I need some people’s opinions. I’m looking at buying this 6.0 with a stage 1 turbo, intake and studs and some other stuff done to it. Will the tuner automatically tune all that stuff to run together or not?

It is most likely already tuned to be honest. Changing anything on the 6.0 basically requires a tune. Some ppl run injectors up to 100cc bigger without a tune but in my experience and opinion they are being quite foolish. Not only did they spend gobs of cash on better performance parts, but literally throwing money away without spending the extra few hundred for the tune to get the most bang per buck.

I have a x900 too, if it takes that long for it to stsrt then you need a new glow plug controller or new glow plugs. If you hold the glow plugs on that long, they will burn out. Never hold them on for longer then three seconds.

Hope this helps: The Plow Solenoid you bought, you should replace it with a Western Geniune part because it needs to be a continous flow solenoid, I've seen starter solenoids used in place and its a short term solution till you burn it out. 05-07 trucks had coil sprung front suspension and the angle brace towards the frame have a sway bar in the way so 99-04 mounts don't work.

Im in the same pickle as you no info and i have a airflo plow i ran my wires the same way you did but my harness is like few inches short of reaching that passenger harness and i dont have the connector for the passenger harness i have the connector for the driver side hope mine works without connecting light harness only time will tell thanks for your video. The little red wire in cab i had no idea where it went but now i do.

Excellent video of the lack of plow support out there for the early 99-04 models! I have an 04 with same plow and custom mount that extends plow about 1’ from the nose, it’s a huge struggle for the front end so I installed the airlift 57154 air bags on the front leaf springs and it completely cured my saggy springs and for only $300 it’s a must have upgrade imo. Also be sure to swap out that plow fluid and filter, same as you I got mine used with moderate use and there was quite a bit of sludge buildup in the bottom of the pump reservoir! I had to use a heat gun to warm up new filter nipple to be able to press into plow pump, almost broke new filter assembly because it’s such a tight fit. I have a headlamp bug that flipping on the high beams kills all lights so have to tackle that or just mount up a new more modern led light bar in place of the factory lights.

Not at all, blown head gaskets in 6.0 are 95% related to a bad egr cooler clogging up your cooling system. Doing THIS with a clogged up system will make your headgasket go. But stock headbolts will hold up to this.

They sound better under load. I built a 95 bronco 2 years ago during covid and when purchasing exhaust I had no idea what to buy. I wanted it to sound tough but didn't want it super loud. I picked a Flowmaster y pipe, converter ( in NY some shops won't pass the inspection without ), and a 40 series. With the JBA headers it's perfect. No tailpipes yet so there's a little drone at speed but turns heads everywhere I go. And neighbor annoyance level is low. I think?
