  48V usually means either 14s LiIon with up to 14x4,25 = 59.5 Volt or 16x3.6 = 57.6 volt :-( With my solar car i boost the 24V (7s) up to 50V. So yes, 48 volt is okay. But my booster can only transfer about 500 Watt. So the 50V can not be held when there is a moderate load on the two motors. Others have successfully tested 12s Liion = 51 volt max. But motors really get hot with full load.

  stupid people always want to have everything faster :-( Double the battery voltage and in theory the motor will spin twice as fast. These cheap bldc controllers probably are not designed for 36+ volt. As i already commented here, with hoverboard controller and EFeru FOC firmware, you could boost speed by 20% with field weaking. The 25 km/h limit to make such a ebike street legal (in Germany) are a software limit. So with my "open source controller" i could drive faster. But i never tested more than 25 km/h because that's stupid.

  I made a 3d printed wheelbarrow tyre adapter and put it on thingverse. so you can use big tyres with small hoverboard motors.

  thingiverse.com/thing:6657711 . Yes i have a coreXY with 30x30 cm build plate to fit your adapter. Print time over 24 hours. What is the volume with solid print ? Looks like half a kilogram :-/ You should a 5mm height slice of the middle to test that the adapter will fit in the end. The outer diameter of hoverbaord motors can vary for +-1 2mm. the ones with 30mm magnets are a bit bigger then the 25mm. In your case you only have 20 mm magnest inside, i guess by the Merceds star on the side of the motors.

  ​@@robodurden I found the motors with the stripe were a couple of milimeters smaller but it could be fixed with a couple of strips of tape around the hub. the flower and star motors are the same size.

  Stupid Fun Project ? If you want to ride faster, then it probably will no longer be street legal. To make the motor spin faster you need higher battery voltage. Or a foc motor controller with field weakening. You can define the EFeru hoverboard to run with one bldc motor only.. I was able to increase speed by 20% activating field weaking with my little solar camper. Yes i guess you could modify the Arduino Mini firmware inside the motor to run without the screen controller.

  Better charge a 24V battery. 36V is only found with eBikes and hoverboards. These cheap mppt wind controlers (mostly) have a little step up booster to charge battery at low wind: de.aliexpress.com/item/1005006273365847.html Here is a wind/solar hybrid controler that says to also support 36V: de.aliexpress.com/item/1005003340726250.html . But i doubt that it really is a solar mppt charger. But i want to know what this hybrid charger does when 36V battery is charged and the wind power needs to be shut down or burned with a load. The cheap wind chargers can short cut the three phases of the wind turbine. You can also use the hoverboard controller as an active rectifier which can also step up to charger a battery. See my other video kzread.info/dash/bejne/dpOEyK1_ecbFm8Y.html But i do not know how the efficiency compares to the of-the-shelf products. With the hoverboard controller however you could give the wind turbine a push to start spinning.. Might be necessary because the hoverboards bldc magnets need some force to be overcome in order to let the motor spinning.. That is why i think that i needs at least a 2 meter diameter to make the hoverboard motor spin at moderate wind.

  Hallo Robo Durden Ich versuche seit ein paar Tagen, die Firmware meines Hoaverboards zu hacken. Ich habe alles versucht. Ich habe zwar eine Hex-Datei von lucyrausch draufgelegt, aber sobald ich das Hoaverboard einschalte, drehen sich die Räder eine Weile vorwärts und rückwärts und dann schaltet es sich automatisch aus. Ich versuche, es mit zwei 100bk-Potentiometern zu steuern, aber das funktioniert nicht.Ich verstehe nicht viel über Programmierung und mein Englisch ist auch nicht so gut. Gibt es irgendwo eine Hex-Datei, die damit funktioniert?

  ich bin wirklich kurz davor, alle meine videos zu löschen, weil Ihr alle eh verblödet seid. Es wäre wohl hilfreich zu sagen, welche hex datei Du wo heruntergeladen hast. Aber okay, lucyrausch bietet eigentlich nur eine einzige firmware an und die dreht nun mal nur zum test vorwärts und rückwärts. Jetzt musst Du eigene firmware compilieren. Ist in dem video hier erklärt. Gehst Du zu meinem online compile, wählst die EFeru FOC firmware und aktivierst in der config.h VARIANT_ADC.

  Hallo robo, ich denke das dieses Video nicht richtig objektiv ist. Was haben Sie von eine einem Gerät erwartet das gerade einmal 3800 btu macht.? Und Ihr Raum nur mit Folie abgedichtet ist? Bei Außentemperaturen von 50 Grad und mehr in dieser Region wo Sie sich aufhalten würde selbst eine Klimaanlage mit 12000 btu in einem normalen Gebäude aus Steinwänden an seine Grenzen kommen.

  For 12V battery, of course you should connect the two solar panels in parallel. Only if you had a 50 meters cable in between might higher string voltage makes sense. I think the powMR is rated for 150V max input voltage. See my other video on the input voltages of these 60A moot chargers.

  @@robodurden Ok, thanks a lot...🙂 Since I'm going to connect it to the vehicle, the distance is 4-5 meters. I'd better connect it in parallel to avoid risk because the VOC value is 80.4v in serial connection, although there is a slight difference, it is more than the max80V stated in the description for a 12 volt battery.

  Yes, if you have one big gate driver chip for all the three phases, than testing the 6 gpio pins is quite easy. I think i have seen only one board with different pins and that was a 32 pin mcu package. So if you have the standard 48 pin GD32F130, then you should be okay. And only test with a constant current power supply anyway.

  Thank you so much for making these videos. I have follow your suggestions to the "T" at least I think so. I am a complete noob. Quick question any suggestion on how to get rid of these errors? When i first connected the board it appeared to read the board. Then me being a noop I still did the disabled and checked the boxes and clicked apply. Now I have these errors listed below. Any thoughts? 08:50:33 : Could not set Option bytes! Please reset the target and retry. 08:50:37 : Can not read memory! Disable Read Out Protection and retry.

  which Gen2 board ? Which software ? I guess you are talking about St-Link-Utility-V2. Gen2 boards can not be flashed with this tool. To flash firmware use autoflash.bat or Keil Ide. But unlocking should work. For me it is always a try and error to find out what is working :-/

  Das Thema mit dem Krieg ist eigentlich ziemlich einfach. 1. Die Amis haben durch den Ukrainekrieg einen Grund das Wehrbudget auf 1500 Milliarden USD pro Jahr zu erhöhen, dadurch profitieren die dort beteiligen Firmen, durch die undurchsichtige Art und Weise der Geldflüsse können auch viele Menschen Geld bei Seite schaffen. Die Aktienbesitzer verdienen daran auch wenn der Kurs von den Rüstungsschmieden steigt. 2. Die Amis hätten die Russen dort gerne weg, weil sie den US förmlich in die Parade gefahren sind als sie die Terroristen in Syrien umgebracht haben. Somit war dann der tolle Teilungsplan der Amis gestorben. 3. Unsere Politiker von CDU und Grüne haben selbst gesagt dass die Saudis den IS unterstützen. Sie unterstützen die nicht nur, sondern geben denen US-Waffen, Technologie und Aufklärungsdaten. Anders wäre es für diesen Haufen angelernter Terroristen in Syrien nicht möglich gewesen die halbe Syrische Armee umzubringen. Deine Petition ist zwar nett, aber daran haben unsere Politiker kein Interesse und schon gar nicht die US-Politiker. Du erkennst ja selber dass wir nichts haben was die Bezeichnung "Demokratie" im Namen tragen dürfte, also werden die Bürger auch nie entscheiden dürfen. Was der Bürger darf ist seine Stimme abzugeben, man wählt dann irgend jemand der einem viel verspricht, die machen dann aber was sie wollen. Siehst du ja an den Grünen, aus "keine Waffen in Kriegsgebiete" wurde dann ""Waffen, Waffen, Waffen". Unmöglich was der A.H. da im Bundestag abgeliefert hat. Im Endeffekt kann man nur AfD wählen und dann hoffen dass man mit der Volksabstimmung irgend eine Verbesserung erreicht. BSW wäre auch eine Möglichkeit. Wenn wir nicht mehr bei den völkerrechtswidrigen Angriffskriegen der US mitmachen würden, sie vor allem nicht durch Propaganda durch unsere Medien legitimieren würden, das wäre schon ein guter Schritt.

  So sieht Russiche Chatbot-Propaganda aus die darauf abzielt, die unpolitische Masse zum Abwählen der Demokratie zu bewegen. Adolf Hitler hat auch Volksabstimmungen inszeniert. Meine Oma hat mir erzählt wie es ihr am Radio eiskalt den Rücken herunterlief als das "Volk" auf die Frage "Wollt Ihr den totalen Krieg ?" antwortete. Wenn also sogar die Grünen trotz ihrer weiterhin pazifistischen Basis Abwehrkrieg unterstützen, was wird dann wohl erst ein Reichskanzler Höcke mit seiner jetzt schon gewaltbereiten Basis tun ? Leider seid Ihr alle zu dumm mal den "Mein Kampf" vom Höcke zu lesen: "Wir erleben die finale Auflösung aller Dinge: von den Identitäten der Geschlechter und Ethnien, den Familien, den religiösen Bindungen über die kulturellen Traditionen, ... bis hin zu den schützenden und formenden Grenzen der Staaten und Kulturen." und "heute ist es der Kampf zwischen dem bewährten Nationalstaat gegen die grenzenlose Globalisierung. Wir glauben, daß das von uns präferierte Modell eines erneuerten Nationalstaats - von dessen klassischen Modell des 19. Jahrhunderts sicher einiger Ballast abgeworfen werden muß" und "Grenzen gehören zur conditio humana." und "Wer die Grenzen nach außen auflöst, verschiebt sie nur nach innen" und "Wir sollten Grenzen aber nicht nur als Voraussetzung aller Staatlichkeit ansehen, sondern auch ihre allgemeine kreative Macht erkennen..." und "Letztlich ist das Vorhandensein von Grenzen auch die Voraussetzung für das äußerst spannende Abenteuer, diese zu überschreiten. Das sollten wir uns nicht nehmen lassen. Als faustische Menschen sind wir Europäer dafür prädisponiert." (Björn Höcke, NIE ZWEIMAL IN DENSELBEN FLUSS, Kapitel KRISE UND RENOVATION) Deswegen sympatisiert die AfD mit Russland: Angriffskriege sind Identiätsstiftend :-(

  @@robodurden - Weißt du wer und unter welchen Umständen glaub der Hess die dort anwesenden gefragt hat ob sie den totalen Krieg wollen? 1. Man muss erst mal wissen dass diese Leute welche dort im Saal waren, von der Partei abhängig waren und eh schon so geantwortet haben wie sie meinten dass die Parteiführung es hören möchte. 2. Die Situation war folgende: Die Russen waren dabei gerade bis nach Berlin durchzudringen und die Parteiführung hat den Bürgern erzählt dass die Russen jeden Bürger umbringen werden. Aus der Sicht der deutschen Politiker würden sich die Russen für die vielen Millionen getöteten Russen und die vielen zerstörten Städte jetzt ganz brutal rächen wollen. Die Logik sagt jetzt dass du entweder nichts machst und auf Gott hoffst oder dass du deine letzte Kraft zusammen nimmst und versuchst die Russen zu stoppen, weil du sonst eh tot bist. Das war die Denkweise. Außerdem will ich mir die Unart verbieten jeden als "Bot" zu beschimpfen wenn dir seine Meinung nicht passt. Mache ich mit dir ja auch nicht ... robo. Ich habe in der Sowjetischen Besatzungszone gelebt und habe seit meiner Zeit im Kindergarten nur positive Erinnerung an die Besatzer. Im Westen war das Bild ja komplementär zu dem was wir gesehen haben. Außerdem sind sie nach der Wende nach Hause gegangen, die Amis sind geblieben und haben einen völkerrechtswidrigen Angriffskrieg nach dem anderen durchgeführt. Ich habe damals mit einem Leutnant bei der Bundeswehr die Soldaten für den KFOR-Einsatz ausgebildet die in den Kosovo gingen und da sind mir auch Ungereimtheiten aufgefallen. Als wir die letzte Kompanie für den Kosovo ausgebildet hatten (alle anderen waren schon weg) da wurde in den Nachrichten darüber geredet > ob < man Deutsche Soldaten in den Kosovo schickt oder nicht. Nach Wochen langen Diskussionen im TV ist man dann irgend wann darauf gekommen dass das notwendig wäre. Die Soldaten waren aber alle schon ausgebildet und schon da. Das Ergebnis stand also schon fest als sie den Bürgern gesagt haben dass sie sich das nun gründlich überlegen. Im Nachhinein wissen wir dass Rudolf Scharping die gezeigten Bilder genutzt hat um die Deutschen gegen die Serben aufzuhetzen, denn diese Bilder haben nicht das erzählt was wirklich passiert war. Man wurde von der Politik bewusst belogen.

  @@robodurden - Zu den Grünen, die waren immer schon mit den Amerikanern verbündelt und haben bisher zu absolut jedem Krieg JA gesagt. Der Joschka Fischer war mit den Kriegstreibern des Irak-Krieges beste Freunde. Nach der Politik hat er bei denen auch als Lobbyist gearbeitet und hatte seine Finger in allem mit drin. Ich war damals auch verblendet und meinte dass der Irak-Krieg ganz toll und gerechtfertigt wäre, nur war ich zu der Zeit noch unerfahren und wusste über viele Dinge einfach nichts, weil ich mich ausschließlich über unsere Staatspropaganda (ZDF, ARD) informierte. Die Amis haben da innerhalb kürzester Zeit 200.000 Irakische Soldaten umgebracht und durch die lange Besatzung, Terroranschläge und die fehlenden Mittel (Medizin, Nahrung) unter der US-Besatzung und Wirschaftssanktionen sind dann weitere 2 Millionen Menschen (Zivilisten) im Irak gestorben. Der BND wusste die ganze Zeit dass die Informationen welche die Amis da der Presse geben erstunken und erlogen sind, aber sie haben sie gewähren lassen und unsere Medien habe da mitgemacht, den Deutschen eingeimpft dass Hussein innerhalb von ein paar Wochen die Atomrakete fertig hat und mit Chemiewaffen Deutschland angreifen würde. Die Gasmasken waren alle ausverkauft, die Propaganda hat glänzend funktioniert. Und was war in Wirklichkeit? Die Amis haben die Saudischen Terroristen im Irak gesucht. Saudi-Arabien haben sie weiterhin schön Waffen, Panzern, Flugzeugen und Munition verkauft. Brachiale Logik! Die Terroranschläge im Irak, das haben Saudische Kämpfer durchgeführt, denn die Saudis hassen die Schiiten und damit eben auch den Irak mit der Schiitischen Staatsführung. Das ZDF hatte mal den Islamischen Staat in Syrien (ISIS) besucht und hatte dort mit denen vor Ort, in so einer besetzten Stadt gesprochen. Der IS hatte panzerbrechende US-Waffen (Raketen um die Panzer von Assad von den Dächern zu sprengen), sie hatten US-Scharfschützengewehre und US-Kommunikationstechnik. Die hatten in der kaputten Stadt Internet und ausgezeichnete Kommunikation, außerdem hatten sie Drohnen um Granaten auf die Munitionsdepots der Syrer fallen zu lassen. Diese angeblichen Revolutionäre und Freiheitskämpfer, so wie der IS in den Deutschen Medien bezeichnet wurde, die haben die halbe Syrische Armee ausgelöscht. Unsere Politiker Cem Özdemir, der hatte gesagt dass "die Saudis NATÜRLICH den IS unterstützen, das ist ja bekannt". Ganz ehrlich, ich wusste es nicht. Der Cem Özdemir war zu dem Zeitpunkt gerade vor der Syrischen Botschaft und hatte mit anderen Politikern demonstriert dass die Syrer doch bitte keine Fassbomben mehr auf die Terroristen schmeißen sollen. Es gibt dazu ein Video hier, der "Ken FM" hatte ihn dort interviewt und gefragt warum sie dann nicht vor der Saudischen Botschaft demonstrieren. Kann man ja nicht, denn wir sind ja von deren Öl abhängig, man beißt ja nicht die Hand die einen füttert, nicht wahr? Mich würde interessieren wir du dir den Irak erklärst und die Lügen die massiv verbreitet worden sind. Wäre bestimmt interessant, denn meist stelle ich die Frage dazu und dann kommt von den US-Unterstützern nichts mehr, die sind dann einfach nicht mehr bereit zu antworten.

  Hi i have a lot of these boards for the things i make but how do i get more torque out of my 350 watt motors with these boards because the taotaos for some reason have a lot more torque than of brand ones i make my own program for the boards so if you know how to fix that i would be happy to hear

  Hello RoboDurden I had the same problem as you, I burned two cards. Thinking about it, it was each time after flashing the Emanuel Féru firmware with the nunchuck variant. I reconnected the card without having connected the controller. the motors ran at full speed for 3 seconds then stopped. Each time 2 mosfets burned on each card Any idea ?

  Cool project! My daughter has the same one with dual motors. Only one side the mosfet keeps blowing up. Both wheels work fine on the other side so I’m now removed the mosfets that shorted and she can play with only one motor. Do you have any advice how to trouble shoot it? Do I need a oscilloscoop to check the PWM? Any advice would be highly appreciated. Keep up the good work always watch your videos.

  watch my hoverboard repair video on mosfets. Normaly a pair of mosfets blows. the high side and low side of one phase cable. It is worth trying to replace them. but if they blow up immediately again, then the mosfet driver is broken too. If it is a sot8 chip, you might try to replace it as well.

  @@robodurden yeah replaced the pair and then two others on that side blown after the motor worked a bit stuttering and wouldn’t start without giving it a swing. I’ll try looking into the mosfet driver thx

  @@tworoelio for testing. the other two mosfets would not have blown but only have gotten hot and you would have turned off power because you already knew that something was still wrong.

  Are the hall sensor wires necessary for the motor in order to operate? I'm using it on a electric bicycle with pas (pedal assist)

  These heave bldc motors used to not work with sensorless bldc controllers. Don't know if this has changed in the last 20 years. If your motor only kicks in when you are already peadling, there could be low load on startup. So it might be worth testing these 10 Euro bldc controllers.. with hall sensors you get recuperation for free..

  Nice to see you here again. No space for nice MCP4728 on my little pcb: www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006272473960.html I would like to use the two 8bit interal dac but DAC_2 is broken (tested all my S2 Mini..). So i use 10 kHz 8bit pwm with a 100 nF low pass: ledcSetup(CHANNEL_DacOut, 10000, 8); more bits or kHz should be no problem, but the 8 bit are enough for me. But i only have about +-10 Volt i can adjust with these 8 bit. That is because of the 10 kOhm resistor to dampen my dac input. With 5 kOhm, i guess i could control maybe +-20V. I remember that you would like to control the full 1.4 - 79 V output range. Then you would need even smaller resistors R9 and R10. And yes, 8 bit would be bad. I have uploaded v2 to my github. When i can solder the S2_mini to the backside, this might also work for the MCP4728.. The LT8705 could make use of four dac channels as it can also handle input_current and output_current ... I do the output_current regulation by controlling the output_voltage :-/

  @@robodurden the reason to use opamp as output follower is too increase output driving capability so I can control the full 1.5~30/80v But seems like sometimes it's not really necessary as some commercial design just have simple rc filter straight to the feedback Indeed my very cheap digital module control the constant current by voltage but with a very bad PID loop, so when I use constant current to drive led as studio light it flickers horribly in camera I had to use constant voltage insted

  A great honor for me that you visit my little channel here. The "awesome" job is yours, not mine. I want to ask if we can dream that you will port your better firmware to GD32. Next, I may make an efficiency comparison between your sinusodial drive mode to the bad old GD32 Gen2 firmware and to the simpleFOC Gen2 firmware. And i will not be surprised when your MM32 firmware is on par with FOC motor control when only energy efficency is on test.

  @@robodurden it is possible to port this to stm32f103/gd32f103, but we already have gen1 so theres no point the gd32f130 does not have hal library so it cannot be ported/can be ported but will take allot of effort to adapt the f103 library to f130 since mm32 board is built down to this $2 price i dont think theres any point anyways the sine wave mode is definitely a huge improvement for effiency and torque,especially at low speed,i would love to see the comparason of mm vs gd vs gen1too but im pretty sure for now the sine wave mode on gen1 is still better, because the hall sensor mechanical position is not calibrated yet, so some minor vibration is still caused

  Sure, you can only use the master board and have the on-off button. Or only the slave board, which mostly needs to be powered with additional 12V or 15V on the master-slave connection uart header. But you could also use the EFeru firmware with the good old Gen1 board (if you are lucky to still find it in an old used hoverboard) and enable only one motor. EFeru has nice FOC motor control. My GD32 Gen2 firmware only has basic block commutation. AiLife with his new MM32 firmware already offers sinusodial motor control: kzread.info/dash/bejne/Y3eWpcaDhpngd5M.html

  Our gen2 firmwares need $2 esp32 to control via serial connection. Esp32 can read potentiometers with analogRead function.

  The problem with all these Voltronic Power rebranded inverters (past, present and future models) is not the output waveform. Is the software, with its configuration that fails when it is least expected, and the questionable selection of chinese branded electronic components. At the end, you get what you paid, a cheap inverter that can fail at any time.

  I recently bought this same model of Mega truck, although diesel. There is barely any information about these anywhere, so its very cool to see another grown ass man using it as enthusiasticly as I will be!! There's one thing I want to ask. The front shock absorbers are connected to the frame rails through the plastic body. Have you needed to repair them? My body has torn off, so I was wondering if this is a common issue with these trucks.
