  10:39 i hate to be that nerd but this footage is from Persona 2: Innocent Sin P2 is a duology, however only the second half (Eternal Punishment) was officially localized on the psx, that footage is from a fan translation made for the psx ver of P2IS

  Does anyone know this JRPG where u start as a female(I think? I forgot) knight/assasin and in the beginning everything was black and white, you play alone as her and u explore around but the area was rather gloomy and dark the story was lowkey depressing too.. but at some point u get party members then the game has colors... the game had elements too I'm struggling so hard to find it lol I played it on pc but I think it was for GBA..

  A shame that most PS1-inspired games are only limited to horror, being all dark and gloomy. When there were games on that console that were colorful and vibrant and there was so much more variety of genres than just being pure walking simulators with screamers everywhere. If only there was a PS1 style game that was different from the rest and focused more on reviving the golden age of JRPGs on the PS1 and that was as graphically beautiful as possible despite the low polygons and that people would see the old PS1 games in a different way. Well, I'm already tired of the absurd overvaluation towards pixel art that is taking place thanks to Octapath Traveler and the "HD-2D".

  The game can still be heard in the background… The music is even better and relaxing imo… It makes it easier to sit through the entire video with ease anyway.

  I played through most of this as a child, and it was a really big "unclosed chapter" for me. NGL, playing through this as an adult, meant a lot to me, it probably won't be the same for you, but if you can take it for what it is, the story is truly worth experiencing. It also has two sequels.
