how do you got 7hrs i barely get 6hrs with power saver on
Many things can affect the battery. The efficiency of an app's code like KZread vs Tubi or even the level of reception can shorten the screen-on-time. That's why I stick to the same apps for all my tests, to help remove as many variables as possible. Otherwise, screen-on-time would not be a reliable measure of battery life.
Ur so underrated
My battery is not holding up Im getting like 4 hours of screen on time with 10% left
How much time is your phone off the charger and what types of apps do you use? Screen-on-time can be affected by many variables.
Great tip don't use a phone as your main camera 😂. 1:23
Using a DSLR or mirrorless will produce the best results, but the phone is always nearby while a relatively large camera likely won't be.
My next phone co's the price is respectable with SD 8 gen 3
What about connectivity???
I don't really experience poor connectivity with any phone, I have great coverage where I live.
Ultra is out for me with the uncomfortable boxy heavy design. Went with the S24 Plus.
I completely understand. I miss the old days when the Ultra and Note were their own products. I always went for the ultra for the cameras and never felt the desire to get the Note.
I get through a day pretty comfortably with my Z Fold 5 and I'm a fairly heavy user.
Thanks for sharing. How many hours of screen on time on average? I'm never close to running out of battery with my normal use.
My husband has razor and his photos are never blurry like shown. I also looked intensely at it for center dip or line and it’s just not noticeable. I wonder if either he got a not quite right phone or my husband got a fluke perfect one.
Ive just moved back to a flip 5 after a few months with the s24ultra. Once you get used to the physical size, regular phones just dont cut it. The camera on the flip 5 is very good. The 24ultra camera didnt impress me even with all the lenses. Looking forward to what the flip6 has in store.
Same here, looking forward to flip 6. Let's see if they follow what Motorola did with the Razr+, swapping the ultra wide with a telephoto lens. And the main sensor is reportedly going to be improved. It might be a good upgrade.
@@phoneux photo quality on 2x even 5x digi zoom is pretty good still so as long as the upgrade the sensor to 50mp I'd be happy. Would prefer an optical zoom over the ultra wide but bigger sensor more important to me. We shall see soon hopefully. Great video by the way.
@glyno77 thanks!
4g+ carrier aggregation support?
As someone who doesn’t change phones easily.. like i went from iphone 6 to X till now n finally decided to change (by force since iOS don’t update anymore), I find your video so helpful. Time to get out of iPhone zone into android zone.
Thanks. I'm glad the video was helpful.
My custom alarm song does not get saved for some reason always gets back on the default
The weather icon is how you have it set up. Mine does not do that. The Razr is way better than the Samsung. I have no problems with the camera.
I'm not sure which setting would cause the weather icon to flicker. I started noticing that the number of times it flickers is related to how many notifications I have.
Honestly i think they both have pros and cons and mostly i guess its just preference
💯
Yes never issues with any of my flips folds. Ppl that normally have issues with the phones are they ones to rough on them. With cracked screen and such. Motorola has the grease down much better.
I wonder what you guys doing with the phones? I still rock the flip 4 with no issues, I use it every day even at the gym with not an issue ever.
i have flip4 last all day. but i dont have blutu or location or wireless on.
all I really have to say is for the Z Flip5 for the camera is that most of the reason it works well is AI and that is mainly it so it is okay for taking pictures that you don't want to edit but if you more of a person who wants to care about doing editing yourself the Razr might be the one you like
I can't agree with you there. The z flip5 has a much larger sensor. If someone wants to edit the photo without all the AI editing, they can use pro mode and get the raw file.
maybe with their new hello UI they can be more competitive
Man your video perfectly supports landscape mode without zooming Thumbs up
I’ve had my flip5 since launch and I’m still loving it 10 months later
Are you going to upgrade to the Z Flip 6?
@@Super-c00n no I don’t think there will be enough changes to the 6 for there to be enough of a reason to upgrade yet maybe by the 7 or 8 if there’s been a big change I might upgrade
How's the battery life experience so far?
@@reverend_wintondupree for me really good I’ll charge it in the morning to 100% and then by the time I go to bed it’s usually at around 60%
Can't wait for zfold 6
I've been wanting a z fold for weeks now I'm waiting to see what the z fold 6 has and whether it would be worth buying that or the 5
Have been using it for almost 4 months. Good phone.
I currently have the s23 Ultra and I've been seriously eyeballing a flip phone. I had the fold 3 before my s23U and it was way too fat. I came to this phone and just not happy with the size, so a clamshell really appeals to me. Now, I'm torn between staying with Samsung and their ecosystem, and maybe the 2024 Razer Plus. I actually like the looks and form factor of that better than the Sammy Flip phone, but not sure how everything else Motorola is these days.
Great video. does the RAZR get you through a day?
I haven't done a full day test to see how long it actually lasts. It really depends how much it's used. I suspect it would last a full day with light use (less than 4 hours), but I doubt it could last with heavy usage. I'll work on a video to test the Razr's battery.
This was a great review. Definitely one of the best ones I've seen so far. Liked & subscribed!
Thanks for the sub!
Anyone please send me one....😢
The issue you just described with text lag on the Razr - I've actually had that a number of times on my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra - seems to be primarily when typing comments on youtube. This makes me wronder if that might be an app/android issue rather then an actual RAZR issue. I could be wrong though.
I have the same issue with my 24+ in Messenger and when typing a text.
Good video but you totally missed the mark on covering Good Lock which is a Samsung app that totally changes the cover screen and gives you the same functionality that the Razr plus has.
I agree that Good Lock unlocks that capability. I have other videos talking about Good Lock and the cover screen app drawer. But no improvements have been made to the default cover screen app drawer in the time the Flip 5 has been out. The Razr+ has the ability to add most or all apps out of the box.
If this is by no means biased towards S24U, then I'm genuinely impressed by how the camera is waaaay better than the camera on S23U, because in my opinion the photos on 23 would end up looking mid and really underwhelming considering it was the latest, best and most expensive flagship up until january 2024. But on S24U its almost too beautiful and amazing how its clearly a lot better, especially in low light situations.
No bias on my end. All I did was hit the shutter button and upload the pictures to my PC.
@@phoneux thats amazing, glad the 5x didnt disappoint on S24U. I'm thinking of getting it and I need my camera check lol
Good review
Thanks
I've had the Flip3, 4 and 5. While the battery has been improved, its still pretty bad. I will never go back to a non-folding phone, but i warn people who want to buy one
Just ordered the razr+. Great video.
Doing the same
i am looking at the samsung silcone case for my flip 5 is that a good case ???? nice wright up peace out
I had the Samsung silicone case for the Flip 4, but I imagine it's the same quality for the Flip 5. The only thing I didn't like about it was that it was bulky compared to cases of other materials. I didn't feel like it was going to break down or anything like that.
@@phoneux thank you i am looking at the spigen case it looks light and not bulky
How do you find the battery life for both of them? Such a great video, I'm also debating about unihertz Titan just bc I'm sick of just rectangular no fun phones
It depends on the type of use. They are fine for light use, or if you have a setup that keeps them topped off. I'm releasing a video about a full day experience with the Z Flip 5 on Friday with actual screen on time details.
bro is this a new channel or am seeing copyright material from some bigger channel

Surprised a phone can lag in 2024. I just bought the razr+ all issues you talked about fixed. Imma turn off auto update until I can confirm it doesn't bring bugs. I had my last phone for 4 years never lagged one bit never updated. As fast as the day I got it.
I get 7-8 hours SOT on pixel fold
I get close to that on WiFi, but I haven't reached that while on a mobile network.
OnePlus Open just has the worst reliability, I have one, within a month of use, there is s whole big line of dead pixels in the inner screen. The frame also chips so easily, i barely touched it against some table top snd it scrapped a piece of paint off.
Great review. You're doing a great job for a guy just starting out. Keep up the great reviews.
How you coustmised lock screen like that.? Please explain
I didn't change much on the lock screen. The custom app shortcut is in Settings > Home Screen and Lock Screen > Lock screen shortcuts. The fingerprint animation can be changed in Settings > Wallpapers & styles > fingerprint animation.
Today I saw 2 kids eating rice with water. Just getting it out of my heart. you're very lucky dude I mean like very lucky to care about a phone and not abt hunger of your kids
Great video
Thanks!
Minute 2:23, both devices are using 5x zoom?! if so, s23 ultra is perfect for me, I thought its 5x would be crap, I'm thinking of changing my s20 ultra, and with this video, if it confirms that both phones are set to 5x, then I'm sure to buy s23 ultra
Yeah, the iguana photo in the timestamp is 5x on both phones. The 3x lens shows its weakness as the zoom reaches 10x. It's not bad at 5x.
@@phoneux Thank you very much for the confirmation
@XxSenpaiixX of course
What are your thoughts on green line issue in oneplus... N how deal with it if it occurs..? Planning to buy.......
It's hard to say without the actual numbers. For the most part, issues appear worse than they actually are because the negative experiences are what's shared over the positive ones. Also, every phone has defects, but the data isn't shared publicly. If it does happen, the service experience with most phone manufacturers is iffy at best. It's not something that I have experienced, so I can't say for sure. The best advice is to have a backup phone if you have concerns. Maybe keep your old device instead of trading it in.
How much did they pay to you ? It is making no sense comparing them as you did.
I use the clock thats on One Plus.....simple solution
I got the motorola razr 40 about a week ago and it has one of the best battery life's I ever had. I have a iPhone 15 pro max and it has just as good a battery life or even better. I also have a Samsung A54 and it does not come close to the motorola razr. This is my first foldable phone. I love the foldable phone. I believe when I will be able to upgrade i will go with the motorola razr plus phone whenever the new ones comes out when i am able to upgrade.
