I do urban walks, I do rural walks, but most importantly I do interesting walks of lesser explored neighborhoods and places that have stories to tell. Join my first person view walks while I share some history and insights on the areas and neighborhoods we see and experience together.

Floriduh* will become a series of islands.
where's all the clubs and bars?
@chrishepp4429 not much of that there. There is at least one bar on Cleveland Street, but it was early during this walk, so it wasn't yet open.
I know the guy who owns that Theatre. Lol
A religion taking over an entire city? Meet the Mormons.
The Mormons didn't take over Salt lake City, they built it from the ground up
Do “churches” pay property taxes ? If the answer is no, this could break a city.
no...& this one is a Cult.
It's interesting we have these so called I have a right to film anywhere I want to and you can't stop me blah blah auditors for regular government and police and be their pain in the butt but where are they with the GD scientologists?
Nice brother! I’m a fellow walker🥳
I worked at Fort Harrison for 10 years, and it used to be much more open to the general public. During my time there, I witnessed many instances of people entering the property with ill intentions, causing trouble and whatnot. On many occasions, individuals, including members of the press attempted to get in with cameras. Unfortunately, this may have spoiled the experience for genuinely curious visitors. However, if you're interested in learning more, you are welcome to visit the receptionist and ask questions-just avoid aiming a camera at them while doing so.
Find out what's going on in that big metal Scientology building on the corner of Hercules and Calumet. Weird and creepy place, very big, only one door and no windows. Perhaps Scientology prison?
Its a warehouse, ive been in it
@@WolfLarson Did they have you in a cell?
@@fmills1583 haha
Scientology isn't a religion, It's a REIT.
Scientology isn't a religion, it's a cult and it's designed to eventually deplete a persons like savings, they discard you on the street. There are quite a few senior Scientologist living on just social security and Medicaid in flop houses in the center of the city. They also own most of the flea bag motels surrounding the Ft Harrison Hotel, they use to house their green and brown jump suit inductees in them around 15-20 years ago. One thing about the rain, it keeps those black suited Gestapo storm troopers off the street.
Sometimes you wonder what councilman or senator or mayor or all of the above who agreed to let them buy pretty much all of clearwater beach prime property without taxpayers consent or knowledge, some dirtbag (or dirtbags) made a lot of moola 😞
America!
omg i had no idea, i will stay away from clearwater for sure now, i live in se florida. Plus I hate tom cruise. who pays taxes there????
What a great tour! Born and raised here i have seen it all but learned alot from ur walk...awesome work. STAMP OUT SCIENTOLOGY!
@@Kane_B2 thank you. I appreciate that.
@@RurbanWalker it was interesting to see the foundation for Lisa's video showing how deep Soo many of the cpd are deep in the pockets of this abomination. Including our wonderful chief Slaughter..
Intercepted right off by the Scientology security. What a surprise. I live near here and these people are creepy.
Where are the people? I imagine they are hubbled in tunnels running between buildings never seeing the light of day
It's a CIA created cult.
Come to the east side I’ll walk you thru my hood

@user-hr3di5od3n thanks. I had seen this neighborhood in 2020, and you're right. Totally different than in 2023. Very active then, but now dead (in more ways than one). I was lucky to have got met Ricky that day. Cool dude, very open, great personality.

They are a cult anyone who knows a person connected to this Scientology "religion" knows what I say is true. L. Ron Hubbard was in the navy and must have undergone classified shock therapy where he then became insane and made this ideology with no other description now than a cult. They force you to give up everything you know and love, your financials, in the guise to find a higher life form. There is an episode on South Park that perfectly explains this idiocracy. Their belief system is one thing, but the deeper darker side of Scientology is terrible with the rapists, pedophiles, homophobes, etc. that call themselves apart of that organization. They own almost all of downtown Clearwater and their dormitories for the members have all blacked out windows. They all walk around in suits around downtown Clearwater with clipboards like they are an army of ants. Most of them are truly good people on the inside who are trying to be apart of something greater than themselves, but they do not understand the dark side of Scientology. The leaders are creeps . . .
I am a Scientologist and I can assure you, I am still in contact with much of my family (with the exception of a few). I am just a normal person, I have given up nothing. I work a 9 to 5. Its nothing special. I am also a fan of South Park haha. I can also name a few leaders who are creeps but fortunately, they have mostly all been booted out.
you barely even see them this is for clicks, I live less than a mile from where he is and they have never even spoken to me once.
Waste of what used to be an amazing downtown. I'm 15 minutes away and I never go near the area except maybe for a show at Capitol Theatre. The whole city should be booming, but everything north of Court Street is a creepy ghost town full of intentionally vacant storefronts.
That tax exception for religious organizations needs to go away.
Back in the 90s ECW ( Extreme Championship Wrestling), the Kingpin Angel of Da Baldies is from Queensbridge
A religion founded by a science fiction writer.
Thank you for doing this! Glad to see the school virtually without being there physically.
Been around forever… come on where ya been😂😂😂
You haven't been to the new city airport it is a museum air port
Downtown and Clearwater is a beautiful city. Come and see. We love it here. My family are not Scientologists, but we are friends with some and that is okay. We love our neighbors and live and let live.
@@brookehartley5085 I call bullshit!! You must be a Scientologist or getting ready to get indoctrinated. I live near this ghost-town too. The entire Tampa Bay Area has prospered post-pandemic with Downtown Clearwater still being held hostage!! Neighboring Clearwater Bench, Dunedin, Largo, Pinellas, and St. Pete have been booming while this surreal and miserable place just purposely keeps life and growth away from average Floridians.
My name is Shelly and I’ve been locked in the basement of that building for the last decade. It’s beautiful here!
It’s Gentrification! They are going re develop this whole area.
So fun fact. The adjacent building connected by a bridge was the Ft Harrison hotel. In 1965, The Rolling Stones toured in Clearwater and stayed at the Ft Harrison hotel. In that hotel, they wrote the some “Satisfaction”. Apparently the room service was questionable.
Lol
All religions are cults. Only some have been around a long long time, others not. It’s all bs.
Uh, no.
It’s eerily quiet.
The south does love their churches.😊
Zombies Roam ~ Clearwater Destroyed.................
Thanks for your video
It’s criminal what they’ve done to Clearwater
Can the “city sue”… for separation of church and state..since real estate is not in use and causing a vacuum in revenue.. forcing services to be cut back for tax paying citizens of the city. maybe challenge their tax exempts status … How can it be a tax exempt organization when it is not open to the public to attend?
They're the city they hold the power they won't be leaving anytime soon.
send in code enforcement
tax the fake church make clearwater great again
muscavish b/fing tom cruse
church of weirdos
I've been sooooo curious about this! Thank you! More?
I’m going there in less than 2 weeks so this is very convenient
Thanks to our economy, they cant afford to live in south tampa. A lot of these people probably voted for it though.
Ricky is right though all the new immigrants coming to America are pushing out all the poor white and black out of their homes and onto the streets
Scientology created by a science fiction writer, that is perfect inspiration for a Stephen King horror movie. 🤔
