. I wouldn't buy 10 devices for my whole team).

Thanks. Interesting. Hi developers, do you listen to the comments here? Those two limitations will probably prevent me from buying: 1) Not possible for desktop (And cell phone plus destkop (if it will be available somewhen) should be included in Tier1). 2) 15 minutes limitation. Thats not enough.

Got it! Thank you so much for the feedback :) 1) We're working on the web version, coming soon. However, for the AppSumo deal (which we think is unprecedentedly cheap), you'll need to choose a tier based on devices. Tier 1 is suitable for those planning to use it on just one device. Sorry about that, but otherwise, it simply wasn't feasible for us! :( 2) We're targeting users who use apps for notes, social media posts, messages, and journaling, and from our user interactions, we know 15-min limit covers most needs. If you find yourself needing more than 15 minutes, you're probably interested in meetings. Unfortunately, we're not focusing on that segment right now because we want to offer the best experience possible! We may expand our focus in the future, but for now, to truly excel as an app, we're staying within these boundaries.

Haha, I just tested this by playing a podcast through my phone’s speaker while recording letterly and it worked. This is certainly not the most efficient way to do this, but I guess it works 🤷

Hey there! Honestly, Letterly might not be ideal for that because you have to record the whole video. There are services that let you just drop a video link and get a transcript. But if you're already watching the podcast anyway, adding Letterly alongside isn't too difficult! If that works for you, we're happy! :)

No, it’s meant for marketing emails. People that have given you permission to send to them. A high spam rate will get your account canned.
They are literally scam, don't be fooled by fake reviews, the only thing they want is to sell their subscription. They try charge my card everyday although i cancelled subscription

Sure you can! You can both have your own affiliate system to drive subs to your membership tiers as well as use affiliate links to generate income for yourself. Is it worth it? That depends on many factors. Ghost is a great platform for people who want to focus on publishing content.

Your thoughts about Layerpath vs Fable?
I haven’t used Fable personally, so I can’t comment on workflows, but LayerPath is much more visually pleasing to me.
Salad is an API and would most likely return a json. It’s more for automations and developers who want to build software on it, maybe they might build a front end in the future

@@dave-swift yup, its quite easy. if you have money and know the right logics and know which gpt would be more beneficial to use for the thing then you can also create one. I think you can also hire a dev to create this for like 150$ or something (it would have very bad ui though) but then you just have to pay for the API fees and if you thik of hosting it then pay for hosting fees to the base value.

By the way, Ive done a lot of testing "find duplicates" on two lists using AI and it's very unreliable. I've tested about 8 models and sometimes it "feels" like its working, because it can be "sort of right" but mostly it's not. Claude Opus was the best in my tests, but still sometimes way off and would agree with any correction I gave it, even if I was also completely wrong.

Tested it with a few My First Million podcast episodes. For English Languange I found it to be exceptionally fast and the results were spot on. I needed something in Romanian, but that isn't in the tool at the moment. Great app imho. Cheers for the review!

This software is super useful, I have been using it and cannot recommend it enough!
The reality is that unless we can validate their results (which is their secret sauce), all email validation services are a gamble. I appreciate ya compared them with a more established company, but again, the previous mentioned comment I made applies… With that said, it would have been nice to see them compared to like Reoon as well, which is live on AS.

No, this tool is for working on creatives, which would typically happen after your planning and strategy.
Excellent Review - There are some very needed (easy) features that need to be added ... such as turning your webcam off and on, etc. Otherwise looks promising. Hopefully one year from now improvements/features will be put in. Definitely a buy for most users
