  Hi I sat for my matric 11yrs ago but I’m upgrading my maths this year. So I’m still struggling in some places. On question 1.1.4 how do I change that 486 to 2 x 3 etc? Like how do I work that out on my calculator?

  thanks I think the graph for no1 is incorrect the TP and also no5 the reason why (c) is incorrect is because with some negative integers and zero not only zero but all choices of answers you made are correct

  There are two papers for the nbt exam, AQL and MAT, the MAT is for students who want to continue in a study that requires pure maths. Since you only do maths lit you should only do the AQL

  Hi So what happened is that the square root of x is the same as x too the power of a 1/2. In the equation you'll see that the square root of x became x too the power of a 1/2. Therefore if you multiply x too the power of a 1/2, times, x too the power of a 1/2 it will give you x and the two halves will be added together too give 1. Which will be x too the power 1. x too the power of 1 is normally just written as x. I hope this answered your question.
