We are a non-profit with the mission to encourage and support participation in the sports of cross country and track & field, mainly at the high school level. We do this by providing high quality video coverage of invitational and championship meets, and by creating behind-the-scenes stories of the athletes and teams that inspire current and future participants. We also seek to build and support a positive, healthy cross country and track community through engagement, music and a bit of inside humor. Our base is in Southern California and our coverage extends selectively to other parts of the state and to nationally prominent meets and stories.

Perfect song for Rylee shaking off the noise and still achieving great things!!! CIF Champion 2 years in a row. I am so proud of her!!!! Thank you HDrunners this is perfect!
17 guys under 9 minutes; What is this, Arcadia?
Arcadia this year had 72 under 9 minutes
@@lukecarroll19 True. I've actually posted that several times. My point was: there were a lot of sub-9's at State. Usually the winner, maybe the top 3, but it drops off after that. Historically, we've had many state champs not break 9. I had to look up an example: 1991 to 2002 only 4 guys total got under 9, including Meb and Ryan Hall. It's not that there has been a general improvement. Back in 1975 had two guys fighting it out at 8:45, for a full 2 miles.
8:09
I think it would have been interesting to see fasthorse run since he only ran a single 3200 this season and it was 8:45. He definitely had potential in this event but he thought he was a sahlman and tried to break 4
Sprinting- 1st Texas or florida Middle distance- California or utah Long distance- Gotta be Utah
Sprinting Arizona. Long distance and the 400 New Mexico
HD you rock !, thanks for all the hard work ! ! !
Texas 🇺🇸
German Fernandez Riverbank ca Best double in American history 4:00 1600m & 3200m 8:34 with 2 1/2 hours rest in 🥵 hot day!
Yeah I really question those performances. They're just a little too unreal.
We’re talking about Germans performance potentially being a sub 4 1600 and a sub 8:30 3200 equivalent in todays shoes.
60 second first lap is insane
57 second last lap is more insane 😵💫
Sprinting: Texas Middle Distance: Cali Long Distance: Cali Everything else: Cali
utah has crazy distance runners tho
@@paulbeal1Utah has great distance runners. That’s why he say’s California for distance.
@@Hengel_Andrews utah has wayy deeper talent, and better xc teams along with having 10% of the population that california does.
Oh boy, oh boy! King Maximo Zavaleta is an absolute marvel on the track, displaying an astoundingly consistent and dominant presence in every race he competes in. His prowess as a runner is nothing short of phenomenal, and his performances this season have cemented his status as one of the best young athletes in the nation. Maximo’s remarkable abilities are showcased through his impressive stats in the 2024 outdoor season. In the 800 meters, he clocked a personal record of 1:56.50, securing 2nd place in the Big VIII league and solidifying his position among the top runners in Southern California and on the national stage. His performance in the 1600 meters is even more spectacular, with a personal best of 4:08.63, which earned him 1st place in the league, region, and state rankings. Additionally, his 1-mile time of 4:10.16 and his 3200 meters time of 8:52.51 further demonstrate his extraordinary endurance and speed, both ranking him at the very top in his league, region, and state. Maximo’s growth as an athlete is evident from his continuous improvement in times. From running the 1600 meters in 4:20.99 last year to an astonishing 4:08.63 this year, his dedication and hard work are undeniable. Similarly, his 3200 meters time improved from 9:07.50 to an impressive 8:52.51. These improvements are a testament to his relentless pursuit of excellence. His relay performances are equally impressive. Maximo's contribution to his team’s success in the 4x800 relay, with a record time of 7:49.56, and the 4x1600 relay, clocking in at 17:41.46, highlights his versatility and team spirit. Moreover, his role in the Distance Medley Relay (DMR) with a time of 10:01.04 showcases his ability to perform under pressure and contribute significantly to team events. In every event, Maximo Zavaleta demonstrates not only his superior athletic ability but also his unwavering determination and sportsmanship. His impressive record and relentless improvement make it clear that he is an exceptional runner. King Maximo Zavaleta is indeed quite an amazing athlete, and the future looks incredibly bright for this outstanding young runner.

Hi
2:03 in the 800 for Engelhardt? I really didn't think she would catch her. Sadie is just amazing!
They lost three seconds on the drop. Fortunately 2:07 is just a fast rep for Sadie.
FINALLY! Been waiting for this video! Absolutely epic race. So proud of our Santiago ladies, and the awesome Ventura ladies. Can’t wait to watch these 2 teams battle in XC and next year in this rematch!!! Great coverage, HDR.
Congratulations! Outstanding Team.
Next year I'm not donating until AFTER you post the full CIF State meet.
With the videos they make as a non-profit it’s really good. So if u wanna pay $20-$30 for a website with crappy camera quality go do it.
@@darinhernandez-meas05 I don't mind the paywall as long as the video quality is at least 1080p HD but Flotrack and Runnerspace are all 720P so that's a non-starter for me.
Do we dare respond to this? Sure, why not? As we have mentioned several times, we do not have the rights to the State meet. You want us to give you State, write your congressman! Or at least your CIF contacts. We can do it live like we do most of our other meets. Multiple cameras and good quality. All for free. But CIF has to let us.
@@hdRunners It's truly idiotic on the restrictions that CIF has set up for the paywall.
Eww god them girls are too skinny, wtf
You're really really really really really fast did you train on a treadmill
When is the 2024 one coming out ?
Man they should have moved that damn rock
Bro didn’t break a sweat! I’d be over her raining practicing! 😂❤
When you going to drop the whole meet?
Go Sadie… amazing. !!!!!!!!
Bravo 👏🏻
Isn’t she disqualified??
not if it’s in the exchange area
Zach Lewis is a beast!!!
When are you guys gonna upload boys triple jump?
The results board wasn't showing most of the Boys Triple Jump attempts, and the official results only show the best marks for each athlete. We've tried to obtain the marks for each attempt and to date have been unsuccessful -- which has delayed our video release. We're looking for alternatives and hope to have the video posted by first week of June. Thanks for your interest and patience.
Determination!
UNREAL COMEBACK
so Noonan outkicks everyone in every race but people don't try to kick till the last lap every time thinking they will outkick? How bad at strategizing are these runners?
You have to realize that Evan Noonan was 1 second off the national record for 3 mile xc and ran a 4:04 1600 so for most athletes they have a better chance outkicking him the last lap than overtaking sooner which will make them vulnerable
@@paulbeal1 bro the only race noonan lost this year in the 16/32 was a 3200 where people pushed the pace extremely early and he couldn't outkick at the end you can look it up yourself. He has the same strategy every race and the best closing kick out of all these fields he's running aganist yet they try the same strategy over and over knowing its almost definetly not going to work...
@@mr.t1417 I think its unreasonable to expect his competition to be at the same caliber as the athletes in arcadia 3200m
@@mr.t1417The field was super stacked and unlikely for him to win. I feel like before that his training was not that crazy so he can peak late season.
@@paulbeal1 several californians were in that arcadia meet and did better than him (Perez, Fasthorse), and Parra almost beat him using the strategy I told you about of surging before the last lap (with the rest of the field in that case). I think it's a great example of trying to break a competitor's will before the final lap. Californians the most competitive state I think its fair to compare their athletes to the arcadia invitees (especially with several of them racing).
Sadie's in another league.
Her smiling b4 the finish is cute lmao
Amazing Run Ventura 😃😃😃👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Wow !!!!!
