    What happens if someone doesn't have the blocked account but has someone working in Germany, and they are ready to accommodate and cater for expenses, is that a good move?

    @simplegermany This is very useful, thank you so much! Can you please tell me what is the minimum timeframe that should be mentioned as a gap in a CV?

  • @simplegermany
    @simplegermanyКүн бұрын

    It depends a bit at what stage in life the gap happened. I‘d say from a year onwards it should be mentioned.

    What is this? German B1?

  • @simplegermany
    @simplegermanyКүн бұрын

    There can be a difference between a level in an official test vs. speaking capabilities. We would say this is around B1/B2 level.

    Based on my experience, if you don't have the mentioned financial means for each visa and a certificate of language proficiency (even though you can speak at the level of B2), you cannot migrate.That's why millions of people immigrate ille/ally every year, and when they reach any European countries, the government exempt them from paying for anything but you, the legal migrant, should pay thousands of Euros for every simple tasks you need to be done. For example, I don't have Euro12,000 to be deposited for this visa, and although I speak English fluently (for a country like Germany that no one will respond to you in English), I don't have Ilets or Toefel certificate, each of those certificates needs at least $250 to be paid and it takes at least three months to be completed.

    So what if i dont have the financial means but i have family member who can who is a german citizen and can stand in with a commitment letter. Does it work??

  • @simplegermany
    @simplegermanyКүн бұрын

    In our opinion that should work. You need to show proof that your living costs are covered. That could be a blocked account, a scholarship, a letter of commitment etc. But in the end your local embassy who issues the visa needs to approve it 😊

    If your BA diploma is fully recognised by German but your work experience is different than your education, can you still apply for it?

  • @simplegermany
    @simplegermanyКүн бұрын

    Yes. If you have a fully recognized degree, you don't need to collect points, as we state in the video. The work experience can replace a fully recognized degree, which is great in case your degree is not comparable to a German one.

    I love seeing a "western" becoming aware of how life really is in third world countries. I am from Brazil and the point made here about security really hits home for me as well. As a very shallow example, as soon as you start making some money here which is already very difficult because of many socioeconomic factors, well from that moment on you should consider living in a gated community because it is borderline crazy to think I will take my <insert medium range car which is considered HIGH end in Brazil (eg: lower end Mercedes, BMW, VW Passat, etc...)> to the streets from my street house's garage. Everyone here will say you are crazy and you are "asking to get robbed" for doing that. That is something first world people cannot fathom in my experience. And this of course contributes to more and more income inequality because even mild economic success brings out the "i am rich" mentality, which is very detrimental to society here in general.
