Could you evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the S27DG60、FO27Q3 and AW2725DF? It has been confirmed that the A/D boards of the S27DG60 and the AW2725DF are from different manufacturers. Although it is widely known that Samsung's warranty for burn-in issues is not very consumer-friendly, making an extended warranty meaningless to consumers, haha! I'm also confused about the details of FO27Q3's HDMI 2.1 and DP1.4... whether it's superior to SS's 10G/4L, and whether the PS5's maximum 4K mapping can achieve 120Hz? What about VRR status? Can DSC be turned off manually? Also, what IC is used on the A/D motherboard? Additionally, I suggest that your future LCD monitor reviews include an introduction to the A/D board for each model.

Could you evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the XG272-2K-OLED and AW2725DF? Especially noting that the XG272-2K-OLED is a 2H2D interface monitor! It seems that its A/D board is relatively different from other 27" OLED monitors. Additionally, I suggest that your future LCD monitor reviews include an introduction to the A/D board for each model. LG 32GS95UE => real 10bit(non-frc) LG 27GR95QE & 27GS95QE => 10bit(8bit+frc)

If anyone has tips on how they setup HDR o this monitor I'd love to know. I use the ICC profile here, but the HDR looks terrible after using the win 11 calibration tool for it. Everything from steam ui and some games looks washed out to hell and colors just look weird.

Its sad that a 1440p 24" exists but not a 1440p 30" UW equivalent because they would have the same height and pixel density. In 21:9 you are forced to pick between 1080p 30" and 1440p 34" which both suck for small text reading without zooming in, it’s like choosing between a 1080p 24” and a 1440p 27”… I just want an 1440p 30" UW that would have the closest ppi to 2160p just like a normal 1440p 24”. Is that too much to ask for ?

currently deciding what to get, thinking about the LG WOLED dual mode 4K 240Hz / 1080p 480Hz after the alienware qd oled 4K 240Hz was out of stock, also i was mostly worrying about 2 big Windows being right behind where my >6y old monitor rn is standing, and sun shines in like hard for like half of a day!!! have only ever seen qdOLED vs WOLED in weak room lighting, so sunshine would be even more horrible for the qd oled right..?? should i Stick with ordering the LG woled one..?

Currently BenQ Mobius EX240 Lowest Priced @ $240 while the Koorui 24E3 @ $80. You could have a triple monitor setup with Koorui rather than Higher Tier brands here in the Philippines. I recently bought a Koorui GN06 basically the 27" version of 24E3. IPS @ 165hz same spec for just $108 ATM. Koorui also have the GN02 27" VA @ 240hz for just $100.

I use a 24" 1080p for gaming and 32" 4k for work. When I first got the 4k screen I was impressed with the text sharpness, felt like having a phone screen but then much larger. For gaming though, I wasn't that impressed. Obviously my pc isn't build to run games at 4k, but I tried playing some older games it could handle at 2160p on the 4k monitor and wasn't really that impressed, quality difference wasn't immediately obvious to me and it was more like just playing same game on a larger screen. I did notice there was no need to use anti aliasing on the 4k screen as it looked perfectly smooth without it. But for now paying that much extra for hardware to drive 2160p natively is just silly.

So much false info in the comments. First of all, the new models are 120hz, not 60. Secondly, the screen size is smaller if you’re closer to wall snd bigger the further you are. Who the F watches a 120inch screen from 30 inches away?? In what world?! Back up a little bit. The company says 3meters.

Hi , im looking for some suggestions. I'm in need of ultrawide, 29inch will be a sweep spot for me. Concerns are - they are mostly available in 2560x1080 resolution giving out 96ppi. 1. Will that be easy on eyes ? 2. at arm's distance is text pixelated ?. Are you able to read text (for 6-8 hours a day) at that distance comfortably ? Also, i'll be using it in grayscale mode and in split screen. so what options do you suggest ? Should i go for VA (as major use wll be in monochromatic mode) or IPS. Budget is a concern. Also, typing this form 15 inch screen 109ppi. so u have an idea of the kind of upgrade experience i can have.

These are not VR glasses. Completely different product. If you want a heavy toaster on your head that completely blocks everything out, meaning if I ever see you with it on in public, I can rob you and run away, go get the meta quest. These are so much more practical and easy. You put them on, and the screen automatically pops up, you don’t have to turn anything on, there is no wasted time loading. With the Meta Quest, it’s just like a computer, you have to turn it on, wait until it loads up. If you get a phone call or something happens, you have to take that thing off of your head, take the controllers off. It’s a freaking hassle man. These are so easy to use even while you’re on the go.

Thanks for the valuable info! I'm still using a 19" LG Flatron L1920P, 720p, with not many Hz I got at Best Buy in 2004. You think 900 euros is high? It was $780 US and 20 years ago that is equal to $1300 today! Now, I can absolutely tell the difference between that and my laptop I got last week (I really did), but that was a lot of money back then and I bought 2 of them (one was a gift). I'd love to have a just decent 22" or something up-to-date, but really, it still works like it did then and back then it was impressive, and damn well better have been at that price. I knew IT guys that didn't have one of these. The fact it's 2" thick, has a top bezel over 1" and a bottom over 2" (although there are controls on it), didn't matter; some folks till had CRTs! lol! I don't remember how many PCs I've been through in two decades, but the monitor is still good as new. I admit, when I use my laptop and especially when I'm in a store, I can see the difference at a distance. But still, it looks no worse than it did new, so I'm used to it and don't use my PC that much anyway. I'm not a gamer and a website or a few and some office docs are all I do with it. Still, as with TVs, I want to get something more sleek, so this video helps with the decision process. If I were a gamer, I would have gone nuts by now. Useless backstory. When I was buying them and checking out, Best Buy was insistent on my buying a 3 year warranty for EACH of them for only $140 apiece (they come with a 3 year warranty - it expired 17 years ago). I guess you have to say "no" so many times before they would stop. I mean they were relentless; "The pixels will go out in a year", and "Once they start going, they all go", then there was, "They all break". So, I said, "Look, am I leaving this store without these monitors, or are you going to sell them to me and ring me up"? I finally left with the monitors, no service contract and for 20 years mine has held up after moving countless times. It weighs 14.3 pounds; they don't make um like that anymore!

Just picked one up from Best Buy this past week, using it mainly for office purposes with MacOS. I have noticed, though, that whites look a bit grainy/fuzzy or whatever. Hard to describe.. is this normal? I’m just wondering if it’s the matte cover over the display that’s causing it.

By the way windows scales the ui with the resolution which means text will and icons will use the same amont of pixels, but they will look smaller. Thought increasing resolution would get rid of being able to see the pixels because it would give more like a rounded look, but turns out it doesn't because it just lowers the size of everything and ends up looking the same. The difference is that you need to get a little more close to see the pixels. But the fact that it makes everything smaller it makes space for everything too, so you have more space to work with, to divide the screen and compact everything even more with a higher resolution as you can fit more of everything.

I bought an LG and returned it. The blacks were so crushed and the colors were over saturated. Not to mention how dim it would get. I thought games a regularly played looked worse on it. Sure, at first glance it’s very eye catching because of how saturated everything is but when I actually used it for gaming and watching KZread/anime it just looked off. Oddly enough, the switch looked great on it
