I am totally passionate about the Costa del Sol and Andalusia. It is totally geared up for holiday makers with it’s blue flag beaches, excellent weather and resorts that can cater for all. But it’s so much more. The Andalusian peninsula where the Costa de Sol sits has an amazing 3000 years of history. During that time it’s been home to the Phoenicians, the Carthaginians, the Romans, the Vandals, the goths, the moors, the Christians followed by 36 years under Franco”s fascist state rule before becoming a democratic state in 1978. All these rulers brought there own culture, architecture and culinary specialties to the region.
This youtube channel takes a look at all of what the region has to offer. The attractions, the resorts, the history, the day trips and the culinary delights. The main website www.Yourcostadelsolguide.com has more information including google maps to every location on the video’s. These video’s will give you a good insight to the costa del sol.

Top hotel.greetings from amsterdam.👍😊👋
It’s an amazing hotel defo recommend ❤❤
Hey. Love the video. Very informative! Just wondering if you have any information about the VIP service. Do you know how much costs
No idea but it is in my opinion the best part of Torremolinos
Nice walk indeed but I miss some comments. Videos without commenting usually are boring 💤

Stayed in Toreblanca in 2022
How do you live over there as an Englishman? Do you have to have lots of money?
The man with the buggy! We always used the lift.
My favourite place ❤
Omg I’m going on the 7th of may till the 14th can’t wait !
Very nice walk! 🌸 I love April weather. ☀️
The weather is excellent at the moment
we stayied in this hotel in march on arriving the TV was broke the sink plug was broke and all week it rained we asked the hotel 4 times to put the heating on and they didnt. i had to wear my jeans and bobble hat in bed. instead of them putting the heating on we was offered extra blankets ... my mum is 84 years old and it wasnt plesant for her the cold.... in the breakfast and dinner room there is a microwave to heat your food up as there is no hot plates.. we had to phone down almost every day for our room to be cleaned.... it was not a plesant stay i doubt we will stay in this hotel again they are just out to give you as less as possible to get profit
Wow I’m really surprised. That’s rated as one of the best hotels in Fuengirola. The weather has been bad recently but that’s no excuse as the hotel is open all year round so it’s used to the cooler days. I will bare that in mind when I next review it. Thank you for your comment
@@yourcostadelsolguidecom They had all week to put the heating on the only thing i can think they was cutting back on there heating bill. when we went for christmas they didnt switch the heating on till 3am in the morning
Hi found you with your torremolinos market day. Is the market still on Thursdays ? We are coming on the 19th of may so would be going on the 23rd may. Is the market running yet ?
Hi the Market in Torremolinos is held on a Thursday all year around. The only times the markets do not run are when the fair is in town. Hope this helps.
I have just returned from Fuengirola after a week in Los Boliches. It was a most disappointing holiday where it was raining on arrival and frankly rained evermore, increasing in intensity every day. I couldn't go anywhere nor do much more than weave strategically around bars and restaurants while trying to avoid the risk of another soaking. I found the Thai restaurant i chose on one evening grossly over priced and the food quite tasteless and frankly bland. Doubt i'll go back. Thinking of spending more time at home rather than risk another Easter in the pouring rain because i can do that at home for free. 😢
That’s a real shame as for the rain that the largest downpour in 2 years. The reservoirs were down to 7% 2 weeks ago and water pressure has been turned down during the night. They are now at 30% and it looks like the weather front has died down now. Doesn’t help you in know. Would like to know which Thai restaurant you went to as there are several in Los Boliches. When the sun shines there’s no better place shame you had a bad experience
Do u know if the best triton hotel is open yet loved da vlog going over in June again jt love this place tk u
Not sure but I will be in Benalmadena next week and will have a look. The renovation is huge I’ve been watching the work over the last few months. If I remember I will include it on my next walk.
I drove from Cornwall to Plymouth, ferry to Santander, drove to Denia Spain and boat across to here Ibiza, my dog liked the trip. I didnt need to drive back as we moved here ❤
I’ve taken the Plymouth Santander ferry a few times. I enjoy the crossing the only problem is getting a dog friendly cabin they go really quick. Ferry to Ibiza sounds good will have to look into that.
Are mobility scooters allowed on the trains?
Yes when the train pulls up one carriages has wheel chair access. the step is parallel to the platform
❤
Thank you for this great review. We are going to the Hotel Barracuda in September it really does look good.I am now working my way through all your videos of the surrounding area.I also like your review of the train service on The Costa Del Sol that we will use when we are on holiday.
Using the train opens up a large part of the Costa del Sol have a look at a day trip to Malaga using the train. Enjoy your stay

You have pronounced the name of the hotel wrong the vowels in Spanish are A=Ahh E=Echo I+ EE O=Osca U=Ooh and people say Benalmadeena and that’s wrong have some respect for the Spanish and Spain and pronounce names and words properly please Respeto elos españolas
Maybe its dangerous
Nice sunny day for a walk 🌞
Is there a train that goes from Torremolinos to Gibraltar.
Is there no train service from Torremolinos to Gibraltar.
No the train service terminates at Fuengirola. To get to Gibraltar you would have to get to La Linea by bus then walk across the border into Gibraltar.
I want here with all inclusive for 14 days in 2022 and it was truly the best summer of my life. Life felt like a movie here and it was amazing i miss it so much. Food was amazing too
Glad you had a great time….
Is everything open in early April?
Sorry for the late reply the general rule is everything is open after Easter which is the end of March this year I believe
awful place
I went to this hotel in September of 2023 and it was absolutley amazing, 3 pools located in the same area, pubs, resturants and loads more, I went here with my whole family and only 3 of them were on the opposite side of the building and we did have an ant attack but the cleaners luckily got rid of them as well as mosquitos. I would definitely reccomend.
@medplaya
Thank You for the information
Stayed in the Yaramar last year in a superior room on the 14th floor, fantastic place great staff, good food recommend the yarabar and the happy hours 2 for 1 every night. Will be back in the near future.
I think the Yaramar is the best hotel on the front, it just looks awesome. Thank you for your feedback back.
Just came back from the yaramar yesterday, stayed on the 15th floor with sea views and pool view, it was amazing, staff were so so friendly and I loved it so much
As a hotel it could be better. Despite the sizeable apartments, the rooms are a bit ragged. The wi fi is unreliable as soon as you step a yard onto your terrace. A lot of the rooms are next door to private long term lets and this can be irritating if someone is 'living next door and not technically on holiday' as holiday makers like to let their hair down. PYR is also predominantly for either golfers or geriatric Finlandiers who reek of lipid oil. So if your a bit younger and hoping to bump into some tottie forget it. On the positive side, its central , near the beach and the staff are lovely. On the negative side the beds are uncomfortable, its not exclusive for holiday makers and elderly people can be quite rude and selfish especially with their elevator behaviour ( seeing you coming and pressing the button to close the doors) which happened to me and others several times. Avoid.
We are going there tomorrow! Thanks for the heads-up!
Have a great time and if you get a chance have a look at the Malaga Christmas lights. They are one of the best displays in Europe
Excellent Apartments. We were there many times.
They are in an excellent location
I search 3 days at fuengirola with m'y family....apparthotel 2 adultes 3 kids

That’s interesting….. I stayed there about 10 years ago but not as a tourist so I didn’t use the pool or many of the facilities
Has it availability to have mobility scooters

Yes 7 kilometres of promenade….keeps you fit.
