Imo Bonus points should have been given
I will always remember this run. They may have got disqualified but they won the night anyway for years to come. What good horse, no panic just kept doing her job even when the bridle was swinging in her legs. Rider leans to grab it and proceed with bitless run to perfection! Shame that they disqualified for protecting the horse from an injury from the tack. But they won something in many ways bigger than the title. Honestly they title they were competing for seems like second place.
Awesome horse with amazing rider
That was incredible, what a mare! Total trust between horse and rider.
I love that. It comes to show that horses understand what they are out there to do. Race, dressage, Western horse. The training isn't moment to moment, they remember. The bridle isn't actually the only reason the horse does what it does. They are trained professionals. I'm very proud.
What a beautiful girl! ❤💪❤
Broke to death - and beautiful. Should have been given a special award for just showing how it should be done under incredible circumstances.
This would never happen with a dressage horse, jumpers yes. But not dressage.
What is up with all these videos with people competing with broken bridles? What kind of trash are people making/buying these days? This never used to be a thing. Bizarre that bridles are just popping off all over the place.
Conchos with screw backs, if you don't practically glue them down they can come undonem
Awesome!❤
Bridle less should be a new class!
And this is why horse people from all disciplines respect the reining people and their horsemanship.
SHOULD HAVE WON
Amazing mare, great respect for both rider and horse.
Should have gotten MORE points for the bridle-free round! I know it doesn't work that way, but that mare is a gem!
Trully amazing - loved watching
He shouldn’t get disqualified for picking up the reins and headstall with two hands when they’re NOT EVEN ATTACHED TO ANYTHING! That baffles me
What a ride and what a horse!!!! Shame they had to disqualify the pair of them but it was a safety issue in reality she could've tripped and injured herself if the bridle got tangled in her legs. But OMG that run would've been a top scoring ride if he hadn't had to pick up the bridle with both hands.
Yep 2023 & i STILL remember Dan & Ms. Dreamy❣️🤣✌️
Awesome
lol yes one of the adults at my barn who i do talk to every time i go she is the sweetest. yesterday she was riding her horse in an ear stall and it would just keep coming out lol. sometimes they just never stay but his reason was probably something different too
He shouldn’t have gotten disqualified. I mean, he had a logical reason to go with two hands for a second. It was for the horses safety
🥰😍👌🏻🥳🥳🥳 Best Show Ever!
The horse seems to know that it's a ranch dog.
Corey it’s me Gio Marino tell Lincoln and Caleb I miss them
Hey there, Asian here. new subscriber, love the show! Kinda miss watching horses like in Heartland series. Finally found this, I'm so happy right now! 🥰
The horses ARE most certainly the stars❣️love them four legged athletes❣️❣️❣️🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟♥️‼️
I am in love with Mitch.
i am brazilian and love reining❤️
Who is the mare?
THIS is a fantastic little mare. This was a great display of the synchronicity between horse and rider. Such trust.
Good job cowgirl
Outstanding 💯👌🏼
what an amazing AMAZING horse and rider combo, thats the coolest thing when disaster strikes and you overcome it!🥰👏👏👏
all about the horse the rider is just for show lol
Singapore 2022 here. Yellowstone got me here. Good luck to next year's riders....
That's horsemanship and great riding!
Hat off to you sir.
Good way to get kicked
░p░r░o░m░o░s░m░ 😔
Dang, what a tuff bunch of horses n riders. .
Sad you might not a winner tonight. But God had reason for this bridle to break.Showing what she really does know her JOB.
Not It was maybe a breakaway but didn’t break on its own It was fixed These people are showmen or show of men
That should be first place hands down. He did the whole bloody thing with no bridle. That’s solid training and total trust from the horse.
I'm lost in the sauce in this... What was the whole point of this... Was it pressure and realse? Or something
I haven’t been around horses nearly as much as these guys have, and I’ve never had the time or opportunity to bond with one like these guys do, but I do have a working service dog that I would say is a similar bond to what I see here. She has a job to do, and that’s to watch me, listen to me, and do what she’s supposed to do when I tell her to, and she absolutely loves working. Nothing gets her more excited than when I put her vest on to go out! Except bite work, but that’s another story. She reads me, I read her, we communicate and work together to accomplish what we have to do, and that’s what I see here with these guys and their beautiful horses. It’s a powerful bond, and I’ve never experienced anything else like it with any other animal. I love working with my dogs, and they love to work.
Actually he is his sire
I have one of his sons or he might be a grandson not sure
That horse won that competition.
That horse is amazing!
